ForgeMiner — Multi-Algo NVIDIA Miner
NOID · Pearl · Conflux · QubitCoin · Xelis · Cryptix · BTX · KawPow

ForgeMiner is a lightweight, native multi-algorithm NVIDIA miner — currently
NOID (Parano1d), Pearl (pearlhash), Conflux (octopus), QubitCoin (qhash),
Xelis (XEL), Cryptix (CYTX), BTX (btx.dev) and KawPow (Ravencoin / Quai / Neurai),
with more on the way. Competitive hashrate, rock-solid stability, and — unlike some
miners — it is not locked to a single pool. Mine where you want.

⚠ BTX on RTX 50-series: releases before v1.6.4 computed part of the work wrong. Old pools
accepted it; newer pool software refuses roughly one share in four. Update.


⚠ Pearl miners: the network hard-forked at block 98900. Releases before v1.5.10 produce
invalid shares — full hashrate on screen, nothing accepted by the pool. Update.

Turing (RTX 20) and the mining cards (CMP / P10x) need driver 545+.
NOID runs on the RTX 30-series and newer, CMP 90HX included; on a mixed rig older cards sit NOID out and say so, the rest mine it.
Conflux needs about 8.6 GB of video memory (it grows with the chain): 8 GB is not enough, 10 GB is tight, 12 GB and up is comfortable — the miner tells you at startup.

NOID: InnovLab has regional endpoints on port 19601 (eu, eu2, ru, us, us2, hk, hk2), all TLS; Suprnova is plain stratum on noid.suprnova.cc:3339. Typing ssl:// is optional — the miner works it out.


▶ CMP 40HX / 50HX / 70HX / 90HX hardware unlock (Linux)
These boards ship throttled. ForgeMiner unlocks them itself — one command, one reboot,
after that they mine at full speed. Everything is built into the binary, no external scripts.

Add --no-reboot to install or rollback if you prefer to reboot the rig yourself.
Safe to leave --cmp-install in the HiveOS flight sheet permanently — if the unlock is
already active it prints one line and drops straight into mining; on a platform that runs the
miner without root it says the unlock was skipped and mines anyway.
The installer builds for your rig's own kernel — no exact kernel match needed any more. Requires NVIDIA driver 610.43.03.
Only CMP 40HX, 50HX, 70HX and 90HX are affected; every other card in a mixed rig runs untouched.

  • v1.7.1 — NOID hotfix for HiveOS: a TLS pool without the ssl:// prefix (exactly what a flight sheet hands over) now connects straight over TLS, and the one-off "no work" warning is gone. Minor display tidy-ups

  • v1.6.3 — the HiveOS "miner log" button works again and the log stopped eating the rig's memory; the dashboard counts pool drops (drops N, also in the API); Conflux takes its usual name — --algorithm octopus (cfx and conflux still work)

  • v1.5.18 — one card table in both views, share lines show luck; starting without a wallet now stops with a clear message instead of mining to the default pool; the HiveOS archive is named ForgeMiner-<version>-hiveos.tar.gz (the flight-sheet install link is unchanged); every .bat finds forge.exe wherever you keep it
  • v1.5.17 — the RTX 5060 Ti gain from 1.5.16 was not real and is reverted: no shares or payouts were lost, but the number on screen was ~15% too high on Blackwell cards reporting under 12 GiB. So you never have to take our word for it, the miner now shows delivered N% ±M% — accepted shares against the displayed hashrate — and a per-card Pool column. Also: new interface (pinned table, L, --log), one dead card no longer takes down the rig, CMP 70HX +7.5% efficiency, correct difficulty on Xelis, KawPow, Cryptix and QubitCoin
  • v1.5.16 — CMP 70HX unlock, the installer no longer needs an exact kernel match (driver 610.43.03 still required); CMP 40HX +14% hashrate; new --temp-limit / --temp-resume and --oc-delay. ⚠ The RTX 5060 Ti gain claimed in this release was wrong and was retracted in 1.5.17
  • v1.5.15 — built-in hardware unlock for CMP 50HX / 90HX on Linux: sudo forge --cmp-install, one reboot, both cards run at full speed instead of throttled; --cmp-verify and --cmp-rollback included. Plus a plain-output mode for logs, cron and PSEXEC (--no-color / --plain)
  • v1.5.14 — hotfix: the Linux / HiveOS tarballs would not start on older distributions (GLIBC_2.3x not found); rebuilt against glibc 2.17. Same code as 1.5.13, Windows and Docker unaffected

Let's face it: you use github simply as a place to store your files, which gives them a certain kind of legitimacy, but the source code has never been there.

