Yes, gambling is all about luck. Some people will say that gambling on sport matches is about skills, but that is not true if they neglect the fact that luck is also involved in it.

Also if it is skills, why are most sport bettors losing after making several researches and making use of prediction sites.

Mine was an accumulated matches that I won over 7 odd. Juventus which was the last match wanted me not to win as the opponent which was an underdog to Juventus first scored but Juventus later ended the match with a win.

You can only conclude if there’s already huge sample of bets available for both user. 1 bet doesn’t give conclusion about this hypothetical situation and if in case there will be someone that doing analysis but still low winning percentage compared to bettor that just guessing then that means his analysis skills is worst than guessing.

My luckiest win in gambling is turning my dust balance from bonus into something significant by experiencing series of lucky bets from different games.

Like I’m not losing any of my bets regardless how risky the bet I’m taking. But this only happened once or twice in my long experience of gambling.

Lol sometimes this types of Uncertain incident give you more profit. Although I don't bet like these blindly. But I remember was in a Poker tournament. It was Earnbet poker tournament. 3 player raised , I was outside of my home. Didn't noticed clearly I also goes for all in. After pressing the call button I was regretting why didn't I noticed well enough. Meme hunter also was in that table. Luckily I did won the pot , with a Flush maybe.

Sometimes accident can be good for your gambling , but a piece of advice you're lucky it doesn'teans you're going to be lucky all the times. So be carefull while gambling.

Gambling isn't all about luck, luck plays a role but it's not the only factor in gambling that matters. If that were the case I could just flip a coin for every bet and let fate decide how i bet every time. Maybe I'll go on a hot streak right?

I'll stick with research and my gut, I feel like I will be better off knowing a little about a team vs blind betting.

Sometimes accident can be good for your gambling , but a piece of advice you're lucky it doesn'teans you're going to be lucky all the times. So be carefull while gambling.

Bettors are only deceiving themselves with the research they are saying they are doing before betting, I only prefer to go for small odds because I have noticed that what they are researching are still the teams that are given the small odds. They will research but arriving at the same thing that I easily know from their odds. I consider gambling as something that totally has to do with luck. If you are playing poker or other games with another person and it the gambling site, that can be seen as skills if you are exceptionally different. But if you are not exceptionally different, it is still luck.

I feel the same way, that betting is really a matter of luck, not knowledge or research --- research can slightly increase your chances, but winning is impossible.

There have been times when I've bet on a random team and won, then tried to analyze the bet and lost, but most sports bets I make still involve a bit of research.

Since the beginning it has been like that regardless of how our research or analysis before making a bet, luck always has the most vital role in this matter.

Even if we bet randomly when we are lucky then we can win but something like this will not last forever because luck like this does not come every time so don't make this too much of a reference even though we can get luck before it doesn't mean we can do the same thing.
Betting still cannot be done randomly at least we must have a rough idea of who is competing it could be for a team or club in soccer, basketball etc. or a fighter when we are in boxing or MMA.
This is so that we can have a higher chance in terms of probability because betting just based on luck alone there are only a few who will succeed.

This is a classic example that gambling is base on luck. Although in sports betting you might fine and analyze games and you think that you have a good chance since you really study the game. But then there is still this element of luck in every gambling games.

Even in poker, you are down but then suddenly the last cards is a life saver for you.

Although this might not happen every game, but still lady luck might smile at you at the right place and at the right time.

The person who placed a bet without any statistical analysis might still be watching the sporting event religiously. Because of this, he could understand the team dynamics and could predict the outcome.

While anyone relying solely on statistical analysis might not win every time, but the probability to win in the long time will be higher. A person who randomly guesses and place bets is bound to lose, while someone who analyzes the game might not lose all the time.

Last summer i won a huge sum would i say accidentally because that day all i did was tell someone i saw in a betting shop to divide his slip into two portions that i will like to play them the guy then help me separate the game into two slips and then i used same amount to to play the two slips, the following day i went through the games and discovered that i won a huge sum from one of the slips but in the other game slip two games cut, i was so happy because the amount i won covered both my stake and gave me huge profit. I later called the initial guy i met in the bet shop that gave me the game, he told me that his own didn’t play because he didn’t separate his slip into two due to the fact that he didn’t use a high stake, I consoled him that next time he will win and also gave him some good money from my win just to make him happy since he was instrumental to my win.

At times accidental win happens but it’s always very rare probably once in a blue moon, no true gambler that understands gambling and knows about the luck and the statistics part of gambling would want to put his hopes on accidental win.

I might agree that casino games are highly determined by luck. Exceptions to this assertion might include poker and blackjack. But when it comes to sports betting, analysis is essential. This situation cannot be considered "fantastical". Even in games where the outcome directly depends on certain actions (we’re talking about sports betting, where the outcome depends on human factors), there are surprises! And sometimes a random choice coincides with such an unpredictable outcome. However, even a high-probability bet might not pay off for the same reason.

Gambling is all about luck honestly. But I'm very confident that research, especially in sports betting can go a long way.

If out of a 100 cases, 10 produced a different result from the remaining 90 with the same result; those 10 will be the exception, and the 90 the standard. So even if your friend who did much research lost while the one with little to no research won, that doesn't mean the exception is now the standard.

But I still agree with your conclusion that there is luck. However, it is not the only thing needed because it doesn't come often.

Exactly, because without luck on your side it will definitely turn against you at the end of the day. Some gamblers don't usually stress themselves about doing a lot of research, because in the end you still need luck to make it through.

Although it's good to do some research and analysis before betting on the game, because sometimes it increases your chances of winning in gambling, it's important to know that gambling depends on luck and not on power or smartness.

There have been instances whereby bettors won their bet by picking games at random, but personally I have not won any bet without proper research, and understanding of those games. Comparatively I would say gamblers who make more research win more games or bet than those who just place their bet randomly, and without proper research. Gambling is never an easy way to make money, and that is why it is proper to make or place more informed bet than playing games at random. Before gambling on any game, you need to understand the status of the club if they are actually doing well in their league or not. There are times when previous performance does not count. A team might perform well previous season, but in the present season, they may not be in good form, and is only when you make your research that you will be able to understand that.

I think this has happened to everyone before , but trust me the guy that does the research in the longterm will have more wins to his name than the person that just picks out games out of gut feeling!! Secondly odds alone don't tell the full story, your friend could have been lucky but sometimes the odds favour and underdog only because bookies think the giant will field a weaker team only to unleash the big dogs and the bigger odds win.

If anything this is how I got into gambling myself, I saw guys doing this analysis thing and not win and picked out some 3 for games on tennis and Basketball 🏀, remember one of my picks was Selena Williams and BB was Laker's this betslip paid me some nice money after cheery picking the rest is history

Still, I do love those who do analysis and research to try to increase their chance of winning because it also shows their love for the game. It's not just about winning, in my case. It's also about keeping myself up to date with the sport I love. Whenever I do research, I do enjoy it, and even in my lazy moments, it gives me joy whenever I try to dig and predict what the results can be.

So, you can say that your friend who did his homework had bad luck, but did you ask him if he enjoyed watching the game while he placed the bet? Also, we cannot always just rely on luck. Will you really just bet blindly and expect to win in sports? You can always do a test with just small amounts and see the results. Mine was not good.
