This happened to me last night. I had a very bad run, like literally my whole bankroll was gone so I decided to self-exclude so I will never touch that casino again. It is just one casino only and I chose to self-exclude for one year. How about the gamblers here, if you decide to self-exclude how long do you usually apply it for? 1 month, 6 months, 1 year, or lifetime?

By the way, even though I self-excluded from this one casino, I can still access other crypto casinos, so it does not really feel like a full self-exclusion.

Did you only do a self-exclude for one casino? And you're still gambling at other casinos? 
I guess what you're doing is just avoiding playing at the casino where you lost big. If that's the case, you could just never go there again, because maybe you weren't lucky with that casino. But also pay attention to your VIP level at that casino. Or you could transfer to another casino that actually has that service.

I can go for self-exclusion on my own without going for self-exclusion on any gambling site. I have not gone for self-exclusion before for this reason.

But for people that are unable to do it without the gambling site can do as you did, but the best self-exclusion should be from your mind, and it indicates you are able to control your gambling activities.

Also it is good to bet with little amount of money.  The last one I bet on was Portugal to win despite that I did not want to bet on any world cup match, but they draw. It was with s little amount of money that I can afford to lose.

Depending on how sad I am, if I really lost all my money and regret it a lot, then maybe I would choose the maximum.

Because the moment you decide to self-exclude, that means you already see that you are addicted to gambling and if you continue, it will only ruin yourself, so it is a good decision, but nowadays with a huge number of casinos online, I doubt self-exclusion will help a lot.

I'm quite controlled to be honest, I only bet what I can afford in a single bet or in a day, and if I lose everything I had available, I wait a day before betting again
I might not bet the next day if I don't find any bets with good odds, or if there aren't any games that interest me, but it doesn't usually last very long

A pretty bad lose could really make anyone do the same bro. I didnt self exclude yet whenever I feel I was always losing cause thats how iy is. Maybe just staying away frim the casino site for a while and let it cool down for quite sometime.

I don't see what you did as self exclusion because you will still use other casinos. Do you think that it was the casino that made you run at big loss because if you continue to gamble with the money that you cannot afford to lose in other casinos, you will still run at big loss. Therefore, how many more casinos will you be self excluded.

Best thing is to do it manually, and don't login to the casino because you might want to use the casino in no time and that will affect you from using the casino.

Where one self excludes himself from one casino and can still access other casinos, that not self exclusion, I mean it doesn't make any sense to even self exclude from the casino, you should or could have simply taken a break on your own instead than choosing to use the self exclude feature on the casino, why is because you might still continue playing on other casinos, and a very good opportunity may come out from the casino you self excluded from which you should taken advantage of to make some money for yourself, but you discover you won't be able to because your self exclusion is not yet expired.

Through out my gambling experience, I have seen or had experiences that could lead me to easily apply to be self excluded from the casino I was playing at the time but I didn't apply because I found it very unnecessary due to the availability and access to other casinos I still had, so what I usually will do is take a break on my own, and since I am not a gambling addict, I can choose to stay away from gambling for as long as I want, like the last time I had a serious bad loss, I stopped gambling for more than one year without self exclusion from any casino, I stopped gambling to enable me work, recover and replace the money that i lost and that I did before I decided to start gambling again.

Yes self-exclusion will come to my though I might not click the self-exclusion button from the casino it there is any but I will not visit the casino (s) for so.e times before going back again and the ti.e is unknown. That is just an emotional decision, because if you are in the right mind ^{(that time)}, you would not do that, especially if you have been using that casino for a while, you will think twice before clicking that button. So for us to not be in that situation, we have to be careful and always stay in control of ourselves, I cannot remember thinking of self-exclusion even after a loss, even a bad loss, because gambling is fun and self-exclusion feels like missing the fun.

Self exclusions  really  does  help post especially  when you're having  a bad run, and I also like the idea of some betting  platforms  that allow  you to self exclude  just a specific  section  if I'm having  a bad run with the slot machine  I just exclude  the slot machine  section  and move to the sport betting  and it work just fine. Currently  I am on 3 months self exclusion on the virtual  games  and slot machines right now I only enjoy  staking  on the world  cup real sport games and not just any simulataled  games. I think self exclusion  is a good introduction  and I think excluding  your self from a particular  casino  for at least a month is just  enough  to get your head back and not be emotional  about your gambling.

I was going to ask what about your other casino, but saw you stated already about them. Ideally gamblers who self exclude themselves from casino usually try to avoid playing but it's very difficult. We have countless number of casino out there, you could just sign up on any new one as they will not be able to link your current self exclusion data to their data base. I think this should be something casinos should consider if they really do want the self exclusion feature to function properly. There should be away to tell from a new user record, if he had previously self excluded himself from other casino and prevent him from registering a new account with them. The time frame could depend on the reason or the circumstances behind the self-exclusion. I have self-excluded myself from several casinos for a lifetime. These are casinos I had some bad experiences with. Mainly, I assume that their games are not fair. I have also had to exclude myself from other casinos for months because I needed to put myself in order. This happened when I consistently chased losses, and it became evident that I might encounter financial problems if I continued.

That’s the problem: in the end, you have no choice but to control yourself. I don’t even consider self-exclusion because I don’t have that sort of problem, but for people in your situation, if self-exclusion from one casino doesn’t work because you end up gambling at others, you’ll ultimately have no choice but to seek professional help.

If ever I will experience this bad lose that literally way above my allocated budget for gambling, I believe I will need to recover first financially through my source of income before I can start considering gambling again.

I use temporary self-exclusion regularly now to avoid being tempted to frequently gamble since I have some eye condition that needs to have limited screen time now.

Then I just temporarily lift it when there’s an exclusive bonus that has good rewards since self exclusion lift only have 1 day cooldown to start playing.

Even though it was long ago, I still cant get out of my mind two huge losses that I had. I have lost 300 or 400 bucks in crash game , then immediately made similar bet again and lost it next second. After that I immediately closed tab in mobile browser and locked my phone. I think it took few days when I opened casino and checked sports bets, and I think it took weeks or month (I dont clearly remember that, maybe reason was that there was no sports event to bet) before I made next bet. I cant say I thought about self-exclusion, but for sure taking a pause from wasting money was popular idea in my head. I find it easy to take a pause from gambling or something else. I am not a person that need to take serious action like turning on self-exclusion feature to stop gambling.

I like going on self exclusion by myself with doing it on any casino gambling site, what is the point of going on self exclusion on the other casino while using the other one , probably you feel unlucky with the other casino , whenever I lose so much ,I like doing it on my own probably for a month or more just to bounce back from my loses, but whereas you self exclused yourself from one casino them went further to another casino means you are not really ready to work on your mental health, because you need a break not from one casino but for yourself to heal from all your loses .
