Some people are gambling for different purpose and we cannot blame them because that was the mentality they are bringing into gambling to achieve a particular desire from it, but we also know our limit and what we are capable of doing and not to expect from gambling at our own disposal, this is why we cannot be the same as others think or react when it comes to gambling.

For most gamblers, not being able to stop even when they know that they are losing consistently is just a result of gambling addiction and this is the problem a lot of people are gamblers are going through. While others is just the need to make money urgently, this has made them lose their senses. A lot of people seem to forget that gambling is a game of luck and winning isn't really by consistent or how hard you try. Some gamblers lose and still make more deposits hoping that they can win an amount of money that makes up for their losses.

I'm sure quite a lot of people today who gamble can't stop when they still have enough money to bet, even though they have experienced consecutive defeats but this does not make them stop even the more defeats that occur, the stronger this makes themselves driven to continue gambling because they want to get back the money they have lost in previous bets. This is a self-inflicted mistake that cannot accept disappointing results and with the continuing adverse effects of addiction or huge losses is a sure thing because it is certain that people like this are addicted.

Someone who gambles wisely will not do this, they will know the time to stop gambling whether when they win or lose they will be able to stop because they know that continuing to gamble can make them lose self-control, because there are not a few cases where someone who gambles wisely but because of too long gambling it makes them gamble unwisely. In short: If you haven't calculated your budgeted gambling money as a loss, you are doing it wrong. Because you can't plan to win, but you can plan what would you do IF you win. That said, but you are better off planning how much you can lose and what do you do after you lost.

First and foremost, I believe the main purpose of gambling is to win, the second purpose is fun, but if you don't win, you still have the fun, so it's a win-win. While it is simple to understand that we are losing when we are losing, some gamblers fail to write down the reason for the loss and take action to avoid a similar situation in the future. Is simply like having one illness, and you don't try to treat it, then it leads to more illnesses. Gambling with amount that affect ones bankroll causing emotional stress should be considered a stupid actions. I was addicted for reckless gambling lifestyle and that thought be a big lesson in life because it wasted a lot of my precious time. I went on a long break and didn't even think of gambling again. However, when I started gambling, I gamble once in a week and I do that with a little amount of money. I can now gamble in a responsible way.

This is it is been said that experience is the best teacher but is that phrase right? Sometimes it is hard to quit especially after losing but one thing to always remember is that if you give into your impulses and start chasing your losses this would only cause more damage in the long run. I think the only reason most gamblers keep on losing or failed to admit that they have lost and hands up is because of pride and over confidence in the game. They mostly believe that backing off at their losing time is simply a sign of weakness, therefore, choose to gamble till they will finally lost everything at the process of it before learning. Gamble shouldn't  be a die hard game, sometimes it better to just let your losing slide at least for safety purpose and for you not be victimize.

That's true, instead of them to back off, they will keep trying and the more the do that with that pressure in them, the more problems they create for themselves, which they can be losing more funds or they get addicted in the process all because of pride and overconfidence in gambling. But, I keep asking myself, why will one just decide to build that confidence over a game that its unpredictable in nature?

That's the truth bro, everything in life is just based on choice and your personal decision. It's obvious that many gamblers love learning their lesson through biter life experience while some will prefer learning from other people's lesson, it's just depends on what you want as a person. Personally, I don't have to hold things too strong when I pretty knows how gambling is, and that almost every single success is actually as a result of luck and nothing more than that.
