Farming account & abusing merit after connected was Detected

Few months ago, 13 connected accounts were caught, and all of them were ruined at the same time. Recently, it appears that after the Legendary-ranked account Dr.Osh received a red trust rating, an attempt is being made to build up a new account again and start misusing merits.

One more important piece of information:
When those accounts were caught, he was also being caught on his second home, Altcointalks, because he had started using AI there. Dr. Osh is not only involved with connected accounts here, he is also (Ai post) to issues on his second home altcointalk, where his misconduct has already been exposed. He is not doing these shady activities only here, but also carrying out the same kind of behaviour on Altcointalk as well.

History of account farming and merit abuse:

Recently, I have brought another example of misconduct to everyone's attention. On the new account, as many as 50 merits were sent to posts that are generally low quality and do not appear deserving of merit. Sending such a large number of merits to undeserving posts is clearly an abuse of the merit system.

AakZaki, it was because you reported the connected accounts that it became possible to expose this masked wrongdoer once again. It is quite clear that there are more accounts belonging to him on the forum. Personally, I would also like to the attention of DT members, as you did, so that appropriate action can be taken regarding these accounts.

Once they gain negative trust, they'll move their activity to the other forum.

Judging from the post history, SpongeS is definitely an alt account, though I'm not sure if it's linked to Dr. Osh at the moment. This may be the case but not sure. If you look closely, you will also see how many merits were sent to this ordinary post of mine after the report was made. I was quite surprised to see that.

The account is not limited to Games and Rounds. A closer look shows that he is trying to get into signature campaigns. He has been applying for campaigns since the account reached 100 merits.

Unfortunately, trust feedback are not reviewed regularly, or some signature campaign managers don't. There was a discussion about this, but I don't recall a resolution being reached.

Some discussions are not good to be lift without resolution. If someone can switch with his or her rank and activity from BTT to ALTT then the person’s full account identify should follow with him or her to the other forum, since BTT and ALTT forum has decided to have a connection then it should be done properly.
If a member is identified as a scammer in BTT with good evidence or proof and for that reason a negative feedback was given to him or her in BTT, if he teleports his or her account to ALTT he or she should go with same identity or negative feedback and not just same rank and activity.

Why did you leave your earned merit status blank? That's usually one of the first things campaign managers look at.

Right. The only time SpongeS has posted outside games and rounds, gambling board and signature campaign applications was on a thread relating to Dr.Osh (which he got 50 merits for btw). The account hasn’t posted in reputation ever since, I don’t expect to see him on this thread either.

That's strange behavior by anyone but we should also keep in mind that some people in past also tried to sell their merits to newbies for money that might be the case with Dr.Osh or he's just trying to build list of ranked accounts where he might be planning to use AI to create posts and that might be the reason why his alt account is trying to be part of signature campaigns.

I'm not sure about that possibility. If there is a chance of buying and selling Merits in this case, I'm sure that account wouldn't leave a negative tag on @SpongeS's account.
@SpongeS has never been active on the reputation board before. But suddenly, that account commented on @Dr.Osh's case. I think there are a few possibilities: first, it could really be an alt account. Second, maybe @SpongeS actually has a personal issue with @Dr.Osh.

This is clearly abuse of merit , it also proves that how much a user holds their S merit. I try to always sent merit thus bearly have some smerits. To our surprised osh sent a negative feedback to sponges which could be deliberately done to create a question and escape this kind of situation. If I were not to trust a person why would I sent chunk of merit to that user.

Dr Osh is playing a mad man role in this situation, he also sent OP some merit lol. So he could have prove that he is sending his S merit randomly any number of user's without thinking anything. But I don't think a incident can be happen twice coincidentally.

Thanks for pointing this out FinneysTrueVision. Those accounts are certainly alt accounts and are being used to cheat contests even up to now. The post on similar threads. I don't know why contest managers put the bar so low for cheats by letting newbie accounts participate

After all of his scandals have been exposed, it can now be said with complete confidence that, while trying to create a new account, he could not wait and immediately sent his merits in an attempt to bring the new account to Full Member rank and join a signature campaign. It is also clear that he is doing these things deliberately in order to mislead and confuse us.

You have brought up another point that makes the situation look even more suspicious. The interesting part is that these accounts did not start doing these things recently. They have been involved in this kind of behaviour for quite some time and have already received warnings in the past.

To be honest, after submitting this report post, I was not paying much attention to it for a while. Later, when saw the notification showing that he had sent so many merits to this post, I was quite surprised. My guess is that he got upset and decided to send all of his sMerits to this post. I honestly never expected a post like this to receive that many merits.

Dr.Osh's actions seem to follow a carefully planned manipulation strategy. By sending a large amount of merit to SpongeS, he created the impression that he was simply trying to distract attention and shield his other accounts.

That may have been only a smokescreen. The merit transfers appear to be part of a broader scheme aimed at enabling more serious misconduct. This could also explain why he sent you a substantial amount of merit, either to involve you in the same network or to ensure that suspicion would eventually fall on you as well.

I don't think so. TokenTikas was the one who exposed the cheating, and the thread was quite deserving of merit, and someone also gave it to him.
Regarding Dr.Osh who gave 29 Merits to OP, I think that's part of his frustration, because OP is still revealing about him.

I'm sure that fool can't do it anymore sending a lot of merit, considering that the merits sent are already a lot while he never gets them again.

There may be a slight misunderstanding here. The reason I said that is because I genuinely believe that TokenTikas was still uncovering Dr.Osh's secrets, and Dr.Osh responded by sending a large amount of merit to TokenTikas in an attempt to make other DT members suspicious of him as well.
