I'm having some issues using the Clearnet website on my mobile and desktop browser. Mainly, I have a few emails in my inbox, and when the page first loads I can see all three for only a split second. They then disappear, and I can only see one email. Furthermore, when I try to click on the one email I can see, my mobile browser shows nothing, and my desktop browser shows only a small portion of the email, unless I click full view. This is happening with both JS disabled/enabled. I don't know if I'm explaining my issue correctly, or if anyone else is having Clearnet mobile/desktop browser issues...I was able to pass SMTP, though. The issues I'm facing are the only barrier keeping me from willingly switching over my forum email address from proton to owl, I really like it otherwise.

Edit: I used the provided support email and sent a short description of my issues
Edit again: "Undelivered mail returned to sender"

Here is a screenshot,
Here's two screenshots showing the issue I'm facing:

[1] Initial page loading - all 11 emails only visible for (maybe?) a fraction of a second. All 11 emails present.

[2] Page fully loaded - only 2/11 emails visible. Can't find a way to see the other 9 emails.

@TryNinja - I see your inbox has one email. Since you posted that screenshot, have you received any other emails in your inbox? Are you experiencing this same issue?

Well, I don't remember correctly, but as far as I remember, there was another option to pass SMTP, which was an offline method.
Do you know what the logic behind it is? And how does it work? So that users will be able to send emails....
I don't think it is possible to send a digital message offline without a direct meeting between the sender and the recipient. You can create it, but not send it.
I think it's impossible to send smtp 100% anonymously without tor or vpn.

No, I am not talking about sending a message offline. I am talking about when I was trying to send an email; it asked me to pass SMTP, and now, as far as I remember, there were two options to pass SMTP: online and offline methods(just for passing SMTP, not for sending a message).

I have another question, which is how and why fast mode is needed in the service, where I noticed that emails are already being sent super quickly as I tested the service again today.

Because when I click fast mode, it asks me to "Enter your password to enable JS mode:"

You don't have to click on it. It connects to IMAP automatically, which is why the option vanishes very quickly after loading the page.

Did you check your junk or trash box? If you still don't find them there, then I doubt that the system needs to have some upgrades. Because an email vanishing without any reason from the inbox doesn't make any sense. Hopefully, you will get a positive update from the support team if you have already told them about the issue that you are facing.

Furthermore, when I try to click on the one email I can see, my mobile browser shows nothing, and my desktop browser shows only a small portion of the email, unless I click full view.

Hmm, this may be a kind of glitch... Have you gotten any response from the team regarding this issue till now?

Sneep

Nah, the email-preview being too small was also pointed out by TryNinja. It's not the biggest concern for me, b/c I can see it through the full view option just fine. As for the support response, I emailed the listed email on the website you're supposed to send support-inquiries to, and it just returns an email to me stating the email failed to send.

Oh, I got you here. I think you need to give it another try may be you will be able to send this time.
But honestly, I haven't faced such an issue anytime I used the service.

Thanks for informing us about this.

Aside from this, I noticed one more thing. I just deleted an email from my Sent box to test the trash function.
I think it is also not working properly, if I am not wrong. I refreshed the trash page many times, but I cannot see my deleted mail there.
One more question: once we delete the mail from the Sent box, how many days does it stay in the trash Box? Is there any timeline for this, like 30, 60 or 90 days?

I also noticed the sidebar/email layout could be improved.

Here is a screenshot, the email container should take more of the screen:
At first, I was surprised to see the display positioned on the right side of the screen. I thought it was a glitch on my end. But after trying it a few times, it remained the same. It turns out that is simply the intended layout. The view only shifts back to the center when you click "Reply or Open Full View." It is a rather unique and different approach, reminiscent of old messaging styles. But, in my opinion, it would be better if the display were centered from the start. It feels like an empty space to have the center completely while the message area is confined to a small section on the right.

I just realized that ..
But so far, it's fine and quick to send and receive any mails.

Another feedback, on mobile the menu icons take too much space and only show their icons

- add the menu title
- add a collapsible menu that you can open and close

I was just about to try sending an email with an image or file attached, but it turns out there isn't an attachment feature yet, is there?
Perhaps in the future, there could be features to support sending attachments or similar items, since this is a very useful feature after all.

Aside from this, I noticed one more thing. I just deleted an email from my Sent box to test the trash function.
I think it is also not working properly, if I am not wrong. I refreshed the trash page many times, but I cannot see my deleted mail there.
Oh, yeah, after testing it, I just also realized, this feature is still missing. When an email is deleted, it wasn't on the Trash menu. This might need to be fixed, just in case the user wants to view the email again later.  Smiley

This seems to be a limitation of their web-based mail client.

However, you can use your email account through IMAP/SMTP with any mail client, which won't have this limitation. For example, through Thunderbird

Code:

I visited Owlmail for first time today using Tor browser and the site loaded within seconds without any delays so I decided to create an e-mail on the platform and created my e-mail at their platform within seconds. To be honest it's the only platform where I was able to create an e-mail address so fast because most non privacy e-mail services like Gmail, Hotmail and others take sometime when we create our e-mail address at those sites but on Owlmail the e-mail was created within few seconds. I must say it's a neat and clean platform and is very useful because it works without JavaScript and keeps no logs of the users.

If you have some time, let them know about the mail layout issue where the mail takes only 10% of the screen while the list of emails takes most of it.

This seems to be a limitation of their web-based mail client.
Oh, I see. So, there are some limitations because of that. We can keep this in mind when we want to use this email.

I visited Owlmail for first time today using Tor browser and the site loaded within seconds without any delays so I decided to create an e-mail on the platform and created my e-mail at their platform within seconds.
Exactly. We can do it very quickly and easily. Without having to provide a phone number or other details. That is often a hurdle when creating an email account. The bottom line is that it is anonymous, offering better privacy protection.
