What is your take on this?
Judging from history, the profits are made when you buy and not when you sell but most people assume that they make a profit when they sell but they real investors understands that more money is being made when you buy low and the best time to buy low is during the bear market. Bitcoin has always been an investment that prioritize those that are willing to buy in the red not those that are chasing the profit, if you are the type of investor that is just interested to get a quick profit from Bitcoin then you are not the type of investor the market is going to favour. Investing in Bitcoin in the bear market is the right way to invest and you can achieve this by simply DCA in the sense that you invest your money rationally and spread your investment within a period of time that gives you an advantage so you don't get liquidated out of the market by selling out of fear instead it gives you an opportunity to have accumulated more Bitcoin.
I totally agree with you because everything you said is a fact. People forget that Bitcoin is rating high in the asset class which makes it a good asset to bank on, it's gone beyond the usecase of transactions to something that's very valuable so it's not really something to look up to for quick profits but rather buy and hold it longer for greater returns.
If people put emotions aside they'll understand the importance of the bear market, to some it's a period of lose but to people with a futuristic mindset it's a good opportunity, if there's enough capital for investment, that's the best time to buy more Bitcoin instead of selling.