Fair questions — let me answer each directly, no hand-waving.

VirusTotal. Those are exactly the detections every closed-source GPU miner shows, for the same reason. Scan T-Rex, SRBMiner, GMiner, lolMiner or NBMiner on VirusTotal right now and you'll get the same picture. Two things matter: (1) "CoinMiner / HackTool" is a CATEGORY label meaning "this binary is a cryptocurrency miner" — which ForgeMiner openly is — not a finding of malicious code. (2) Look at which engines flagged it: Bkav, CrowdStrike (confidence 70%), SentinelOne (Static AI / Suspicious PE), SecureAge, Huorong. Five engines out of ~70, and every one of them is a heuristic / machine-learning / PE-reputation engine that fires on any packed, unsigned, resource-heavy binary. There is no signature match to a known threat in that list, and the ~65 signature-based engines pass it. This is the well-documented miner false-positive problem, not something specific to us. (And yes — I'm the one who said "feel free to scan it," so I'm not going to complain that someone did.)

Closed source. ForgeMiner is closed-source and we say so on the first line of the README. So is T-Rex. So is SRBMiner, GMiner, lolMiner, NBMiner. For a competitive GPU miner the per-architecture kernels ARE the product; none of the top miners ship them open. GitHub is where we publish releases, release notes, pool presets and the HiveOS integration — the same way T-Rex and lolMiner use their repos. We have never claimed the source is there, so "the source has never been there" isn't a gotcha — it's by design, and stated.

The v1.1.11 to v1.1.12 diff being "just a version number." Of course the public git tree only shows a README change — the source is closed, so what's tracked in git is the README, the batch presets and the release pointers. The actual work in 1.1.12 (first-class Pascal P104 Pearl support, fan control, Windows VRAM-temperature monitoring) ships in the release binaries and is listed in the release notes. That's exactly how a closed project on GitHub looks.

The "ten differences" comparison. That link is a mining CONTROL PANEL / auto-switcher for ZANO/BEAM/EPIC/etc. ForgeMiner is a native CUDA kernel miner for Pearl, QubitCoin and (soon) KawPow — a different category of software. The only thing two miner archives share is the layout every miner uses: an executable, a few .bat presets, a README and HiveOS h-* scripts. That's packaging convention, not shared code.

How to actually verify us instead of guessing: run it on any of the listed pools and watch it submit accepted shares live; the dev fee is stated openly and is checkable on-pool; and compare our VT result side-by-side with T-Rex/SRBMiner. The miner is real and it works — closed, like its competitors, and honest about being so.

Out of curiosity, I did a static analysis of the files in the zipped folder using Claude AI, and I am going to share its response. I know static analysis could miss a thing or two, but I think this is a good start.

When I look at the flags raised by the few antiviruses, I would say it's because they detected the "crypto miner" component

ForgeMiner v1.5.3 is out — Pearl uses less power for the same hashrate, plus three fixes that were costing people shares.

  • Pearl draws less power at the same hashrate. Measured on the same cards at the same clocks against v1.5.2: about 4% better efficiency on RTX 40 and a solid gain on RTX 30
  • Cards under a power limit now get a profile chosen for that case. The miner reads the limit from the driver and decides per card, so a mixed rig no longer runs on one compromise
  • Fix: 8 GB cards on Windows were losing about 4% hashrate. Any card with less than 9.5 GB was assumed not to fit and put into a reduced mode. The miner now checks for real
  • Fix: a custom profile could leave a rig at full displayed hashrate while submitting nothing. Profiles the proof format cannot carry are now refused at startup

ForgeMiner v1.5.4 is out — mandatory update for the Pearl softfork.

The Pearl network forked at block 96251. From that point the bound a share must meet is scaled by the rank.

  • Stay on an older release and you lose half your income. Releases before v1.5.4 keep mining at the old rank and earn half as much for the same hashrate — an eighth for anyone who was at rank 1024. Nothing in the console shows it: shares keep coming, hashrate is unchanged, only the payouts differ
  • v1.5.4 mines at the new rank on Pascal (P104/P106), RTX 30, RTX 40, RTX 50 and A100, and collects the full reward. Nothing to configure
  • Turing (RTX 20), Volta and Hopper stay on the previous rank: they keep working after the fork, at a lower reward
  • Raw hashrate is 1-2% lower — the new rank costs a little more work per share. Income still doubles

Catching the thread up — eight releases since the last post. Two of them are mandatory: 1.5.10 (Pearl hardfork) and 1.5.11 (silent share loss).



