It is not even about technical board when it comes to posting on this forum, we are not expected to make a post where we have nothing to contribute, zero thoughts is not advisable and such could be termed as spamming because you are not passing a prose any vital information through what you placed as content, this place would have not been as this tidy if we have numerous spammers everywhere.

It also apply to other boards not only the technical section. Users should not post unverify information on the forum, because it may mislead newbies and other forum users who inexperienced. Users should be sure of what they are posting on the forum, and just as @Mia Chloe has stated already users should stop taking informations from Al and post on the forum without verifying if the information is correct.
There was a day I asked Al a question, although I can't really recore the question but all I can remember is that the question was based on the technical aspect of Bitcoin, since I am not that good on technical things I had to ask @Mia Chloe for clarification. And gest what? out of 100% of things Al said only 60% is partly correct, while the remaining 40% is not correct at all.
That day I came to understand that you need to be technical skilled to post on the technical section, if you are not technically skilled and you go post on the technical section you're going to be posting garbage, and those are technically skilled can spot you out easily.

I think you should have said “Do not post unverified information on this forum” putting it to only technical board would mean to newbies that they can actually post unverified information on other boards apart from technical board, and again I will like to say this, if you see any unverified information posted by anyone in any board report that post to moderators so they can have it deleted. Unverified information has no place in bitcoin talk forum, not even in off topic so repost any post you are sure is an unverified information.

Sincerely when I saw the caption I was like seems this person do not know what the forum is all about because whatever information that is being posted on the forum that do not have a source link or being verified are worth tagging or however to be facing an a penalties for disseminating such information to the community. At least before any information should be shared let there be a source link or an authentication place where to read from.

Spammers are indeed everywhere and spammers are more concerned with the quantity of posts they will create without caring about quality at all. If some discussions provide a little information, but the effort to make the thread or post is good enough, then it cannot be called a garbage post. When we look at the past, where many posts were really spammed like collecting social media airdrop tasks with a lot of spamming posts. I've done it in the past and it's really become garbage. Now if you want to make a post that is a little technical, of course there must be verification first and see from many references that the Thread is technically correct.

The concept should have been don't spam the forum since this is beginners board and since it's made for newbies and others who are new to some information. However, I understand OP concern because as it stand right now, some users aren't lenient with how users spread misinformation about Bitcoin, this is not only dangerous to the forum but also to outsiders that are coming here to get adequate information, imagine if a newbie say "we should share private keys with people", that's dangerous. I will also like that kind of gesture be spread to other board like Bitcoin discussion, the rate at which that board is spam with unnecessary information, Bitcoin this, reason to buy Bitcoin, why you should understand Bitcoin, all these topics are not necessary, they have been discussed earlier on and it's increasing spams on the board. If that scrutiny is extended to the Bitcoin discussion board, trust me spam will die off naturally.

Since beginners come to boards like the beginner and bitcoin discussion more often than even the technical board, the gesture should be shared across the entire forum because no one can tell which board a beginner is going to first, and sharing misinformation will mislead them, and I can see that some desperate newbies who are willing to rank up are the victims of sharing this misinformation just for merits. We all need to take it upon ourselves and share only verified information about Bitcoin or just ask questions to get more clarity instead of sharing unverified information in the forum.

Misinformation in any form is wrong. Even in the gambling board, where there are no serious technical discussions, sharing false information can cause serious problems. A newbie might be carried away by a false claim, which might make him gamble more than he can afford to lose. This might lead to gambling addiction that can affect the financial, relationship, and work of an individual. Those who spread false information in technical boards are punished. Maybe such close monitoring should be applied to other boards because none deserve to be filled with false information. It also apply to other boards not only the technical section. Some of the information from AI might be outdated. This is because the Bitcoin space is dynamic. Information from AI should be verified before sharing. The sources that are referenced by these tools should be studied to identify loopholes or old information.

I actually see no reason why beginners who don’t know about something will do small research and decide to share what they don’t even understand! Learning in an instant only gives them hint on how it works but not to understand everything at that instant, but some beginners will use AI to browse and get some information that might not be legit and they will decide to share it to the general public which is very wrong because this is a forum where we verify information before we use it, and thanks to the higher rank members who always make follow up the information and make it safe for the forum users. No matter what, misinformation is very bad, it can lead someone to lose of money easily because Bitcoin market is volatile and crypto is digital, no account for any mistake.

