With all the talks and expectations around a possible Base token, I started watching the ecosystem more closely. Mostly I am looking at protocols that are already in the top by user activity, not just random small tokens with no real usage.
My current idea is simple: if hype around a Base token really starts, part of the liquidity may flow into the strongest Tier 1 tokens inside the Base ecosystem.
So I am thinking about choosing 1–3 tokens from the most active Base protocols and making a small bet on them before the bigger narrative starts.
Of course, this is only a hypothesis. Maybe the market will not react like that, or maybe most attention will go only to the Base token itself if it ever launches.
