It doesn't seem like that person would normally come to give merit because of the scene of the scam, But what surprised me was that, shortly after the misconduct was brought to everyone's attention, I noticed they had sent a large number of merits to the reported post. I can't say for sure why those merits were sent, but my guess is that those were the last smerits left in the account, so out of frustration, the person decided to send them all at once.
