Is there any mortal that is in the best position to give an answer to that question? from start, everyone was born into the world by their parents without knowing where they are coming from. afterwards, you grow up to believe the information you got exposed to by firstly your parents and then the surrounding your found yourself. when you are much grown and can do research on your own, you are still going to use the report of fellow humans that have lived in the past as the bases for your conclusion about life and before you know it, you have grown to become an adult that the younger ones look up to for answers to same question you don't have an answer to. life is everything it present itself to be.

We generally believe that we were created by God and for God and if that is the case then he (God) has the right answer to the question on why we were even created.

I think thats something that everyone has to decide for themselves.  We are here because we are here.  What you choose to do with that lottery ticket is entirely up to you.  We are here to create our own meaning.  Whether thats through building something, helping someone else survive their day, or just enjoying life.  The meaning of life is not something you find under a rock; it is something you bring to the table yourself.

Self decision is one strong thing to  consider in life, as all have the right to make either right or wrong decisions in life.
The power to choose for ourselves either good or bad is in our hands so I don't believe someone's decision can mislead the other.
Before now i do accept this opinion that fairground behaviours do mislead people until I was a victim and never allowed that to happen, although it only happened because I self control and never allowed myself to be controlled by the decision of others, especially the negative decision of others when that opportunity came.

You are asking the meaning of life. I guess there isn't a fixed answer for this question. It will depend on the individual context of each of us. Each person is here for a different reason, and it seems we aren't supposed to know it consciously at all, because it's an information which isn't accessible to anyone.

On the other hand, we might be here as part of the discovery process of why we are here.

I don't think so, probably in the last 2 or 3 thousand years, when we started to live as civilized and got nothing to worry about. We are here because we had the ability to think and that is how humans made to the top of food chains but once they were in the middle, running from wild animals and stuck in caves.

To get it even further, we the life on earth is just an accident, there is no ultimate purpose or God wanted humans to do more Good so they can end up in heaven and every story we heard all our life is just a lie.

Because we have a purpose, and you have to figure that out why you're here. For me, I'm still trying to know what exactly it is but I have already an idea about it. There's the thread about life that's also on this section and reading the thoughts of everyone there might give you some idea and can answer the reason why we're here.
