This about the election that took place in June 12 1993 between MKO Aabiola, and Bashir Tofa. This election has not been forgotten in the history of Nigeria, and still remains indelible in Nigeria history till date because of it's transparency, and credibility. Uptil date, Nigerians have not experienced such a credible, and transparent election which we all anticipate for.
This election was option A4 where supporters of the aspirants queued behind their posters, in this case their is nothing like ballot box snatching, and people were counted according how they queued, and election manipulation was very imposible.
Today, June 12 is now regarded as the democracy day in Nigeria because of the transparency of the election that took place in June12 1993.
This shows that Nigeria has done things right before, and can still do it again.
Today, politicians has introduced secret ballot election, and introduced snatching of ballot boxes, arm tugs with gone, and corrupt the electoral body.
I think Nigeria should go back to the previous system of election where ballot boxes will not be snatched. What we want in Nigeria is transparent election, let the masses choose their own leader, and not politicians ruling Nigeria by force, and against the wish of Nigerians.
