What really refresh us are the good things we feed our bodies, like good words, good foods, fresh air, sufficient rest after hardwork work/exercise etc. It's important to avoid the bad or negatives.

For the past five years or so, every summer in Alberta is filled with wildfire smoke. It's one of the reasons I'm retiring in BC. I learned it's common for throats to relax too much, hence the need to keep the airway open.
