Justice becomes unfair when a rich offender is already  involved, because he gets to buy what true justice is, and leaves the innocent man serving the prison time instead. And worst is, those lawmakers are completely aware of the what they're doing but because money works more than empathy and conscience, the law of equality and fair justice are now totally gone.

True. In my country, the rich man always gets the advantage. They can hire top lawyers and they can win the case easily. Even they got to the jail, they get special treatment there. And they can be our from the jail faster because of many reduction of sentence. Meanwhile the poor man, they are very difficult to get the justice because law enforcement gets nothing from the poor man. In most cases, poor man often loses in the court due to any reason. When they go to the jail, they must get minimal treatment.

But in cases where the poor person is the offender, no delays and hesitation, justice is served immediately.

The rich will eventually be prosecuted for their crimes if any, but maybe at a longer delay or after a lot of paperwork which will be hindered in every step.

The government made the law to favor themselves because they are the rich and friends to the rich people. It becomes very easy for them to go scout free without being punished after committing a crime because they can buy their way out or pay a fine.

However, the poor doesn't have money to take care of his basic needs and monthly expenses which makes him incapable to pay for his crimes and be set free.

I wonder if this is where AI can be used since AI don't know concept about preference that helps it to be neutral. Laws are meant for all humans and no one is above it, in certain countries where the justice system isn't corrupted even billionaires go to prison, that's the reason why I think that this doesn't happen everywhere. in some countries the rich cannot get away with things that they did to break the law because it has nothing to do with their wealth but it is quite sad that in many countries this isn't the case, they place those that are rich above the law all because of the financial benefits that comes with it.

I'm sure your reference isn't to a country like China. From what I read concerning that country, crime and corruption have been battled to a reasonable extent that offenders are publicly shamed and punished. I like it that way. In Africa, what you said is highly evident and that's because we've weak institutions of government that's supposed to implement and punish offenders. Ironically, these institutions are now deeply involved in corruption themselves. Justice depends on evidence. If you dont have the evidence you cannot go ahead with justice. If you cannot prove that evidence was tampered in the first place again you cannot bring in justice. I dont see how AI can help in this.

The rich are just really good at tampering evidence and creating fake evidence both of which are done spending money. The poor are at a disadvantage because of this.

However I believe in karma and bad karma will haunt them for lives and hence I sleep easy keeping my hands clean even if I have to remain a bit poor.

Laws are made by the politicians to protect the interest of the rich and influential persons in the society because when they leave power the law will also be favorable to them and if the law is going against the high and mighty in their society they will simply change it. The poor and most middle class are at the mercy of the laws whether it would favor them or not.

I don't know much about developed countries like America and Europe, in Africa, specifically Nigeria, most rich and influential people often escape justice, they will manoeuvre their ways because they are friends with politicians and can sort themselves out and that is why corruption is at it's peak. This means that the law does not apply to a person's money or fame. The law treats all citizens equally. In the eyes of the law, the rich and the poor are nothing. Everyone is the same to them. If a person commits a crime, he should be punished based on his crime and not because of his wealth. Because justice is also loved by Allah and we, as Muslims, should follow the commandments we have received so that tomorrow we will not be able to do injustice to an oppressed person without any crime. The purpose of this is that in a good society, justice is the same for everyone. No person should be left out on his own merits. The main purpose of the law is to establish justice in the society and establish the rights of people, due to which peace and order are maintained.

I saw many people who are not jailed because they have a lot of money and they bought all people after that when they did crime. Many of the rich people are involved in crime because they have money and they are free in life and have no other thing to do. When you have free time then your mind will be distracted. If you are distracted you will not be at right path and you will lose your most of the money to hide your sins. Poor people have less money but they know their boundaries because they have to run their family with their income but rich people don't understand that and they want to destroy poor people by doing different things which we can not  mention.

The law works alright, everywhere else, it does work. The problem remains that, you can’t prove nothing. How can you? You haven’t got the resource or the necessary access to materials that can prove an accusation beyond reasonable doubt before the court of law.

The rich wouldn’t fight themselves because, they all benefit from the same purse. Everyone within their class has got a skeleton in their cupboard and most times, it’s a secrete they share, pull one down and they are all going down together so, they don’t spill.

Yes. Everything will be processed if proven wrong. The key lies with the judge, who gives them full rights according to the rules without pressure.

I don't know if this is true in rich countries or countries that claim to be democratic, but here in my country and in poor Third World countries where corruption prevails, this theory is absolutely true.

The inequality gap between the rich and the poor is so wide that even the poor begins to hate the rich instead of trying to cover up the gap so they themselves can benefit from those things which the rich benefit from in the society. But another reason why the inequality remains is due to the fact that the rich also like as the poor thinks they're are the bad ones when the government is actually the cause of these injustice.

The law is definitely different for rich people because there is a hierarchy in our society and those who are on top of the power, will not punish themselves. They invest lots of money in public image to gain the empathy of people, they have a huge influence over many things and so on. Anyways, I was watching a debate about why rich people should pay higher taxes than normal people and one reason a man said is: Who needs police the most, rich or the poor? You can't steal anything from poor because rich has the wealth, so, police exists for the protection of rich people and they should be paying higher taxes.

But most people have house and they are thinking that they have much more in their life, and they are paying more tax on their home and income, and government is taking most of their income, and they are hardly eating their meal due to inflation and poor management of money.
