When we have a good amount of money to invest, we can think about that investment in three ways, such as the first is
• We will invest DCA

I would deny it, this is a nice discussion but just to your information, this is not a new bitcoin buying strategy.
Do you know that most beginners aren't even aware that you can buy bitcoin on different occasions? Some believe you can only buy once and for all. I talking from experience after fewer friends and relatives I initiated to invest on bitcoin. The first question after they've agreed to invest was " IF CAN THEY BUY MORE THAN ONE ENTRY "?
As you can sense from that, they were already considering a Lump Sum.
Maybe due to how we frequently talks about Dca in this platform we don't know about the Lump sum. However, Dcaing seems a more interesting investment strategy because, you can accumulate desirable portfolio's on different buying entries depending on your cash flows that generates your bitcoin investment funds.
Of course some buys daily, weekly, monthly or quarterly of the year's while some buys just once and hodls according to their stipulated timeframes.

The difference between lump sum and DCA is that one is done regularly and the other once in a while maybe, due to lack of regular discretionary income. You mustn't use a big amount of money to lump sum, you can buy with any amount of money. It's called lump sum because you're buying right away irrespective of the price of bitcoin. Lump sum simply means investing a large amount of funds without considering the market price at all or even seeing the market conditions.  Lump sum is just a one time massive transaction of investing where we don’t have to wait for our discretionary funds or sit back and wait for weekly accumulation.
While on the other hand DCA is a strategy which offers privilege to many retail investors that don’t have higher amount of money to invest at once and it offers us the opportunity not to sit back and start saving up before investing.
DCA is a constant accumulation strategy where retail investors like many of us have the ability to get to buy bitcoin or any other digital currency at any price point hoping for the future goals.

To me, which of these two strategies is better depends more on the investor's mentality than on the market. Many people see lump sum as a high-risk strategy but one thing is often overlooked, which is that not everyone has the mental strength to buy in this way and then do nothing for a long time, If the market drops 20-30% after buying, many people panic and sell and that's when the real loss occurs. In my opinion whatever strategy is chosen, it is more important to be consistent. Because even the best plan will not work if decisions are repeatedly changed due to emotions in the middle.

A bitcoin investor does not need to wait for one strategy before investing in bitcoin. It can start from NCA, but no need to use all the money for NCA, you can have part of it for lump sum. The reason I like NCA is because it has no timing, not procrastination and not missing of the bull run. All strategies are good as long as bitcoin has falling very well, both can be used to buy bitcoin than waiting.

I would always say that an investor does not wait for a right entry before investing, and that is because of the trust amd long term value of bitcoin that he/she believes in. Though waiting for the right entry could be a way of risk management which is totally understandable but as an investor for a long term project the current market price should be the least of your worries but rather the long term goals should be of more concern.

Either lunpsum or DCA are investment strategy and not trading, so it can be initiated at any point in time. You don't necessarily need to put all your earnings into an investment to call it "lumpsum" because it basically deals with putting in a huge amount at once maybe periodically or on a fixed date. Though it is mostly for the rich so it's not popularly used but its also a good way to invest in bitcoin.

Applying lump sum can be on a high or low price and that is not without panics invariably. Panic of ooh if I had known I would waited a bit longer to buy at a lower price and all that. DCA strategy on the other hand give an open chance of let me take up the pressures and panics which means DCA strategy undermine or removes pressures and panics around Bitcoin investment. A lump sum is still not bad, he can do a lump sum and continue with the DCA. I know that the market is in a bear season where the price will experience more downtrend but if he has the money available for a lump sum he can do that because if he waits for the price to dump more, he might use up that money for other things which means that he may not be able to do the lump sum anymore. Same thing with the DCA because if he focuses on DCA alone, he will still use up part of the money. My advice to OP is just that he can buy with the money available with him currently inasmuch as he has a long term target, he will still make profits from his investment.
