Hi man, Italian language is very difficult for anyone without latin language background, it might be like learning cyrillic russian or chinese. If you know english very well you can search some videos on youtube for grammatical (very difficult for italian's too) and then start to watching cartoons.
Start with simple ones like teletubbies or cartoon for 1-3 years child, no song but only speaking, and once you start to understand move in the next step with the Simpsons and the films.
