I Was thinking that this sign-out celebration i witnessed in my community and others communities who drove all the way from there various schools down to my community government school, was just only happening within my society, without even knowing that Nigerian are awera of this misconduct of WAEC students but at least this viral pictures that have circulated online, has draw the attention of the Nigerian on how students of this days that finish WAEC do celebrate their WAEC that most of them are not even sure of what they wrote will pass them.This viral pictures that is circulating online, is a minor thing compared to what happened to the students that lost their lives all in the name of celebration of WAEC, after still finishing displaying exactly what you are seeing in the pictures, they extended the celebration of the WAEC in the road side, by driving carelessliy with tricycle and motorcycle.

I don't really know where the youths of this generation got this kind of celebration because during my own time, at the end of WAEC we only take pictures for memories and still praying for our results to appear good, yet this generation is not seeing it that way.

I also saw these immoral pictures by these students and most of them are still underaged, they clearly think that leaving secondary school is freedom for them. They took the celebrations too far and I feel very sorry for these ones that their pictures have circuited online, they are now the scapegoats that would be used to set example for others to learn how to celebrate moderately.

I heard that the WAEC of these students that are their pictures have circulated online will be withheld, I hope that they will learn from their mistakes. This types of unpleasant pictures will show you the level of immorality in our schools, before you know some of these girls will end up with unwanted pregnancies because none of them are prepared for the responsibilities of parenthood.

Back in the days many students also celebrated after exams though may be not in the same way we see today but we also need to understand that times have changed, social media has amplified everything and that’s why we see some young students going to far to create attention and trends.
That being said I think we should focus more on promoting responsible celebration rather than condemning every student because it is not everyone participating in sign out activity that engage in immoral behavior.

When everything is wrong with a country many other things will follow, the country is in economic and security crisis so we should be ready to see different dramas that we have not seen or should I say experienced in our lifetime, just imagine what is happening, when I first saw this picture, my mind just went straight to the duty of parents or is it that parents no longer have power to control their children perhaps the answer to this question is they have power and at the same time they don't, just imagine when some parents don't have what it takes to provide for the well being of their children, in some cases the children becomes the parents because they go into some shits like scams to give back to their parents so do we expect that such parents will have any say in such family, of course I know that their are rich homes that have spoilt brats that has gone out of control, I'm just trying to bring some major causes what we are seeing, I don't want go any further than this, but one thing I want is to know is that school these days is no longer what it use to be, I could remember when I wrote my WAEC and when I finished, the stress was something else because I was always reading, we should not be surprised that the teachers of this school are very much aware of of the shit those children put out there.

Alot of things are really happening now our days I wonder how the parents of this students will be feeling right now with this ongoing trending picture online, it doesn't really make any sense at all, the worst part of it the high level of pretense those children have when they are at home, most parents can not even imagine what their children does outside our in their absence and they don't feel remorseful all what they know is fitting in to a trend regardless of the negative impacts and interpretation, well every parents have the responsibility of advising their children and trust me on those with good sense of reasoning will adhere to the advice of their parents.

Been shocked when this unbelievable pictures surfaced online is an understatement, assuming there is a word that can qualify that stupid and immoral behaviour that is the word we would have used to qualify it. How on earth will children of such age go as far as displaying such behaviours online.
That decision to condemn such immoral behaviour is a very good decision because if proper attention is not given to this now it will be difficult to control because this was the way some things affecting Nigeria now.

This generation is really turning into something else, most folks are now more than eager to out themselves in height where they haven't gotten too yet...Tbh, wen I saw this, I was really vexed... I mean this guys still have a long way to go, some may even end up in the university where they will spend like 6-7 years or more depending on their course of study, so signing out on their T-shirts is so presumptuous, coz those graduate actually spent year in the university toiling in spite of strikes and whatnot... The most painful part is that it the principal and head of this school in question aren't even against it nawao...If this isn't stopped very soon this secondary student after their WAEC may even go to the extreme and start wearing NYSC Khaki to celebrate their sign out, I mean that too could be possible since impossible things have been happening lately in the country..

