I absolutely agree with you because this is what some of us do to miss the opportunity of accommodating Bitcoin, they always try to claim wisiness not knowing that they are just killing their chances one after the order. Procrastinating in building your bitcoin polifolio is absolutely wrong idea for someone to do, for instance if two people decided to invest in Bitcoin, Mr A decided to wait for the dip before you can own a Bitcoin and Mr B decided to use DCA strategy to accumulate Bitcoin, who do you think will have more Bitcoin between two of them? There is a strategy that i normally use when the price of bitcoin is high and what i do is to reduce my DCA amount then during DIP periods, i increase my DCA amount. With this strategy, it will help you to buy more bitcoins when the price is low which will help to maximize profits when the price goes high. Some people do suspend buying bitcoin when the price begins an uptrend, but this is a very bad approach because that time they are waiting for the price to fall, they can use it to still acquire some fractions of bitcoin which will help them to increase their holding.
