Am still surprised, I invest so much to lose everything and all I keep hearing is keep buying the deep. What happen to the one I bought? My balance is no longer showing because the capital has turn zero $0 but the ratio figures is still showing without any form of capital. Does this means I have no coins anymore or I have lost it for waiting in vain? Or my money couldn't sustain the time frame for my little fraction of $500 btc ? If this happens does it means you're lost or you've your coins?
Make sure you really bought Bitcoin. If a project closes or goes bankrupt, your invested capital may appear to be zero. If the amount is $500, this amount is not very small. If this is the case in your portfolio, it may be that your wallet seed phrase and security have been stolen and Bitcoins have been transferred from there. New investors often make this mistake. They show indifference to taking care of digital assets, or do not attach any importance to it. Keep the security keys of the Bitcoin wallet in a secret place and transfer them to multiple places. A little carelessness can lead to the loss of this valuable asset of yours.

What kind of trade did you place exactly? This could be futures or spot trade because a capital of $500 would definitely not turn to $0 with the current bitcoin volatility. Another concern should be whether a leverage was used to place the trade as this could wipe off your account quickly when the market goes in the wrong direction. Or possibly, it could be that you bought a wrong crypto which is not bitcoin or probably a shitcoin that rugpulled after developers took out their money. There should be possible lessons and solutions here in the forum, so you could watch out for them.

I have a lot of questions to ask you. I hope you answer and this is not another thread you create and dosnsg respond that later becomes place for people that spam. Firstly, what wallet are you using? Is it custodial as in centralized exchange or non custodial as in personal wallet where you control the seed phrase and the private keys. If you are using centralized exchange, then your coins is under their custody, only then can explain what happened to why your wallet is writing $0. I hope the coin has not been delisted. I doubt if Btc will be delisted though. However, if you are using a hot wallet, check the address that hold the coin on the block explorer, if he coin is still there, then you have nothing to worry about. Kindly export the seed phrase or the recovery seed to another wallet and you will see your coins there. If you are experiencing this from a hardware wallet and your balance is intact on the explorer, don't import your seed phrase to a hot wallet, rather copy the public key/address to a hot wallet and use it to monitor the coin, leave it thay say pending till you want to move the coin and look out for why your wallet is behaving that way. If you have more questions, let me know.

If you actually invested 500$ in Bitcoin your not going to lose it, unless you did some kind of mistakes or you got hack something like that. Depending on your wallet that you are losing, I mean there are some exchanges where you could lose your tokens if you don't open them for a long time they have new rules, happened to me in one exchange wallet but I know that it was a good amount forgot about it and when I open the exchange there was no balance and even history, I guess they change or migrate or something. But aside from that there was no way you are going to lose your Bitcoin if you actually did bought it, What wallet are you using? You just need to confirm your address on the blockchain check eventhing there on your wallet you could see the history if you bought any Bitcoin or you have somekind of transactions. Or maybe you are doing leverage trading or future trading this trade you could lose your balance if you get liquidated, compared to just doing a spot trading where you buy and sell.

Yea buy the dip, but without knowledge you will be buying the wrong dip. This should sound clear to as many as it can, don't Invest on what you know nothing about. We have many different altcoins there, you should know what to invest on and those to avoid. I can understand what you are going through, buy your coins are not lost. The market is on a dip, it's values are only gone now and I'm thinking you bought at a high price which could be a reason for your coins to be completely worth nothing.

If you have more questions, let me know.
This thread produced more questions than solutions. This might be because OP didn't give an extensive explanation of the situation. They made matters worse by refusing to comment on the thread. They have created three threads today and haven't gone back to respond to anyone. OP said he bought Bitcoin, so the case of an exchange delisting it is out of place. You oservation that only they can explain what happened to his wallet is correct. If he doesn't come back to explain, then maybe the account might not be true.

I am finding it hard to believe that any of the things you described in your story actually happened. Bitcoin can never go down to zero. The only way this could have happened is if someone else also had access to your wallet and transferred your bitcoins without your knowledge. Your wallet could have been hacked, and your bitcoins stolen. I am also considering the possibility that you may have invested in bitcoin through a scam platform that has liquidated your bitcoins. A well-detailed explanation of what happened and what you may have done wrong will help us advise you on what to do next. People lose their coins and still come back to accumulate bitcoins. By the time they start over, they have already learned from their mistakes.