As the government don take their hands spoil the education sector na so the up coming generation don use their hands take damage their future because the teachers too no take the job as serious as e suppose be. This is basically the reason why the standard of education in Nigeria is currently dropping, even the cut off point for admission has become extremely low due to most of this kids have lost focus due to to many distractions such as this, most of them literally don’t read anymore. Parents are not helping out either because tell me why your child will score so low and u won’t do everything possible to ensure that you know the route cause, also tell me why your child that just wrote WAEC will come back with signature signings on his shirt and you won’t discipline him/her for such act, what are this kids actually celebrating? children that should look for a way and go for extra lessons and prepare seriously for their JAMB and post UTME will be busy signing on their clothes just to show up amongst their equals.

Another thing that the Nigerian government should ban amongst this growing kids is the use of phones at very early stages, most of this children in this picture are below 16years, it is when they see such acts done by university graduates on social media that they end up copying and replicating amongst themselves, celebration isn’t bad don’t misquote me but one should get the basics first, this children still have a long way to go in terms of education, hence such practices shouldn’t be in view yet, in fact such practices should be banned immediately so that the children won’t think that they have arrived when they still have a long way to go as long as education and life is concerned.

I'm just trying to bring some major causes what we are seeing, I don't want go any further than this, but one thing I want is to know is that school these days is no longer what it use to be, I could remember when I wrote my WAEC and when I finished, the stress was something else because I was always reading, we should not be surprised that the teachers of this school are very much aware of of the shit those children put out there.

Edit. We use to fear our teachers when we were in school but in schools this days students have made there teachers to be scared of them and that's why they can do all this things they are doing. Government schools are spoiling children because of indiscipline. You cannot go to private secondary school to see WAEC students with an irresponsible behavior in school because the school will make sure that students never gets what they want and that's why they started monitoring students from primary one till they're up for graduation, and the way the private schools do it is the best because they would host the event and invite all the parents but unfortunately principal and teachers in the government schools are part of all this behavior because they somehow promoted it.

The immoral behavior the you see there, is as as a result of the indiscipline in the education sectors today, just imagine what secondary school children are doing what will now be the case when they graduate from the university, the country is messed up and at this point many things are distracting people, the insecurity and hardship every where I think the government of the state where this shit happened should question the school on this, of course it can not be the first time as you pointed out, it is very unfortunate that everything is falling apart in this country, immorality is now becoming a normal thing in this country, no more committed teachers to instill discipline in schools.

Should we still blame this on the government or the failure of their parents? children don't just grow up to exhibit certain lifestyle and allow them get captured. the level of recklessness a child displays reflect on how careless the parents are in giving them proper upbringing. most parents are pursuing money too much to notice that there wards are becoming wayward.

It was copied from the university, honestly when I saw secondary school students doing all this celebration, i was shocked because I think that it is too early for them to be behaving like this, secondary school that have discipline and all these things are still going on then when they went to university where you can do anything you like, I think this children will not graduate because before they do the school will have expel them. I think this culture started from the Universities, now it has gradually gone to our younger secondary school leavers, which is not supposed to be so. There is nothing wrong in celebrating your secondary school graduation, but this culture of signing your shirt has been taken beyond ordinary measure, it's looking like clickbait for young ones on social media, than actual celebrating academic excellence.

Since when did ending of WAEC examination start having sign out, like University sign out. Children of this generation, is no longer afraid of what parents or guardians will do to them, if they do something like this. What an adult is afraid of doing publically, is now the younger ones with just O'level results are confidentially coming out publically to display it without any fear and respect. Where is this generation leading us to. There should be a serious action to be taking, either by the government or by the school authorities to put an end to this evil act that is taking by this children, before it will be extended to another generation that is coming.
