I would say these two skills have influenced through out my trading journey. First and foremost is patience. In trading, there are no profits without patience. Yes, you might get lucky once or twice but without patience, you are just risking it all. Learning to be patient is one of the most difficult thing I had to go through. I spend months in practicing to be patient and sometimes I myself would get demotivated by the results. I barely learnt how to be patient when I entered actual trading. It was only after I had major losses, I understood the importance of patience.

Second most important skill in trading would be technical analysis. It is really important to analyse the markets in order to take informed decisions. Without a proper analysis, we would simply be gambling instead of trading. If technical analysis is combined with patience, it can immediately cut short losses and maybe wind you up in profits.

At first, I thought you were talking about technical skills, but you’re actually referring to psychological skills. Yes, along with proper technical skills, you also need to be mentally strong. Among the things mentioned by the OP, I believe risk management is the most crucial. One should assess their risk-taking capacity and open trades accordingly. In addition, you need to be cautious and prepared for unpredictable market movements.

If you are someone who practices proper risk management and analysis, then you have already done half the job. I personally prioritize risk management and stop-losses above everything else. Both have significantly helped me protect myself from market losses.

I'm not asking what sounds best on paper, but what has genuinely had the biggest impact on your decisions and outcomes. i know it is likely not always the trading and technical skill that gives you all the positives you have had in crypto right?
Booking profit and not looking back either I booked earlier or I cut my loss later, the key is to not look back but take the lesson because that matters. Otherwise I would not be saying this. What I really mean is don't keep it on your mind for too long because it will become a weight and we won't be able to think clearly.

In trading we have to think openly and feel no stress at all because if we are already feeling pressured from the market and other expenses, and still trading with our food money, then we are under a lot of stress and we want to make money so badly that it will lead us to bad decisions.

Therefore don't let emotions, your personal life, and your laziness get in the way, always take it seriously.

One thing I've noticed is that people don't all reach the same results in crypto for the same reasons.

Some people seem to excel because they're good at trading or that they are good at technical analysis or that they are good at digging into information and doing their own research. Others benefit more from patience, discipline, risk management, or simply knowing when to stay out of the market.
According to your statement, all of the advantages you mentioned cannot be disregarded because no trader in the world can succeed without having the patience to wait for market confirmation, maintaining sufficient discipline during waiting hours, using the appropriate ratio to manage risk for each trade, and simply knowing when to stay out of the market for the day and do it.

Looking back on your own journey, if you had to choose one skill that has made the biggest difference for you, what would it be?
I will select every single one of them.

There is no single skill that will contribute to our crypto success, its always the combination of risk management, patience, discipline and knowing when to exit the market. All of these will guarantee a successful trading journey, lacking one of these will definitely not led to success, but it's still the opposite way around.

But I think your biggest advantage to make trading successful is the fact that you know what you are doing well. You don't just enter trading because of peer pressures or because others have been successful from it, but you decide to trade after a long term preparation of skills and with right trading mindset.

Honestly I hope I am good in trading like accurate TA skills and more but Im not. Everyone dream to be so good in trading but I only employ the simplest parameter when doing one and typically the buy low sell high method.

Since Im active more on potential airdrops and investing I am not regretting to fully maximized on trading compared to that since my results are not bad compared to an excel trader who had lots of profits. But ofcourse being a trader with high win rate is still a dream I wanna achieved.

No one is actually a good trader from start it just depends on our mindset and how committed we are ready to give everything to trading like if we are really ready to sacrifice a lot of time and energy into it then we will make progress both in our knowledge of trading, our trading results and also technical and fundamentals analysis too.

We all can do it and move towards a profitable trader but it needs alot more than our regular hard work so we need to very committed to the market and keep increasing our knowledge in trading. This might take longer than we might expect but it really worth the hard work because success doesn’t come with ease.

If there's one skill that has made a huge part in my crypto success, that's certainly risk management. This is the baseline that makes everything possible. Without it, no matter how smart and strategic you are, how patient you are, you will never totally achieve your success in crypto. It becomes a backbone for a sustainable trading, and when you know you have this risk management, the chances to make wrong decisions and make use of emotions when trading will more likely be highly avoided.

Like some people have mentioned, the reason why many people have been bad at crypto is lack of patience. Crypto takes time to grow and patience if often lacking because people want quick gains and they enter the crypto market looking at others making quick gains, hoping the same to happen to them too.

The reality is much different as rise in crypto price in terms of fiat can happen anytime and over time this becomes evident and tolerable for common people. However newbies will not develop that tolerance before they run out of patience.

This along with the clear head of how to handle an investment is enough to start of in crypto.
People think being patient is a piece of cake. They think all that's required is a stable mindset but this is where most fail. None of us have a stable mind. We always have tons of things going on in our head consciously or unconsciously. That makes our brain busy sparing minimum time on being disciplined. If we want to learn patience, we really need to make up our mind in that way. We have to learn managing time and giving some free time to our brain so it can process further thoughts.

We can only be patience if we have a stable mind so instead of running being patience, we should first find peace of mind. With an empty heart, we can achieve a lot of things bringing good to us.

I completely agree that following risk management principles, in particular, the ability to control one’s emotions, is what will have a major impact on any trader’s success. However, it’s worth noting that this is especially important for those who trade on exchanges, particularly with leverage. For long-term investors, though, patience is key.
