Yes i have had similar experience, there was a day i predicted a Chelsea game against a second division team to be both team score, immediately the game started the second division team scored Chelsea a goal around 9minutes interval into the game and i became so happy and even started buying drinks for my friends with the mindset that Chelsea will definitely score because Chelsea was the bigger team and also was playing at home with a smaller odd but to my greatest shock that game ended 0:1, Chelsea couldn’t score a goal to make it BTS, i felt so bad that day, since then i don’t celebrate any game until the referee has blown the final whistle.

Yeah, I have had such experience too. But their is a saying that, it is not over, until it is over. Celebrating your bet before the final whistle is not a good one, because even at the die minute your expectation might change. This reminds me of a story I heard though I don't know how true it is, but it's about a bettor who went on celebrating early and even asked the people in the pub to order for beers, all on him since his last game on his bet slip was winning 2:0 with just less than 10 minutes to conclude the match.
