All you are saying is true, people try to impress people forgetting that being themselves is actually the best way to navigate a sensitive place like this forum. The moment someone is pretending to be what they are not, it will not take long for people to get the clear picture and that will only breed more problems for such person. I think that is even the main reason some people resort to using AI and thereby put their account at the risk of being banned. Being original and confident is always the best approach and will enable the user to grow naturally.

I don't blame them, the system wants them to be that way. You see there is a rule and regulations on the forum and there are consequences to them if you break them, so they try to act in accordance to rule, even the people that does not understand the basic part of Bitcoin pretend to know about it which is why from their post you will know that they are trying to know something but they don't know it because they are forcing it the knowledge in their write up.

What every newbies is expected to do is to make sure that you learn first, understand the little you can even if it's not the complex part, it will make the forum easy for you and it will be fun to flow together with rest of the people in the forum. A place where you can have fun and do things that you want with others or a place where you want to have fun with other people but you don't understand the language but you have to pretend, choose 1 for yourself.

Please do not post unverified wrong information. When i give feedback to such account account, i usually give neutral feedback.

I wish he can also do same in other board.

It is interesting that no matter how anyone pretends to be smart when in reality they are not, they will keep exposing themselves and that is very risky for someone who wants to grow his account in the forum. It is common to see them committing blunders here and there, and joining discussions on topics they know nothing about. All to impress people for merits and positive feedbacks.

It is better to ask questions on something you are not sure about, than relying on AI tools for answers, then come back to this forum to teach people what they learnt from AI; knowledge that is not verified to be accurate. I love how people who do that are filtered out and given the neccessary tags they deserve for sharing misleading contents in the forum, especially on the technical boards.

Some users just genuinely wants to help without knowing they are sharing a wrong information to other users in the forum. Probably the user may have got the information from a wrong source. If such user is identified for the first time it will not be wrong to call their attention about how dangerous such wrong information can spread. Where they do not change by learning to verify before sharing again in other times, then the tag could be very okay by conscience, cause it shows it is in their character to be doing that

I’m not a DT member, all I can do is to be reposting the posts to moderators so they can delete it.

Sharing unverified information on the technical board is misinformation. Misinformation is different from disinformation because misinformation is spread unintentionally. Meaning the person who is sharing the information is not sharing the information with the intention to harm the next person but because it is unverified and the person is also not grounded with the knowledge he is presenting, he has just misinformed the people. Disinformation however is when someone shares wrong or false information with the intention to harm the people receiving the information. It is very intentional and ill-fated. I can say 70% of people sharing wrong information in the technical board are doing it without any intention to harm anyone but they are doing it out of lack of in depth understanding of what they are sharing. So the advise is if you Dont have in depth technical knowledge on something, you do not have to share it on the technical board so you don’t end up sharing false knowledge and tips .

Like I usually say, this forum is a citadel of Bitcoin education and only those who are willing to learn can grow and go far here on this platform. Sharing wrong and unverified information can lead to colossal loss which no one wants to experience which is why the mods and admin are really working to making sure things are done appropriately. The technical board is a very sensitive and important board, it is more like the engine of the room where technical aspects of Bitcoin, forum and other sensitive matters pertaining the platform are discussed so anyone making a comment there should be very sure of what they are saying so they don't get things messed up.

Do you think it is only on technical board that people share false information?
Even in this board people also share false information, there are some things that people usually don’t verify very well before posting it across every board.

Sometimes they actually think that what they are saying is correct but it is not, for example you just said the forum does not permit the use of Ai content, that’s not actually true, Ai content is permitted but you need to use it the right way.

It is very good you verify something very well before saying it.

I have said it before the reason some users trying to teach or say what they have zero knowledge about is because of merit.

Why are we changing the topic discussion. The topic is about people that goes to technical board to wrote super stories that are off topic, it has nothing to do with people that has technical knowledge or knows nothing about Bitcoin. You can hold Bitcoin without any indept technical knowledge, if you know how to secure your seed phrase and passphrase, you have no problem but don't go to that board and say things you don't know, you might not get banned but you will likely get tagged for spreading misinformation.

Aside from that board restrictions of off topics and discussion for newbies, if you know about Bitcoin and the technical knowledge about Bitcoin, it's a big flex for you in the forum and outside the forum. When you meet other people online or offline the forum and they try to lie to your face, you will know they are lying and if they are trying to teach others and they make mistake, you can correct them, there is no knowledge that is a waste.

In some of the reports I've seen on that thread, some users got their posts reported already and deleted by the moderators, but sadly, most of them don't even know why their posts were deleted and the continue bluffing on tech boards. I don't think he makes those reports on first posts.

It is important every information you post on such a sensitive board is verified since it may lead to loss of funds. Getting it from a random source is not the problem, it becomes a problem when you have no knowledge of what you're saying and you post it as a helpful contribution.

It would be better when users seek clarification on things they see from other sources. When it is presented as a form of inquisitiveness or a question, it is not a problem, knowledgeable members would clear them on that.

However the ideal scenario should be on making a post that is worth posting, I don’t really understand why people post things that isn’t necessary in a place they’ve no knowledge about, for better reference purposes it’s just better to stick to posting where we can be making a meaningful contribution, instead of hunting for merit, because I’m completely sure that some people goes to the technical board to post things just because they feel like they can get some merits there, but how do you post when you have no idea of what is being talked about, and they might end up going to get assistance from Artificial Intelligence’s, which is highly prohibited in the forum, and I don’t think we should only emphasize on the technical board, It’s applicable to every board, I don’t think it’s possible for an individual to know everything on the forum, so my personal view on this matter would be to only appreciate what we have knowledge and can offer a meaningful discussion.

Others though shared their experience, so in a sense that could be verifying as well. But majority of them are really technically incline. So they can answer it right away plus the years that they might have involved in crypto says it all.

The problem is that there could be newbies who thought that those boards can be posted without any knowledge or without verification. And if they do, then they are being called out. For us, it's ok to go to that board and try to broaden our knowledge but we should be very careful because we could be sharing misleading or unverified information.
