I think most people can hear their heart pounding in their chests when they gamble. This is what happens to me. Especially when I lose bets repeatedly and my savings are finally depleted. Even when I suddenly increase my bet amount, I can still hear my heart pounding in my chest. I always play with extra money that won't hurt my real life, but I still get this heart pounding in my chest.

Its a normal thing, that is why gamblers are told to bet with the money they can burn off, although, there are some gamblers that their heart still beat very fast even if they place with a little money because of the fear of losing and since they are not certain about the game, their emotions react to their risks and before they know, their heart start pounding very fast, and this might affect their health, that's why its important for one to know the kind of person they are before they involve into what will destroy or end their lives short.

The anticipation of success or failure causes the body to release adrenaline. This is a normal human reaction to the anticipation of something unexpected.
Adrenaline actually increases your heart rate,that’s its purpose, since the release of adrenaline is a natural defense mechanism in dangerous, unexpected, or confusing situations, when our bodies need to get revved up and be ready for the unexpected-"you have to be ready to run/fight/..., which means your muscles need to be pumped with blood and ready for exertion". The risk of losing or the anticipation of winning triggers exactly this reaction. In short, this is normal and most likely happens to most people

First gambling with amount of money that puts you under pressure is not good at all, you shouldn't bet and the next second your heart beats increased, this is not nice and you can never have fun in gambling if you are gambling chasing a direction or risking amount that you can't afford to lose.

The fun is gambling is winning, but to gamble responsibly you have to gamble with amount of money you can afford to lose and you won't be under pressure for whatever reasons.

You already know where the problem lies and the trigger so you just have to avoid it, I personally honestly I have never experienced that in sports betting but in other types of gambling such as random games yes I have, usually this happens when I try to test my luck with big bets, I only have a few chances to click the button before all my money is gone and if the round goes really bad then obviously I lose everything, but before that I always try to make peace with myself that whether I like it or not and ready or not I have to accept the consequences, but yes feelings and heartbeats cannot be completely controlled.

You're not the only one; many gamblers, including me, experience this from time to time. Don’t worry buddy, it’s happened to me too, and i’m sure almost every gambler has been in that situation at some point. This is caused by a lack of readiness to accept losses, perhaps because you placed a larger bet, in other words, one that didn’t fit within your set budget. Maybe at that moment, your confidence was high, so you thought you wanted to maximize your chances in the hope of ultimately making a big profit.

One of the main reasons for gambling is to have fun, but if your heart is racing and you’re breaking out in a cold sweat throughout the game, it’s no longer fun.

Yea, I have experienced it whenever I bet with huge amount of money. Sometimes, I don't feel like checking the scores because my instincts will be telling me that I have lost the bet.

I don't like that kind of feelings anymore so, I have stopped betting with any amount that will put me under pressure. After all, what are we gambling for when if we make profit, we might not still be satisfied with it and in the process of looking for more lose it all.

Same with me, I don't feel my heartbeat going up when I'm playing casino because the bet amounts are small and I am aiming for big multipliers like 200x on crash. So at that time my bet size is usually 25 or 50 cents, depending on the deposit amount of course, usually 0.5-1% of the total deposit.

I only experience this kind of thing whenever I place a large bet. That just means I am afraid that I am going to lose a big amount if ever the team I rooted for loses.

Having your heart pump that much is not a good sign. It means we are betting an amount that we may not afford, and you are scared that it can be gone after the game. My largest bet for a sports game was $40, and I am truly frustrated when I lost it. It made me think about it every night, and it's stressful.
It's normal to get that kind of feeling, but it's not normal if we do it every time, since we are losing money that we are not comfortable with.

I believe you are not the only gambler who experiences this. It happens to other gamblers including me. The reason why this kind of thing happen is because, sometimes we fill so confident about our predictions, and even over trust our predictions, and this is reason why we can make huge bet, and our heart will begin to beat. Gambling or betting is one thing that is so difficult to predict the outcome, and we place bet based on speculation. So when you place a huge bet, and it eventually fail, you become emotionally drained, and this kind of situation can cause more havoc to you than just loosing that bet. You can become very unhappy, and end up transferring the aggression to other people.

First gambling with amount of money that puts you under pressure is not good at all, you shouldn't bet and the next second your heart beats increased, this is not nice and you can never have fun in gambling if you are gambling chasing a direction or risking amount that you can't afford to lose.

The fun is gambling is winning, but to gamble responsibly you have to gamble with amount of money you can afford to lose and you won't be under pressure for whatever reasons.

Being under pressure because of a bet size that's too large than what you would normally bet is viewed by the brain as danger. This is hitting your physiological risk tolerance and it is a response to abnormal amount of stress caused by going beyond your normal bet amount.
There's no one who hasn't experienced this phenomenon in their betting years, because it is sure to happen where your heart beat just increases because it is a new risk level that can't be ignored by the brain.

Even if it is a dare, you still get the heartbeat increase and it's because such a one is gambling with funds they really can't afford to lose at the moment.

Yes, I did, that was a bet where I do all in, it was heart pounding because my funds rely on the result of such a wager.

 I think people will experience this kind of stuff when they bet more than what they can afford to lose, and their future finances depend on that bet.  If he wins, he will have way more money to spend than he needs, but if he loses, he will be in financial desperation.  This kind of bet is not healthy, so as much as possible we must avoid this kind of situation.

it happens but not necessarily while i just placed the bet. it mostly happens while the game is going on and it is not going in line with the prediction i have made. if you use an amount that is even big on the extreme, that is where it gets even worse because no matter how we claim that we gamble with the amount we are willing to loose, no one actually likes to loose in his game. the other time it happens is also when the game is going my way. excitement can also cause my heart to skip a bit.

Right? Sometimes even if the amount staked is what you can actually afford to lose, the thought of losing that money can actually make your heart to race a bit, especially when you’re either watching or monitoring the game and it’s not going according to as planned lol. That excitement part is also true, excitement and fear at the same time, fear that things just continue going that way and nothing should go wrong, especially the last minutes of the game such feelings are crazy you know.

Honestly Alot of gamblers has experience this kind of feeling before mostly especially when the stake is high or the outcome means a lot to them. The body can react with excitement, making the heartbeat increase or go faster and with all this it can make tension high even before the results even comes out. This was my previous experience when I was not totally serious yet about risk management thing and would act as more greedy while trying to bet higher more than what I have set as my betting amount.

So every time I bet big, my heartbeat never seems to function normal especially when checking the final score or outcome. It only stopped when I start to act more responsible and cautious with my betting decisions, otherwise I would be more prone for heart attack especially that my blood pressure is normally high.