Your balance isn’t showing, that means you never bought anything. Accumulating $500 at the last ATH top will only reduce the value to around $250 to $300. Not really a problem to worry about though so far the unit you're holding is still intact . Buying the Dip is an advice to recover even twice by the time it get back the previous ATH level .
The only reason you could have lost it is if you involved in trading instead of trully buying it to hold. Or your account has been wiped . Zero value doesn't really add up to the story.

A lot of questions have been asked in this thread, and you are not active enough to attend to them. You need to clarify where you want to put your money if you buy bitcoin or some bitcoins, if you stored it in a self-custody wallet or some exchange which has stolen your money or if your wallet has been emptied without your knowledge, you have not given enough information here.

Which coin do you keep buying the dip that the price keep going down until it becomes worthless and now you are out of capital and what is left in your wallet is just tons of tokens that is worthless a you said. Buy Bitcoin and have rest of mind, and in Bitcoin you can keep buying little by little until you regain your standing in your investments, learn your lesson and move on.

Haha so you have some fraction of BTC but the wallet you are using is not showing the value in USD. Seriously you need to learn the basics of crypto. Anyway as far as I have understood, the word ratio you used here means you have some fraction of BTC like 0.0001 or 0.001 etc. I don't know when you bought it but if your wallet is showing you have coins in it then you have not lost them. The coins are still yours. The wallet itself might not be showing you the real value. Open any BTC explorer and paste your address there, and you can easily see the current value of your BTC.

The coins are there but the value has decreased a lot, it might not even zero. So, this isn't a real scenario that you're experiencing or do you? Because if you have $500 worth of bitcoin, that's there but the value of it certainly is no longer $500 and that depends on what was the price during the time you've purchased it. You have to clear first what you're trying to discuss here because it will never be zero believe me if it's with bitcoin.

Can you tell us more about your investment, like which coin did you buy (I guess it’s bitcoin) and where did you buy it from (the name of the exchange) and where did you store those coins (on the platform you bought them from or on your own wallet). Answering these questions could help us better understand what happened and provide better assistance. Assuming this story is true and you bought the coins from a legit exchange then even after the price decrease, the value of your coins in the worst case scenario shouldn’t be less than $200.

Actually, you are buying cheap crypto assets, which means altcoins? Then you said some assets in BTC? You won't lose coins if you store them in your own wallet, maybe the value drops but the coins you have remain intact, it's different if you lose the key then the coins are lost and cannot be touched again.
The only thing is that you must be able to save the seed phrase to be able to access the coin, this is the most important thing.

If it's Bitcoin you're not actually in lost aslong you don't sell in loss , because your coin is only depreciating not reducing in quantity , that's what many newbie need to know whenever there's decreased in prices your stack will remain the same but the value will drop due to the market prices . But if you put your money in some random altcoins then is your loss cause is not all coin will rise back after dropping massively that's why you should be careful in the kind of coin you invest in .

Perhaps the phrase to INVEST WHAT YOU CAN AFFORD TO LOOSE is wrong because bitcoin price can't fall zero level like what most of the AltCoins does but INVEST WHAT YOU CAN AFFORD TO RISK. While your psychological mindset should be in control not to panic over short terms volatility or market even at a price lump of falling significantly, it's expected that you understand that bitcoin price is volatile, has a bearish and bullish phase. However, what happens in your experience is as a cause of the price decline and as a matter of fact, we're in the bear season which price falling at the bottom is certain to happen before recovering and after the halving we installs to experience the bull season where to expect new All Time High. So as market price declines, so the values of your bitcoin portfolio also depreciates and can even fall below your capital depending when you bought. Long term holding saves you the risk of loss. Buying the Dip is a pathway to buy bitcoin cheaper.

For someone who thinks his $500 could turn zero balance, what does he know about using explorer. This is one of the cooked stories we see in Bitcointalk, nothing of such happened. Benefit of doubt that the story is true, OP has been hacked.

Am sure there should be history of withdrawal and deposits on any kind of wallet. Since we didn't get much information from OP on the kind of wallet he uses, the only thing I have learned so far and I hold dear to my heart when thinking of starting a holding investment in Bitcoin is this, 'not your keys, not your coins'.
