Op I still believe on the theory that drug addiction is stronger than gambling addiction. You can see my few points below. In drug addiction, you are damaging you flesh and spirit both at one. Man, any addiction is very bad, because the big problem with addiction is not the physical harm that they cause, but the mental harm.

Believe me... the physical damage is much more easier to heal than a mental damage. If the person has a good mind, then they can overcome your limitations of their body (or at least live reasonably well with the time they have left). But if they has a mental problem they can not overcome (like depression, addiction, others), so they may struggle with it for the rest of their lives and this mental problem also end up to make the rest of their body deteriorate.

And do you know what is even worse? Drugs is more hard to obtain that gambling. For someone to get drugs, they need leave your home, go to a place where drugs are sold and expose themselves to a risks. But what about gambling? They just need to open your in your phone a website. It applies to all kinds of addiction especially when you are so deep in that rabbit hole to the extent that you're in the point of no return.

In general, whenever you are so addicted to a certain vice or even a harmless activity, getting to stop that kind of addiction would be a tall mountain to climb due to the habits that you formed over the years. But with drugs there is also physical addiction (also with cigarettes, noting tobacco is a drug). The physical addiction adds a layer of danger to the entire addiction ordeal which could even end up deadly for the individual. So the danger there is not only losing all your money and going into debt forever, but also losing your life.

Either way, they are both tough addictions and should not be underestimated.

Well in some places thats really rampant and really hard to stop. Though drug addiction totally related to mental and has physical effect on the user its still worse for me. So I feel that it's more dangerous than gambling addiction since gambling does not destroy any organs of the body.

While drug addiction or alcoholism (let’s call them "chemical dependency" for simplicity’s sake) can be treated with substitution therapy and by reducing the body’s dependence on these substances, gambling addiction is a purely internal, psychological problem. And "pills" won’t solve this issue.
I think the right solution would be to conduct educational outreach in schools and institutions, restrict access to gaming platforms, and impose stricter penalties on the platforms themselves for violating the rules. Unfortunately, I don’t see any other options...

We need to talk about this in elementary school and continue to discuss the problems of gambling addiction, preferably with real-life examples, so that guests can come and explain what can happen. Instead of being talked about by teachers who know nothing about it, it's difficult to compete with bloggers on streaming platforms who promote gambling and only show the successful side of things. Children will prefer them.
