Recently, I learned from some local people yesterday that a tragic incident had occurred in a village near our area and it is a very sad incident.

Instead, he constantly came to the homes of those who had given him loans and threatened them in various ways, putting a lot of pressure on the family for money. When the family came to know about the matter completely and started putting a lot of mental pressure on the young man, but the boy did not get any direction and at the last moment he died with the burden of debt on his head.
According to the locals, he lost his life because he could not bear the financial and emotional stress. This incident made me realize that gambling never harms just one person, it can ruin an entire family even end their life.

I can relate to this. I know someone that close to me, and when I try to talk to her and give some advice, he really can't understand. I keep asking her why she is still gambling even though already made promises before, and answered because she really needs money to pay some of her debts. Even before she keeps finding money to pay debts, but I don't know if the reason is to pay debts, maybe my doubt is that instead of paying the debt, she keeps gambling and losing again and again. Gambling addiction does not only affect the gamblers it also affects people around them negatively, I am sure he must have win some of the game which he would have used some amount to clear up some of his debts but he was so addicted that he only thinks of gambling and greed kicks in that he wants to play to get so much money, and ended up losing all his money that he could not clear up his debts, this situation result from addiction and greed. Sorry to see he is responsible for what he was facing but the mental pressure was due to his loss, others only came to him to request for their money they lended him, and of course if you have lend someone money for sometime you will eventually request for a return, now he could not provide it, maybe he thought the only solution was to take his life. Who continues to give loan to someone that does not have a tangible work he is doing? i think that before giving out money to someone the first thing you should be considering is that the person has a collateral or is receiving regular income that you can track. As a gambler, the worse place to be is the place of funding your gambling lifestyle with a borrowed money. if you are not working and yet wants to gamble and the best thing you are thinking of is to take up a loan to satisfy your gambling urge, you are on a part of total ruin.

I'll tell you about my personal experience (on debt) I took on a large debt because of my former company, where my LUCKILY ex left me alone with a lot of debt and ran away.
I found myself in trouble, risking having my bank account blocked and not being able to pay the rent on my house. I was gambling at the time, but it was also the time when, as soon as I heard the news, I stopped doing recreational activities and committed to keeping afloat.
So here's the reaction that changed things, I took charge of my willpower and infinite patience to walk one step at a time, it's been 8 years and I'm still continuing to pay (I've already paid more than half of the debt) now I'm starting to breathe and I can afford to live a "normal" life and I started gambling again (with MANY limits) hoping to win enough to close this matter.
