For me it's the financial freedom that I can give to my families and the next generation. So it's very important for me to build generational wealth as long as I'm living. Of course, it comes with things like you can buy anything and make you happy.

I agree with you on the freedom part. Nobody wants to work for a boss forever or ask permission to travel and that’s why most of us are chasing money. But I don’t really agree with the "poor mentality" line. Some people want to get rich to compete, to prove something, to be ahead. That’s not poor mentality, that’s just ambition. At the end freedom is the goal for many, but the reason why someone wants to be rich doesn’t really matter. 

Freedom 100 percent, because being your own boss and not depending on anyone for salary is the main reason for me too. I get what you’re saying about people who just want to show off, but I think that also pushes some people to work harder. Everyone has their own reason.

If after creating a lot of wealth, in the end, one cannot act according to his  own wish or make decisions according to his preferences, then the real purpose of owning so much money has not been fulfilled. People want to be rich so that they can solve any problem in any situation. They will have the ability to solve this kind of financial problem. Society and family will give them enough importance.