ForgeMiner v1.5.8 is out — bug-fix release.

  • Fixed the remaining cause of HiveOS dashboard stats freezing after many hours on multi-GPU rigs. Mining and share submission were never affected — only the dashboard readout. If the stats file cannot be written, the miner now says so once instead of failing silently
  • Fixed the dead Discord invite in the bundled README.txt / README_RU.txt

ForgeMiner v1.5.9 is out — deep optimisation pass on the CMP line, and Pascal / Volta mine again.

  • CMP 50HX — around +19.5% hashrate at the same pinned clock, verified on an eight-card rig against a live pool. Power draw rises by roughly the same amount, so this is a mining-throughput win rather than an efficiency one. CMP boards only — every other Turing card keeps the kernel it had
  • CMP 170HX and A100 — around +17% hashrate and about +15% efficiency against 1.5.8, measured release-against-release on the same card at the same pinned clock. Part of that is a kernel improvement, part a packaging fix: 1.5.8 shipped without the block-path kernels for this architecture, so those cards were quietly running the slower path
  • CMP 90HX — micro-optimisations for stability on its mining path, plus a full eight-card validation run on this build
  • Fixed: since 1.5.5 a Pascal card (P102-100, P104-100) or a Tesla V100 would connect, look healthy and mine nothing — 0.00 H/s on that card, with no error shown. On a mixed rig the other cards kept working, which is why it went unnoticed for four releases
  • Fixed two cases where the miner could run at full hashrate while submitting nothing valid — it now refuses to start and says what to do, instead of failing silently

⚠ ForgeMiner v1.5.10 — Pearl hardfork, every miner must update.

  • Pearl activated a hardfork at block 98900. From that height the network derives share noise differently, and any miner still running the old derivation produces invalid shares — full hashrate on screen, nothing accepted by the pool
  • This release implements the new derivation. If you mine Pearl, update now — older versions will not earn on this chain
  • Nothing else changed: kernels, hashrate and power draw are identical, the fix touches only how the share seeds are derived. Verified two ways — bit-for-bit against the reference test vectors published with the fork, and live against the pool with zero rejected shares

ForgeMiner v1.5.11 — silent share loss on a half-dead pool connection, fixed.

  • Shares could be lost without any trace. If the route to your pool died in one direction — the pool's jobs still arrive, but your submits never reach it — the miner did not notice. Submits piled up unsent in the system buffer while the screen showed full hashrate, 100% accept and zero rejects. The pool, meanwhile, credited only a fraction of the work. On an affected rig this cost up to 90% of the shares until the connection eventually reset itself, minutes later
  • Two independent recoveries now. A stalled connection is dropped within ~25 seconds instead of grinding on for up to 15 minutes, and a new watchdog reconnects when a submitted share goes unanswered for 45 seconds (normal reply latency is well under a second). Both print a clear warning — this failure used to be completely invisible
  • Nothing else changed: kernels, hashrate and power draw are identical

ForgeMiner v1.5.12 — faster 30/40-series cards, and shares that stop disappearing on a bad connection.

  • RTX 40-series: +1.3% hashrate at unchanged power draw. Measured against 1.5.11 in a single interleaved series on one card: 139.92 → 141.78 TH/s, 91 accepted shares, zero rejects
  • RTX 30-series: −1.6% power draw at unchanged hashrate (122.09 → 120.08 W, sign 6 of 6 pairs, confirmed by two independent meters). Both families gain about +1.65% efficiency
  • Shares no longer vanish on a flaky route to the pool. A submitted share is now 26% smaller on the wire, disconnects roughly halve, and the share of submits that actually receive an answer rose from ~40% to ~70% on an affected route
  • TLS now works everywhere. On HiveOS it was previously impossible: the launcher stripped ssl:// from the pool address, so the miner opened a plain connection to a TLS port and reconnected forever. The address is now passed through intact, the miner detects TLS by itself when no scheme is given, and --tls (or FORGE_TLS=1) is accepted for those who prefer to be explicit
  • Disconnects now tell you why — pool closed the connection, read error, or the pool stopped answering submitted shares. A link that was working reconnects in 1 second instead of 5, and the difficulty on screen is the one the pool actually assigned
  • Two identical installations no longer duplicate each other's work, and a pool address with a scheme no longer breaks the non-Pearl coins

ForgeMiner v1.5.14 — hotfix: the Linux / HiveOS binary rebuilt against older glibc.

