The technical board is one place that core bitcoin technical aspect is being discussed and also a place where people come to seek solutions to bitcoin related issues and at such is a very sensitive board. It is not a place to go and speculate, give uninformed ideas or proffer solutions of which you have little or no knowledge since one wrong information can lead to a serious financial loss.
Of course you can ask a question it would be appreciated as it would be obvious you're on a learning quest and you should know the difference between a question and an assertion.

Many times I see users, especially newbies dragged to this thread (Users who spread false/fake/unhelpful information on technical board) and given neutral tags which reflects their poor contributions on the technical board. Of course there may be false positives, but it is worse and indicting when you have little or no idea on the subject of discussion and just use AI to post mindlessly without first verifying the effectiveness of such claims by yourself or when you are just repeating or rephrasing a previous contribution. I have been misunderstood and taken there, but I went ahead to clear myself since I was sure of my contributions.

There are various reasons you shouldn't post unverified info on the technical board which includes, but not limited to:

• Your suggestion could make an unsuspecting user loose funds of which is irreversible
• Low quality contributions would see visitors loose confidence to find solutions here in the forum
• It reduces the quality of the technical board
• Incorrect wallet-related configuration can compromise security of funds.
• Misleading procedures can break compliance and cause delayed or failed transactions.

To be able to contribute accurately on technical board, you should first commit to the learning curve of bitcoin tech aspect with proper practicals long enough to be very informed, in order to contribute meaningfully on such board. Most people wrongly assume that since they've tech backgrounds, they are automatically qualified to contribute there which is wrong. Bitcoin technology is a different learning path which you must grasp properly before you can contribute meaningfully on tech boards.

Here are some helpful tips to learn bitcoin tech aspect.

• Commit to reading threads on the technical boards of interest, practice some of the concepts learned, including using specific wallets for practices for experience sake, you can always find meaningful information hanging over there

Sometimes there are things we think and believe it's true until it's proven otherwise.
Many people make the mistake of thinking you have to be technically buoyant to make contribution to the forum

 No board deserves to get low, unverified content but I understand why the technical board seems to be the focal point. Most times, users especially newbies want to get a form of relevance in the forum so they feel that posting threads with little to no research or with the use of AI makes them get the attention they seek, unfortunately, the misinformation costs more than just others being misled. I was posting rubbish very before, but I remember I asked Leo the books that I can read which really helped me. It is good to try as much as possible not to make mistake on the technical board, but shits happens at times which other members can correct. If you are contributing, they know. Although, not the kind of mistake that will lead to loss of coins.

But some people are just posting rubbish with the help of search engines and AI.

But for search engines most times, your are kinda exposed to just a single fraction of that information at a time unlike AI that gives you a collection of multiple answers.

I don't get why people use AI to post in the tech boards. Well, perhaps it's to farm for merit, but to me it's really stupid. It's like using google translate to write in local boards, of course the "native speakers" will notice.

I think another issue I've seen there is that, people tend to hide their factual claims behind the guise of an "opinion". Users should be careful about their wording, and if you aren't 100% sure about what you write in the tech boards, then it's better to just stay away from it.

You are right, a few days ago, a poster was busted for using an AI-generated post on the meta board, which was very wrong of that member to do so here. Although the account is a low-rank account, the account was trying to pass on information that was good, but it used an AI-generated post for it.

It seems the newbies do not take the time to read about the platform and mode of engagement, so they do not make any silly mistakes while being a member, otherwise they will not be doing all this rubbish here just to prove a point.

It's very annoying when someone does that. They calling their false technical information as "opinion" and accuse me for tagging them due to "opinion", rather than giving proof information they share is actually correct.

Newbies can post inaccurate information, and it's very acceptable. Who do actually request newbies have to know correct information especially technical one?

It seems to be unacceptable when newbies try to use their posts, threads in Technical boards for spamming and trying to get merit. That means posting like this is very unnatural, and it is merit incentivized or money incentivized. It's in return natural on how community members are against it and in general you can consider such posting style is very discouraged here.

With actual newbies, they don't do that so they don't need your advice too while with farmers they will not care of your advice.

Not the intention of my messsage, Although there are certain boards you can discuss ideas based on perception, like the speculation board, We cannot deny that the technical board is a sensitive one, and all idea shared there should be verified.

I agree, opinions should be at least relevant to the discussion and not a hideout for obvious misinformation. Some newbies might give excuses that they are learning, but honestly, you don't learn by teaching, you learn by reading, observing and asking relevant questions.

I think they are chasing to get merits that's why they do all of those things, but those new people here should now that copy/pasting the word generated by Ai is not really helping them.

Since if they look at the other people doing that gets in trouble. So much better if they do research to learn lots of technical matters about Bitcoin or even with other things. Since if they became knowledgeable individual for sure that they can discuss helpful matters on that board.

I was thinking that this post belong to the Meta board considering how important it is but when I realized that most of the people who post garbage are newbies and so lower rank members, I think this board is fine for this discussion. The technical board is important to the forum because any misinformation there might have direct economic consequences just like you rightly said. Therefore it is important to be sure that what is posted there are verified and reliable.

I even agree with your first argument. This forum is open, there's always validation from every user, so don't be afraid to keep trying to contribute. Agree on this will affect a lot of people who have read if the information is not true or half bake meaning not tested only in theory, since its technical board it should be verified and works so that people will not suffer on a thing that thought is true but not working in actual.
There should really a separate topic or thread for testing and unverified technical things, so that it will not mixed up with other, because if those get mixed up things might get bad on others that follows it.

Since my joining this forum, I have tried to limit my movement and post to what I understand and don't go beyond that so that I don't mislead others and myself. I do more of reading and observation and I try so much to broaden my knowledge scope in the process. I believe others should have same aim besides trying to advertise their products and services and mislead others with false unverified information.
It's been a challenge really but when it comes to the technical board or meta or some other boards, I just strictly observe and read to understand instead of make a comment and that's how best a wise person should learn instead of trying to act wise by providing false information that is misleading.

That is why we see very less engagement on Technical Board . Still we found some engagement that's are  highly generated from AI. I remember a time , I did asked a question on technical thread a user's exactly replied as ai sent me the answer. Idk why they do think we can't use AI and don't know AI how to use it. I don't think so. On search engine you will find article from various author, not everyone writing would be same . But almost every AI platform sents you similar response which could be mosleading. Also you might fiund some platform regarding a technical question where some user's actively joined discussion and shared their problem. So yeah if anyone dig deep woth search engines they could have find some real value at the end.

There is also possibility that AI can still be of help, but there can also be a misinformation from AI. Not very different from search engines that you can see good information, but also see bad information. I have used AI that gave me accurate information before while another AI gave me misinformation. If you do not understand me, I mean in given information, both the search engines and AI can give misinformation at times which is very true.
