If you had invested $10,000 in Bitcoin ten years ago, you could have turned it into millions. If you had invested the same amount into a rental property with leverage, you might have built a six-figure equity position while collecting monthly cash flow.

Both crypto and real estate have created enormous wealth over the past decade. But as we look toward 2036, investors face a critical question:

Which asset class is more likely to create substantial wealth over the next ten years—crypto or real estate?

I do not know what real estate is like in other parts of the world, but we all know that Bitcoin is that same all over the world.
Based on the country where I live in today, if today I am asked to choose between real estate investment and bitcoin investment, I would choose real estate, but do not forget we can always own both.

But if it was 10 years ago that I had this option to choose between real estate and bitcoin, I would happily choose bitcoin because back then, bitcoin was way cheaper than it is currently and the chances of making huge profit was higher than investing in real estate at that same time.
But today, the price of bitcoin have become quite expensive while here in my country, its still possible to find properties in local areas that are very cheap today and has the potential to become very expensive in the coming 5 to 10 years, so I will choose real estate because like many of us know, it's profit is kind of guaranteed, unlike bitcoin investment where guaranteed profit has to depend on how long you are willing to hold and you have to pray that the market does well.

Real estate is more stable, but has slow growth. It is also an asset that has cash flow. Bitcoin, on the other hand, is market-driven. It has high growth potential and is volatile. To choose both is not bad. To choose one over the other is not bad too. Both can build wealth, but cash flow is king.

Another thing that separates them is the capital to start. With as little as $10, you can have Bitcoin. Not the same with real estate. Bitcoin might outperform real estate, but I won't dismiss cash flow. Real estate has that and Bitcoin doesn't have that. Except you want to trade Bitcoin, that's when cash flow comes.

Real estate being stable is overstatement. It's not stable at all and owning real estate is like owning NFT. You can think of high prices but the real question is, who's going to buy?

The value of real estate has been recognized for thousands of years. We cannot deny that simply because we cannot afford to own or invest in it.

Both are hot cake and they create real wealth, the difference is the that real estate generate money faster and in a short period of time, while Bitcoin generation is based on the method adopted, for long term it creates real wealth but in short term investment it is under probability which is one of the things that should be considered first before comparing both, real estate generate money than some short term investment, in my country today most of the wealthy people are majorly real estate dealers, I never knew real estate business was such a life changing engagement until I saw some people who are into it. Imagine combining real estate business and Bitcoin (long term investment) together.

We should also take into account what country we are talking about, because in some countries new laws are limiting the price you can ask for rentals in the so called "stressed areas", and given the exaggerated price increase due to vulture fund speculation, I wouldn't be surprised to see limits on the sale price of housing in the future, which could dash the expectations of many investors. However, I doubt very much that the price of Bitcoin can be limited, no matter how much the price rose, as it is a global price.

If we have had invested the same amount into a rental property, we might surely have made a six-figure profit but let's not forget about the depreciation on the actual asset plus the maintenance costs and last but not the least, property and capital gain taxes. If you minus all these expenses, that six-figure might change into a four-figure digit real fast. I would not consider real-estate over bitcoins only because of the above mentioned expenses. Along with these expenses, monitoring and maintaining the property is a time-consuming job. Also, there will be rent delays which will add up to the expense list because every single day lost if a loss of money.

Bitcoins on the other hand have no such expenses and we get real profits. Yes, after regulatory effects, taxes will come into picture but those taxes would still be at a capped limit of 30% on gains. We still get to keep the 70% profit with no other expense and that for me is a big plus point to stick with bitcoins.

Most people have gotten rich through real estate in times and same goes for Bitcoin and level at which the whole thing is going if the resources are available then the both of them won't be bad because they have good prospects and one good thing about real estate is that housing is a necessity and it is something that we can not do without and that is one thing that drives it's market people need housing to stay in and there is no way that, and housing is one of the major contributor to the economy and so is Bitcoin so what I can say in this situation is that people will need to choose which ever they can afford to invest in them self.

Because Bitcoin is a multi billion dollar investment so you see that it has also gains a huge place in the economy and we should just have to be decisive and if the resources are available for the both of them then that is fine.

Moreover, Bitcoins can be sold faster when the desired profit has been gained because, unlike real estate, selling it takes time in order to establish the right price for our expectations. The earnings should also be adjusted with the costs of maintenance, and that is why I choose Bitcoins.
