My prediction. Michael Sellor will cause the bottom of this bear market 2026!

@OgNasty. Yes, this certainly implies more Sellor selling hehehe. However, if this will create a new higher local bottom, we should encourage Sellor to dump more bitcoin. A smaller bitcoin treasury for a man like him will be good for the whole bitcoin ecosystem, similar to what was mentioned in Grin's monetary policy documentation.



Inflation may make price more stable

As an experimental hypothesis, Grin's inflation rate may discourage hoarding early on, improving its distribution. Inflation disincentivizes "whales," who have an inordinate amount of control over the price of an asset, and should act to downplay speculative bubbles and price swings. Early adopters get just as much out of grin as those who adopt later. Grin is aiming for as equal access and utility as possible for all users, now and in the future.

Constant emission could provide enhanced supply/demand certainty for all types of users, and allow transparent and natural pricing. Note: Bitcoin becoming widely usable as a method of exchange versus a strict store of value depends on the concept of "Keynesian beauty contests." The experiment is ongoing.

There are already better store of values or "get rich quick" coins

Grin is focused on privacy, scalability and fairness. If groups or individuals "get rich quick," they will have power to influence the entire grin economy more than others. Grin is not for creating technocrats, but for providing private digital cash to as many people as possible. Hoarding is a huge centralization pressure, and grin emission policy hopes to mitigate this.

The idea is to use grin like you use your bicycle, to get you around and make you more efficient, not to store in your garage hoping its value goes up.

Even if such a major player sells BTC via OTC, the crowd will still react negatively once they find out, making emotional trades and thereby triggering a panic sell-off in the short term.

If we compare recent sales, it seems to me that the market reacted more strongly to the announcement of the sale of 32 BTC than to the recent sale of 3,588 BTC.

Doesn't THAT show a genius in Saylor's move which played with the psychology of the market?

 

He probably knew that FEAR and PANIC would happen if he started selling, so he sold a "small amount" to make everyone adapted to the thought that he would sell, making the larger sell amount have lesser impact than the smaller amount.

And the fact that the market reacted more to him selling 32 bitcoins, then him buying 800k+ bitcoins, is the proof that the market is usually wrong. Him as a personal amount plus his company strategy owns 860k bitcoins roughly.

Considering we probably have roughly 17 million total, not 20 million (roughly 3 million estimated to be gone) that means this dude and his company alone has 5% of entire bitcoin in existence. To say that he is not a genius is a very very brave and silly thing to say.

The secret is that Saylor has long been selling not Bitcoin, but identity. While the market is hammering its holders with drawdown charts, he turns the decline into an archetypal storyline: knight versus beast, resilience versus panic (have you seen this neural network video?)
And this works for an audience raised on memes and video games.
In a period when stock indices are hitting new highs every month, people value the feeling of being on the right side of history.
From a marketing perspective, this is a smart move: converting the pain of a bear market into a rallying cry for the community.
That's why Saylor remains Saylor even when the charts aren't in his favor.

He has made declarations that he will not dump bitcoin and everyone should sell their kidneys and keep the bitcoin. If Michael Sellor will continue to dilute Microstrategy stock holders to fund payments for the dividends of STRC holders, it appears that I will be proven to be incorrect on my speculation that the Sellor dumps will occur and cause the bottom of this bear market heheheh.

Strategy (MSTR), the world’s largest corporate bitcoin holder, raised its cash reserve by roughly $225 million last week after selling common stock, bolstering liquidity while leaving its bitcoin holdings unchanged.

Michael Saylor, executive chairman of the firm, said Monday that Strategy now holds a U.S. dollar reserve of $3.225 billion alongside its 843,775 BTC stash.

I think that’s something that happens to all of us. Whether or not you think what Saylor is doing is a good idea, a scenario in which he sells a lot of bitcoin and drives the price down is not in the interests of any of us who hold bitcoin. In theory, if that were to happen, the price would be low and you could take advantage of it to buy more at a low price, but if you already own bitcoin, you’d prefer it to rise in value rather than just being able to buy it cheaply. What’s more, in a very bad-case scenario, you don’t know how long it might take for the price to recover.

As compare to him and his company buying every time they have the money. They have all the advantage on us average joe investors. So in any case, the smart way to do it is just to accumulate regardless of what news on his buying or selling will be in the future.

Saylor, have sailed some of his Bitcoin to become "Sellor" a well deserved name for navigating us to believe that he wouldn't sell, anyway I never really believed his hype about not selling because he is a business man who's interest is supposed to be profit not protecting Bitcoin like it's an endangered species. I wouldn't be surprised if some of his believers actually considered selling one kidney to raise funds to buy Bitcoin because of his "promises" I guess everybody now knows that they shouldn't take anybody's declarations as a 100% fact because circumstances can chalange people to change their minds.

Bitcoin have always recovered and it doesn't matter how dip it goes, Saylor, is dumping now, same Saylor, would still buy back so the market would recover eventually. We're in bear run and should expect what is happening, let us buy as much as we can before bear run that is only what I can suggest to investors, although it's not a financial advice.

It is important to note that buying put options at those levels does not necessarily signal a crash. Big companies that have large long positions in their portfolio are likely to protect themselves using large put option purchases, as well. It is insurance, not necessarily a price direction bet. Saylor sell off story continues to be mentioned, and Strategy have arranged their debt agreements accordingly. To trigger forced forced sale, Bitcoin would need to drop much lower than it is right now and their loan renewal system would have to fail at same time. May be but not the main expectation.
What options data does tell you is that “smart money” is getting paid for price fall protection. If big economy conditions and triggers develop that way or not is a question that will be answered in the coming weeks. Expiring July 31, $52k stocks are far unlikely to profit. It is either true bear or a very low-cost form of large position protection. Knowing that which gathers more importance than just money movements.

See how ironic he is for saying that, he once released those statement what you have said which to flood with many developers to weaken Bitcoin. Then yet here he is saying that he's setting up some funds for developers to help Bitcoin. It seems that his latest statement is self serving and maybe he's trying to impress his shareholders with those statement he release.

Well this expose his playbook and looks like his action is not about trying to help Bitcoin strengthen up, but rather maybe his intention is to control the narrative and try to mask or cover up the past mistakes they have made.

It appears that the whales might be preparing for another dump. We cannot be certain what will be the most lowest bottom for this bear market, however, I predict this will be caused by Michael Sellor's next dump which might be billions of dollars worth of bitcoin!

This shouldn't be new to us because we are already in the bear market, we are expected to see the market fall at any time as well as rise when the trend experience a slight change, this is why if we observe the market closely of recent, we are going to discover much of falling and little rising within the market, because the season tells much about the direction of the market at a particular time, be there for we must be more observant this season to see that we speculate well, so as not to miss out.

I think the bearish season is beginning to stop because I don't see much downward waves like when the price of Bitcoin was $120k plus and it was dropping, the pressure was very massive then but now there is a much different because all I can see for some weeks now is that the market is consolidating around $60k to $67k that is the range the market has been for some time now and I think the next trend will be an up one as regards to where the price came from.