  • The Linux and HiveOS tarballs failed to start on older distributions with GLIBC_2.32 / 2.33 / 2.34 not found. The 1.5.13 tarballs were built against a newer glibc than the tarballs before them. 1.5.14 restores the previous compatibility floor (glibc 2.17) — any host that ran 1.5.12 will run 1.5.14
  • Windows and Docker are unaffected — the Windows .exe uses mingw and never linked against glibc, and the Docker image was already built against the correct floor

  • One command, one reboot, both cards run at full speed instead of throttled. Run sudo forge --cmp-install once on a Linux rig and forge does the whole thing itself — checks the environment, installs the helper, reboots with a 10-second cancel window, and mining resumes automatically
  • Everything is embedded in the miner binary — no separate scripts, no external repos, no manual steps
  • Two more subcommands for control: forge --cmp-verify prints live unlock status per card, forge --cmp-rollback restores the previous NVIDIA driver from backup. Add --no-reboot to either if you want to reboot the rig yourself
  • Safe to leave --cmp-install in the flight sheet forever — if the unlock is already active it prints one line and drops straight into mining, so there is no reinstall loop after every restart
  • Requires Linux kernel 6.10.0-hiveos with NVIDIA driver 610.43.03. Only CMP 50HX and CMP 90HX are affected; every other card on a mixed rig runs untouched
  • Plain-output mode for non-terminal stdout. Logs used to render as garbage when captured by PSEXEC, piped through | cat, saved to a log file or run from cron. Forge now auto-detects when stdout is not a live terminal and strips ANSI colours; force it with --no-color / --plain or NO_COLOR=1

ForgeMiner v1.5.16 is out.

  • CMP 70HX joins the 40HX / 50HX / 90HX hardware unlock — same command, one reboot
  • No more exact kernel pin: the installer builds for your rig's own kernel (driver 610.43.03 still required)
  • CMP 40HX +14% hashrate
  • New --temp-limit / --temp-resume — auto-pause and auto-resume on overheat
  • New --oc-delay — apply your overclock N seconds after startup
  • Fixed a watchdog false-positive during real network outages
⚠ This release also claimed +17% on the RTX 5060 Ti. That gain was not real and was retracted in 1.5.17



ForgeMiner v1.5.17 — we published a hashrate gain that did not exist. Here is the retraction, and what we built so you never have to take our word for it again.

1.5.16 announced +17% hashrate and efficiency for the RTX 5060 Ti. That gain does not exist. The number on screen went up; the work the pool credited did not.

The miner now reports delivery directly:

It compares the shares your pool actually accepted against the number your displayed hashrate implies. Around 100% means the hashrate on screen is the one you are being paid for; well below that means the work is not arriving — a bad route, or a hashrate number that is too high. It appears from the first share and always carries its own margin of error. A per-card Pool column shows the same for each GPU. Both are exposed in the API and for Prometheus.

Also in this release
  • Rebuilt interface: the card table is pinned to the top of the screen with the log scrolling underneath. Press L for the classic scrolling output and back; --v1-tui starts in the classic view; --log [file] writes everything to a file, tables included
  • Card memory size is shown in the name, so 8 GB and 16 GB versions of the same model are no longer indistinguishable
  • One dead card no longer takes down the whole rig — if a GPU falls off the bus the remaining cards keep mining
  • Fewer shares lost on an unstable connection, and a healthy connection is no longer torn down by a harmless interruption
  • CMP 70HX +7.5% efficiency, measured with control runs bracketing every candidate and zero rejected shares
  • Correct difficulty and pool-side hashrate on Xelis, KawPow (RVN / QUAI / XNA), Cryptix and QubitCoin — derived from each pool's own target instead of assumed



ForgeMiner v1.5.18 is out — one table instead of two, and a miner that says what is wrong instead of quietly mining somewhere else.

