Like the subject says. It’s a question, have you ever placed a bet and noticed that your heartbeat has drastically increased, like you can literally hear your heartbeat from inside your chest, hands begin to shake and your countenance completely changed even before the game is decided?
This happens to me whenever I make a bet that’s just too huge, so I wanna know is it normal or is it just me who experiences this.

I remember this happened to me when I first played and gambled in my entire life.

I was around 14 years old at that time and my brother convinced me to gamble away the money that I received from my birthday as a gift. We played on this online cockfighting game (aka sabong) and he told me that the chances of me doubling my money would be 50/50. I was hesitant at first but he successfully convinced me to do so. When I first entered my bet, my heart was pounding as if it was about to explode. Lo and behold- I LOST miserably and he laughed at me.

There are many cases when you are gambling with amount you that you can afford to lose the money to betting, your heart will start beating making you scared and restless of what the outcome could be. Gambling is not really easy and many of us that want to make quick money from betting may end of using big amount of money to bet so they can get huge reward.

I mean, this is what we get in gambling. The anxiety, the hopes of winning huge, the misery, and the excitement are just the ranges of emotions that one experience whenever they do this act. In fact, there are people who intentionally gamble just to feel these emotions given that they find those feelings as exciting as a whole.

I think two things can make one to be in this state.

• if you are gambling with the amount that you cant afford to lose or if you gamble with some amount of money that is not meant for gambling.

it can cause so much panic because you are already know it is a game of 50/50 which anything can happen.

• Expectations

Having so much expectation in gambling is another factor that can cause so much panicking in one, that is why it is advisable to no to expect win from gambling because it is very unpredictable and it is a game of surprise. Gambling is a game of so much concern when people understands it more that what gambling is all about.

As far I remembered, no, I don't feels like you said and just feels normal like I don't place a bet. If I coincidentally placing a huge bet, that is because I losing control and want to chase my desire to win which is not good. I only feels difficult to thinks and only want to recover my losses and I can say to you that I don't place a huge bet. I realize the risks so I preventing myself placing much money as the bet. You should controls yourself and aware that you must not place a huge bet and consider that the lose can comes to you anytime.

Whether you like it or not. Or even accept it or not, we still have to tell you that what you experienced is clearly a result of staking far more than you can afford to lose..
I tell you this because myself have never experienced such, though I have fainted once as a result of a match outcome not going in line with my prediction, so I lost money, I fainted because that money was too huge for me to lose at that time, It was definitely not an amount I can afford to lose and I didn't experience the heart beating fast and hands shaking stuff because at the time I placed the bet, I was super confident it will play exactly as I have predicted it, but unfortunately, it didn't and that was when my heart almost stopped beating.

Since the above experience, I cautiously stopped betting above my limit of endurance, any amount I know I can not endure losing, I don't bet it, I don't have to allow myself get a heart attack simply because of betting, it makes no sense at all.

Well if you’re going through that then you have to think about yourself and most especially your health should be considered, which might be the ultimate priority, because you can’t play a game and immediately your heart beat increases should be watched and monitored very well, and you should also have know well enough that you’re gambling, and when gambling nothing is guaranteed it’s just more like a game of chess that you need to have a luck and calculative, but myself included I prefer to gamble responsibly.

I do agree that if there is a health problem then yeah it should not be done. But here I think the topic is more about how people would get excited about things, and not really like a heart problem. Maybe I got it wrong, maybe it is a health problem, maybe they have a higher blood pressure during games they bet on and if that is the case and if I got it wrong then yeah they should stop betting right away instantly and not bet anymore. But from what I understood, it's more about like getting excited about it, and not heart problems.

After that, I had one chance to recover the lost money, so I was quite anxious and attentive to the gambling game, what consequently accelerated my heartbeat. Yea i agree with you, the pressure that comes with matches that are staked with larger amounts of money is always higher than that with lower money, though most people will will still prefer higher stakes due to the higher chances of winning but let people always try to bet wisely wether higher stake of lower stakes, don’t be greedy by accumulating excess games and always bet on options that are realistic.
Heart related issues is something that no one should joke with so always ensure to bet wisely, bet carefully and bet only an amount that you can afford to lose so you don’t put yourself under unnecessary pressure.

Yeah, most of us could have experienced that kind of effect of gambling in our body. As it involved a lot of emotions when placing our bet as we are hoping that we could win our bet regardless of what kind of games we are playing.

Specially if someone risk money that they can't afford to lose, as their are a lot of gamblers who are just like that. Who think that gambling is a way out of their money problem. So they will be nervous and heartbeat increases as it's a do or die situation for them.

This has happened to me before , but guess what? It only happens to me when I place a long ticket parlay that would have won big as at then. After placing this bet, it went straight down with numerous wins but the last game which I wished I could win and settled most of my problem later cut.  and i even promise to settle most of my financial problem , but unfortunately it lost and I was panting heavily when it Lost, because I knew the opportunity I once had to cashout but I left it instead, hoping I could win. every risk comes with its responsibility. Small risks don’t take much from your emotions as much as big risks would. When you bet small , you are at the advantage of losing just a small potion of your income which you can cover within a short period of time but when you bet in big money, the stakes become high and that could also raise your adrenaline levels which you may not want to happen so the best thing is bet moderately and bet what you can afford to lose and not taking too much risks on.

I think it should be normal for those who make bets that they can't easily afford to lose, I can't say for sure because I never do that. I only make bets that I know are of amounts that I can afford to lose, so even if I lose, it is not that big of a matter for me, so my heartbeat doesn't increase because of a bet I make. Sometimes such things might happen when you are watching a match that becomes too serious and close, and the side you are supporting might win or lose, but that doesn't happen because of a bet you've made, it happens because of the love and support you have for the team that is about to lose the game.

So based on my understanding and knowledge, I think such things only happen when a bettor makes a bet larger than they should be making, which means that they know deep inside that they can't afford to lose this money, and then they also understand that despite the fact that luck doesn't always intervene in sports betting, it is still a type of gambling and they can lose the bet as much as they can win it, and with all these thoughts running through their mind, they might feel some volatility in their heartbeat and it is normal for such situations, I would say.

Often times I found myself in this situation not that the amount involved is above what I can afford to lose but it happens when the game is almost at the point of winning them especially if it's a reasonable amount of money then come see my heart beat increased like something strange is happening around me. one of the major things that will make someone who plays a bet to panic because of the bet they placed, is when it use the money that is not supposed to gamble and the place I bet, so you'll be curious to win in order to recover the money, so that is why I do emphasize that we should use what we can afford to lose and  participate in gambling, secondly we also need to gamble with precaution knowing that in gambling if you use what you have not budgeted to gamble with, there is every possibility for you to lose it, so for a gambler not to panic I think the best strategies is for we to gamble with what we can afford to lose and you will see a such a gambler not to have a heartbeat when it placed its bet...

When you risk higher than the usual that's when it happens.

For me I can say it's normal. Risk is involved, you are not going to be happy if you lose. Your brains gets cold and you begin to think what happens next when you end up losing after taking a bold risk.

But this should not be a problem if you are confident enough in your gambling. When I notice my heart begins to raise, what I simply do is to avoid checking on my bets for a long time.i keep myself busy so I don't over think and get tensed up by the bets.

Yes it has happened to me. It mostly happens when I have too much expectation on the bet I made. This is the reason why people should not put their hope on the games we pick unless we are ready to hear the consequences of doing so. I want to believe that we have matured gamblers or bettors.
