I will go for Bitcoin, yes and you had me clearly, not because you are on the platform here but we have to spill out the truth about which one is more preferable than the other when it comes to investment opportunities.

Bitcoin is not centralized while real estate is,
You will not require any maintenance fund to secure bitcoin because you make use of the wallet while you will have to maintain your real estate over time.

Also come to think about government regulations and other centralization challenges you may face through regulated authorities in Real estate, while all these does not apply to a decentralized network in Bitcoin.

Finally, I will have to talk about profitability, what bitcoin starting to benefit you within a decade is far more higher than what is time to get from real estate over the same time frame.

So if I'm going to speak they bought have different uses and different target market
They aren't mutually exclusive
You can try to own both but if I'm going to pick stable and  fast rising as result of location

For me, I still stick with Bitcoin as the current asset that creates substantial wealth or good value for a long period of time. Because it is no doubt that anybody who might have invested $10,000 in Bitcoin in 2026 will be a millionaire today, due to how far Bitcoin skyrocketed over the years. However, right now, I doubt if same amount (i.e $10,000) will be able to generate millions in the next 10years, which is 2036 with the current rate of Bitcoin now at $63,000 per BTC. But if $100,000 to $300,000 is invested, I have a slightly high chances that Bitcoin has the potential of going between 4x to 5x in the next 10years.

Real Estate is a must if you value cash income but it is also expensive to obtain unless you buy REIT shares from the stock market. Bitcoin on the other hand performed very well in the last decade but it is not really doing great in the last 2-3 years.

I wouldn't do a vs between these different assets though. They fix different problems. I would advise you to own both if you can. There is no reason to choose one over another.

havent as of yet) I think real estate would be my first consideration. Yes real estate takes quite
a large amount of capital so maybe the time to do it would be when Bitcoin market has turned

As to which is more profitable? for me its hard to tell, both would be quite profitable depending
on the approach adopted in the long term.

Have you also asked this question on real estate forums, or at least in neutral ones? You clearly know most of the answers here. In my country, the "build your dream home while you're young" trend has never waned, even amidst macroeconomic instability. You'll see new cluster housing units being sold by different developers, even every 2 miles.
The bottom line is, if you're dedicated and consistent with a single business opportunity, you'll generate commensurate returns.

Didn't open the link, but there might not be a single formula that applies to all. The real estate situation isn't uniform in all countries. They even differ from one city to another, one town to another.

From where I am, however, if we're to use this very hour's price of Bitcoin, 10 years from now, Bitcoin is certainly the winner. I'm not just optimistic, I'm confident Bitcoin would grow more than x3 in the next 10 years. I'm not sure real estate properties here would grow as fast.

The good thing with real estate in my place is that it's almost guaranteed to grow in value over time. It might be relatively slow growth but it's almost sure. It's not as risky as Bitcoin.

Surely Bitcoin will win and give Bitcoin investors better ROIs in a next decade compares to what real estates can give ROIs to real estate investors.
It's because Bitcoin is an emerging investment asset with huge potential for further adoption and growth while real estates are very traditional investment asset. There is another factor, that is Bitcoin digital and technological aspect which can help it growing very fast.
The last factor is market cycle and it's obvious that Bitcoin has a significant shorter market cycle length as 4-year cycle (by Bitcoin halving cycle) than real estates market cycle that can be 10 years or longer, dependent on different cycles in different countries.

I think theres pros and cons for these match up. But I like them both honestly. Bitcoin is a volatile asset and it changes a lot from drastic ranges and you can either benefit from it or not in the long run. Sometimes you loss when you bought it at the top. While real estate is a silver lining. I didnt see much it will depreciated its value unless theres an issue on the location of the area. But as we all know it land property only increases its value in due time.

Bitcoin for me but I consider real estate for another investment and still giving more wealth. But I am not thinking that is a battle between Bitcoin and bricks because that is different.

But if you invest in real estate, you should thinking about the depreciation of the house which will increase time to time. Not to mention about the maintenance that could occurs or the taxes that could also increases.

No, not millions, just 1 million as bitcoin price 10 years ago was about $650 (depending on which day of the month we’re talking about, it was more or less than that, but just to give us an idea). But you’re forgetting the most important part: holding on to them until today without selling along the way. It’s like saying that anyone who bought bitcoin at $0.01 is now a billionaire – which is what would have happened if they’d bought $10,000’s worth back then and held on to the whole lot until today. But what actually happened was the opposite. Most people sold when they made a small return, having doubled or tripled their capital. Some even sold at a loss.

Since you’re making the comparison, with property it’s harder to make an impulsive sale. For a start, because it’s nowhere near as liquid and because it takes time. Plus, it isn’t as volatile. And there’s nothing quite like losing your private keys when it comes to property.

All in all, you’re comparing apples and oranges.

Props to the OP for having the right conversation about Bitcoin instead of the typical (wrong) one: Bitcoin does not "compete" with USD or any other currency per se, it's just an investment, and as an investment it competes with real estate, stocks, bonds, futures, other cryptos, sports betting, Polymarket, and basically anything that you put your money in for the purposes of having more money in the future.

As for the topic, I guess the first thing I would ask is... what real estate? Some real estate is a bad investment, and some might be a good investment. It's like anything else.

Bitcoin, as an investment, has one driver for its price: more people investing in Bitcoin. If you think more people will want to invest in Bitcoin in the future, then buy it. If you don't, then sell it and invest in something else. It's really that simple. Bitcoin is not like a company that has a market and a product you can investigate, it doesn't have demographic factors like real estate does, it doesn't even have players and their relative athletic form like sports betting would depend on. Bitcoin is a "meme investment" meaning you are investing the name, "Bitcoin". It might get more popular, or it might become far less popular. Invest according to your own feeling about this.

Depends on a lot of different factors and drivers.
The first question should be, Bitcoin vs. real estate, which is more accessible to you financially? Real estate is very expensive if you want to be as profitable as investing in Bitcoin in the next decade. You want cheaper property? You'll most likely get that in far-flung areas that would likely develop in the next 10-20 years. If that's going to be the case, it's going to be much harder for you to make cash flows out of that property in 10 years. Real estate can generate enormous wealth if you're willing to spend/invest more and take less to develop your property and catch up with the demand and competition.
On the other hand, Bitcoin continues making a lot of progress on both utilities and adoption. So, the answer to this is very obvious if you have limited capital.
