What is the main goal of people to become rich?

Most people dont want to become rich, the highest value for money is security.  If you have the wealth or means to secure forward your costs for the next twenty years you can say you have achieved alot.  Its not easy to do by cash alone as inflation is present and actively a threat so the wealth is in the means of production secure to last twenty years of likely extended inflationary pressures on all common costs.
  Security by far is the largest motivation for wealth and then secondary things like luxury might apply, every recession shows this bias to fundamentals is the true value in the economy.

Aside from the security to be able to provide for future needs and some likely wants, I think the 10% reason for people to get rich is power especially for people that have been trampled down far too long by people of power, to be able to enjoy the full privilege of your rights and further more, to be a to have a sustainable provision for future offspring.

Yeah due to inflation, money should not be kept around but be tied down to an appreciating valued assets.

We must have a financial foundation for future security. And to create a good financial foundation, we must invest. I think business and investment are the only ways in which we can create a good foundation for the future. Inflation is a problem that exists everywhere, and it is a difficult problem. To survive it, we must use money instead of saving it, that is, invest it. And this is to invest in an asset from which we can expect a good return at least in the long run, of course every investment involves risk, but we should invest in an area through research that has a good chance of success. Just saving money without using it for anything is the most foolish thing, it will only lose its real value, but if you use it, it will create more money for you. so learn to make money by using money.

Being rich, gives you a sense of control or power over others. I guess that's why many people want to become rich. Besides avoiding discrimination out of being poor. You don't really need to become rich to live a fulfilling life. If you live within your means, nothing else matters. You can be part of the middle class and still be successful. But for some people, their current income is not enough. The more they earn, the better. To each, their own.

There are far more important things than just money. I'd suggest you choose your path wisely.

Yes, living a fulfilled life doesn't mean one has to be very rich, as far as one can be able to afford their needs and pay off their bills should be enough for them, as it the important thing that will happen to a man, as it will give them peace of mind and the freedom. So, people should chase in what will give them peace, as it can be of help to them and to others too, as everything else is extra and that is what it means for one to be successful.

There are some who want to be rich to live a luxurious life themselves, while some want to help others, but there are some who do not know why they want to be rich. They only think that the amount of money they have is that they need more. Most of them have a common interest that they will be rich and live a luxurious life themselves, that is, they do everything for their own happiness.

But to get real happiness, you do not need so much wealth. For happiness, you need a feeling of self-satisfaction. If a person is able to meet all his expenses, that is enough for him, but there is common religion in people that they are never content with anything. There are some who are happy with what they have, but they try to imitate others by looking at their wealth and become unhappy. In my opinion, if you can lead a normal life and have financial freedom, that is enough for a person's life.

For sure, there are people like that. Majority of the people that wants to be rich due to this reasons have been struggling for decades now but they are not rich yet, And the funniest part is instead of saving the little ones they are getting, they would rather spend it in luxury.

You're right, there are some people who care about other people as much  as they care about themselves. But they are very hard to get, nowadays we only care for our family and loved ones we don't care about the well-being of the people. But I can't blame anyone who is struggling to be rich so that he could take care of his family because the economy we are today, everyone is struggling for themselves those who have made it has refused to help those who are in need.

One of the greatest task of life is overcoming poverty and gaining control of our financial lifes, many after years of suffering still ends up where they never expected not because they are not good at what they do or don't have the desired skills. At times little mistakes like lack of dreams do hinder targets but can still come to reality once the right path is chosen.