  • The card table is now the same in both views, and the second telemetry table is gone. As the window narrows, columns leave in a fixed order instead of the layout rearranging itself while you read it
  • Share lines end with the luck figure: GPU0  share accepted  [ 21ms]  [pearlhash]  luck 69%
  • forge --algorithm pearlhash with no wallet used to start anyway — it took the string --algorithm as the wallet and mined into the default pool. Your batch file said one pool, the screen said another, and nothing explained why. It now stops and tells you which setting is missing. If you have ever seen the miner "ignore" a batch file, this was why
  • The HiveOS archive is now named ForgeMiner-<version>-hiveos.tar.gz so it is obvious which one it is. The flight-sheet install link is unchanged — ForgeMiner.tar.gz keeps its name, so nothing needs editing on upgrade
  • Every included Windows .bat now finds forge.exe whether you keep it in its coin folder or move it next to the miner, and says so plainly if it cannot find it at all



ForgeMiner v1.6.0 — new coin: Conflux (CFX), and Turing gains up to 39% on Xelis.

  • Conflux (CFX) is the seventh algorithm — start it with --algorithm octopus (cfx and conflux also work). Dev fee 1.5%, the lowest of any current miner on this coin. Verified against a live pool: shares accepted, none rejected, delivery around 100%
  • Conflux needs about 8.6 GB of video memory and that grows slowly as the chain advances: 8 GB cards cannot mine it, 10 GB is tight, 12 GB and up is comfortable. The miner tells you at startup with the actual numbers instead of failing partway through
  • Xelis is substantially faster on the RTX 20-series and the CMP boards — up to +39% hashrate and up to +24% efficiency depending on the card. Five runs per side with the order reversed. Ampere, Ada and Blackwell are unchanged; they were already at their best setting
  • Encrypted pool connections on every coin. Before this only Pearl could use one — the others accepted the address, said they could not, and connected in the clear, which a TLS port answers with silence. As a result the ready-made SSL launchers now work: 20 of the 28 shipped were pointing at ports the miner could not speak to
  • --temp-limit only ever worked on Pearl. On every other coin the flag was accepted, listed in --help, and did nothing at all. It works on all coins now
  • A dead card used to keep showing its last good hashrate in the table, the API and the HiveOS stats file, so no watchdog anywhere could notice it had stopped. It now reads zero
  • BTX 4.7 support, with images for four card generations. The pool is reachable, but the network itself is close to idle — ready when it picks up
  • Fixed the log view in HiveOS, which used to print garbage instead of text; statistics now report shares per card, not just the rig total



ForgeMiner v1.6.1 — BTX mines again on every pool, and Turing is up to 20% faster than 1.6.0.

  • BTX accepts shares again. The miner had been sending work no pool would take, and on some cards it had never produced a valid share at all. Verified live on four pools — LuckyPool, btx-pool.com, Byron and diffpool — every share accepted, none rejected. It now checks itself against the reference node's published test vector at start-up, so this cannot come back unnoticed
  • Pearl is faster on the CMP boards and the RTX 20-series — up to +20%, at the same power or lower. Every figure was measured on the card with the run order reversed and no rejected shares
  • Encrypted pools are found on their own, on every coin. A TLS-only pool used to need ssl:// typed by hand — which a HiveOS flight sheet has no way to say, and is why BTX would not start from one at all. Comma-separated backup pools now work on six coins instead of one
  • Rigs with several cards: a start-up fault that could take the whole miner down is fixed, the HiveOS dashboard reports BTX like every other coin, and the default worker name is your machine's hostname instead of one fixed name shared by every rig



ForgeMiner v1.6.2 — BTX stops reconnecting every hour, and the pool column has been reworked.

  • The hourly BTX reconnects are gone, and a reconnect no longer costs shares. Two separate things, both fixed. The miner treated a quiet pool as a dead connection and hung up — but BTX pools go quiet between jobs far longer than most: measured across 2.5 hours, the median gap is 69 s while eleven gaps ran past 180 s and one reached 362 s. It waits long enough now. And when a reconnect does happen the pool hands out a fresh slice of the nonce range under the same job; the miner used to keep the old slice, so every share it sent until the next job arrived came back refused. Verified: 2.5 hours, 190 shares, no reconnects, nothing refused — and separately, three forced reconnects, 93 shares, nothing refused
  • The Pool column and delivered have been reworked on BTX. They were priced against everything the card spun, including work that could never reach the pool — dev-fee batches, work discarded when a job rolls mid-batch, and everything mined while the connection was down. A healthy rig read delivered 77% while the pool itself credited 96%. It now reads 100% ±7% over 2.5 hours against that same pool
  • BTX is faster: +5% on the 50-series — hash and efficiency at the same power draw — and +2% on the 30-series while drawing 1.5 W less. Paired runs with the order reversed, no refused shares
  • The log says what happened: efficiency read 0 H/W on BTX and now shows the real figure, a disconnect names its cause, a refused share prints the pool's own wording, and the start-up TLS probe no longer looks like a fault
  • --cmp-install left in a flight sheet no longer loops. On a platform that runs the miner without root it exited, the platform restarted it, and that repeated every five seconds forever. It now says the unlock was skipped and mines anyway