Posting unverified information could be misleading to others because we are not also true of the source on what we are posting, posting on reliable information could also be termed as spamming because we are not sure of the source or how genuine such information is, we should also understand that this platform is intended to engage people about bitcoin discussion together with any other crypto and not to serve as the same random social Media platforms.

People can not know about everything and it's normal and acceptable when people post genuine questions, the community will not have problems with that. It becomes annoying if people try to play around by creating useless threads while they know well about source of information, whether the information is inaccurate and bad in quality. When they create such useless threads, their purposes are not about genuine discussions or learning, it's for spamming.

This group of people who post unverified information on the technical board really don't care. It is quite bad that some of them do not know that they've been wrong all along, and that the knowledge they think they have,is incomplete or total shit. Extra workload will be given to the moderators. They just have to keep deleting such posts or threads that are misleading, incomplete, or totally low quality for such a high-value board. That is the only way the technical board can be kept clean. Agree with me or not, many won't stop flooding the technical board with spam and shitposts. It is our duty to report such posts or threads once we see them.

More reason posters are to first verify their contents, possibly from several sources before bringing it over here, because this is a global forum, and you don’t know just how many people that are seeing your posts, and if someone eventually gets misled by the information you shared, then it’s definitely going to be on you, and if such matters are brought up, you could get penalized, which wouldn’t be such a great thing for your reputation here.

That’s right. Misinformation, once shared can spread very rapidly, especially in online communities as this one with millions of users. Verifying facts before sharing it may seem like a simple step but it is very crucial, if you want to maintain trust and also keep discussions reliable and authentic. And this is the very reason why accuracy should always come before speed. People should prioritize taking some extra time to review and verify the information they receive, even if the source may appear to be reliable, because the moment it leaves your hand and is shared, it suddenly becomes a tool and material that others can use or rely on.

This feels like its okay to post unverified information on any other board. First thing that came my mind too. No board deserve unverified information. Beginners and help board in my opinion is the most visited board by newbies asking series of questions and should be prioritised too. Most new users make their post here before it's being moved to appropriate board by mod. Unverified information posted anywhere can mislead readers. Sometimes there are things we think and believe it's true until it's proven otherwise. Then the best thing to do in that case is to ask question first, make more research from different source instead of rushing to publish it in public space. Many people make the mistake of thinking you have to be technically buoyant to make contribution to the forum Find a section you good at and help contribute not preventing the fact you can grow from learning about other board.
Op post emphasised on the technical board due to high volume of low quality posts in the technical board. You don't have to be technically buoyant to make contribution in the forum but you have no reason to posting on the technical board if you have little knowledge on technical aspects of Bitcoin. There's nothing wrong if you're posting to ask questions but there's everything wrong if you post like pro with the help of AI tools.

It is very important that one do a proper verification on any sensitive information before relayi it to the public because any slight mistake or wrong information might lead to serious damage which can not be easily recovered. Unverified information has caused people assets and also lives too because some people tend to act upon information immediately as they receive it without doing any thorough check with the notion that the source where it is coming from is genuine not knowing that the source too is not sure of their source and sometimes such situations lead to a big mess. And if anything goes wrong, you definitely have lost your credibility and integrity.

Why would i wanna waste my time advising a shitposter not to shitpost? Like what i have to say to them is gonna make any difference lmao 😂. They are not gonna stop, it’s hardwired into most of them.
Personally, i honestly would prefer that they keep shitposting cos that is what is gonna make them get caught; please don’t advice them to stop please, c’mon now where’s the fun in that?🥲 If they stop they are less likely to leave any evidence behind that is gonna lead to them getting caught.
Leave them, let them continue to shitpost so they can get caught red handed eventually and weeded out of the forum by the mods. It’ll save everyone else a lot of time and effort.

The forum, in general, is where people come to read, learn, and share. If the information here is wrong, it will mislead us into thinking those information's are true based on the reputation the forum has. Stopping unverified information shouldn't be limited only to the technical board. Let it be mandatory that unverified information should not be posted in all the boards concerning the forum.
It's okay to be sarcastic, and it's okay to joke about a lot of things, because it's a discussion forum. Of course, there will be a little bit of fun. However, if the information is labelled vital while it turns out to be false, it will raise a concern, and such a poster might receive the consequences of misleading the public.
