I prefer the second option which is about gambling for fun, I see gambling as an entitlement and I am using little amount of money gamble. Yes, the assessment is well explained, especially the option that better explains what gambling for fun or entertainment means. Now, when people say they gamble for fun, other gamblers will stop assuming that those gamblers who gamble for fun do not also like to win. Every gambler wants to win, and when they lose, they still feel the impact of the loss too.

Most of us gamblers fall into the category of option 1. The only difference between us and those gamblers in option 2 is that we do not consider it a major source of income and, as such, may not be as frequent with our gambling activities compared to the other more regular gamblers.

Most of the people who end up becoming addicts are those who want to recover losses or want to get rich through gambling. In my early days of gam bling I had so much financil problems because gambling to me was like a business.

Currently, gambling to me is like spending on a movie ticket or visiting a park. I don't think there is a fine line that separates the two options, in my opinion. The scenario you painted is very good, but I don't think that there is a gambler who takes gambling as a means of entertainment and then just sticks to that concept even though they know that the winning is occasional.

It is very wrong to use because of bad Government to gamble or see gambling as means of making living because it is unwise and sometimes if you are not lucky, you will lose the small one you have already and as such it is never advisable or encourage to use the government as excuse while someone should go into gambling because you are actually doing yourself as the government doesn't care if you are good or not. Lastly, we should never forget that winning is not guarantee in gambling.

We all want to win, it's  something we gamble for. But with the wrong intentions your ambition to win could ruin it completely.

I think the metaphor of the restaurant is original, the truth is that I would never have thought of it that way. In my case, I am very clear that my vision is in line with that of point number 1: Gambling is an entertainment that, like almost all of them, entails an expense. I am aware of it and I willingly accept the cost that the activity entails for me, a cost, on the other hand, reasonable, and which is compensated by the illusion of the expectation that one day he could get some great prize.

But a cost, at the end of the day, and whoever takes it as an investment, sooner or later, will most likely be disappointed, like the one who went to the restaurant and was not brought what he expected, paid and was left without food.