ForgeMiner v1.6.3 — the HiveOS log button works again, and the dashboard counts pool drops.

  • The "miner log" button in HiveOS shows the log properly again. It had been showing a single line
  • That log stopped eating the rig's memory. It used to grow by megabytes a minute; now by kilobytes
  • The dashboard shows how many times the pool connection dropped — drops N, next to the transport and the difficulty, and in the API for anyone graphing it
  • Conflux's algorithm is called Octopus. That is its name everywhere else and in HiveOS's own algorithm list, so forge takes and shows --algorithm octopus. cfx and conflux still work, and the coin is still Conflux (CFX)



ForgeMiner v1.6.4 — update now if you mine BTX on a 50-series card.

  • BTX on RTX 50-series cards was computing the wrong episode. Fixed. Nothing looked wrong from either side — the shares were accepted, because pools were not checking that part of them. Newer pool software does check, and refuses about one in four
  • LuckyPool has moved BTX to a new protocol. forge speaks it. The old port keeps working for as long as the pool keeps it alive, and the Windows launchers now ship for both



ForgeMiner v1.6.5 — a large hashrate and efficiency gain on BTX and Pearl.

  • BTX is faster on every supported generation. Measured live against 1.6.4 with the overclock untouched: up to +32% hashrate and up to +23% efficiency depending on the series — the 50-, 40-, 30- and 20-series and the CMP boards all gained
  • Pearl is faster on the CMP boards and the RTX 20-series — up to +8.5% hashrate and up to +5% efficiency; an eight-card mixed rig gains +4.7% hashrate and +2.9% efficiency overall
  • Share delivery to the pool is now practically complete. A share that had been found could occasionally be lost on the way out; it now gets there



ForgeMiner v1.6.6 — a fix for CMP 50HX rigs that mined at zero on 1.6.5.

  • CMP 50HX rigs could produce no hashrate at all on 1.6.5. A profile that 1.6.5 introduced for that board is now off unless it is asked for. There is nothing to configure: if 1.6.5 mined for you it still will, and if it did not, this release fixes it
  • The profile is still available for rigs where it helped — set FORGE_BIGK=1 to opt in. It is worth under one percent of hashrate on this board, which is why it is no longer the default



ForgeMiner v1.7.0 — new coin: NOID (Parano1d). BTX up to 15% faster.

  • NOID (Parano1d) is here — --algorithm noid, on the RTX 30-series and newer, CMP 90HX included. Ready-made launchers for InnovLab (EU and RU, TLS) and Suprnova. Dev fee 2.5%
  • On a mixed rig, cards older than the RTX 30-series (RTX 20, GTX 10, CMP 30HX/40HX/50HX and 170HX) sit NOID out and say so once, while the rest of the rig mines it. A rig with no suitable card at all stops with a clear message instead of mining at zero
  • BTX is faster against 1.6.6: the 30-series and CMP 70HX/90HX up to +15%, the 40-series +5%, the 50-series up to +5%. The 20-series and CMP 40HX/50HX are unchanged
  • AlphaPool now works like every other Pearl pool, over standard stratum on port 5571. Its launchers moved into the Pearl (PRL) folder as AlphaPool-EU and AlphaPool-RU. Old settings keep working: port 5566 is switched to 5571 and --proto alpha is ignored, each with one line in the log



ForgeMiner v1.7.1 is out — a NOID hotfix for HiveOS.

  • NOID: pointing a TLS pool at the miner without the ssl:// prefix — which is exactly what a HiveOS flight sheet hands over — now connects straight over TLS. The one-off "no work" warning it used to print while it worked the connection out is gone. Nothing to change in your setup; if NOID was mining for you it still will
  • Minor cosmetic clean-ups to the live display
