Like the subject says. It’s a question, have you ever placed a bet and noticed that your heartbeat has drastically increased, like you can literally hear your heartbeat from inside your chest, hands begin to shake and your countenance completely changed even before the game is decided?
This happens to me whenever I make a bet that’s just too huge, so I wanna know is it normal or is it just me who experiences this.
Please, before someone comes to tell me about how to only gamble for fun or to bet what I can afford to lose, I know that already, I just wanna know if there’s someone else who experiences the same thing or if it’s just me.
You are not alone in experiencing this, biologically these feelings are very normal. So what you feel when you place a big bet is your body's response, so I'd be lying if I said I've never experienced something like that. Adrenaline dumps are very normal in the human body and will feel like that when faced with great risk. That's why you only feel this way when you bet large amounts, but when you place a small bet, you feel more relaxed and as if nothing happened.
Even Luis Enrique, when PSG played in the UCL final, definitely had his heart rate increase to 140 beats per minute, but the difference is that he has experienced this too often, so his hands don't shake when substituting players.
