Yeah, many times. That's what happens when you like to play instead of just watching and then laughing at those who played and lost. Premature celebration is one thing I can never do for sure. It takes a lot to make these selections and that's already too much burden for the mind, so harbouring the mindset of an expectation that is not certain, even in the final minutes, just doesn't seem right to me. Celebrating a win while the match is already on is not advisable at all, because as long as they are still on the pitch, it's 50/50. Anything is possible at any time, so you shouldn't start celebrating something when luck has the final say.

Not that hype, as long as my bet hasn't settled I won't celebrate too early. Sometimes I feel happy and smile when the team I bet is in the lead situation. Last time when I bet on the World Cup the team I bet was leading and my face showing big smile at the moment but few minutes later the opposing team managed to make the score draw before the match ended which caused me to lose my bet. I did. It actually just happened recently in the Finals of the NBA, San Antonio Spurs versus the New York Knicks.

I thought I won in one of the games in that series when the Spurs had 29 points lead. All they had to do was to waste the time remaining in the game and score a bit every quarter. But the Knicks played explosively in the 4th quarter, and they reversed it so they won the game.

I was already celebrating in that game, and I was just listening to the commentator as the game went on, but I didn't know it could go that way so fast that I did hate the Spurs for a bit at what they did. Still, they are a young team, so that goes to their experience.

The experience of a goal ruled out by VAR, it was an over goal bet, with 1 more goal to win the bet, eventually they scored but was later ruled out by VAR, the experiences hurts a lot, and this is something to make peace with, learn to allow the bet settle before celebrating.

I have never celebrated a win too early but my friends has, I was not there, but his wife told me the next day..

According to what she said, the husband came back all moody, he went in, dropped his things then went to the sitting room and sat down staring at his phone screen, maybe he was watching a football match from his phone because he had earpiece on..
The wife served his food but he for more than 30 minutes he didn't touch, the wife tried to inquire what was wrong but he immediately shunned his wife off, later on about 20 minutes later, he mood brightened up and he was happy, he called his wife and was telling her he was going to change her phone tomorrow, he was going to buy a new iPhone for her that he just won some really good amount of money from a bet, both were happy as the husband started eating, by then according to the story, the match was remaining just about 2 minutes to end..

After the man finished eating believing that by then, the money must have been credited to his account, he opened his casino account and check but his balance was no updated, he rushed and checked the bet and discovered that the opposing team scores 2 goals in less than 2 minutes and the match ended in a draw, that was how he lost the bet, she said all through that night, the husband couldnt sleep.
And according her, what pained him the most was that he could have cashed out big money from the bet but he left it to run because he thought he had won it.. Lol

That's quite common and happens with the most of us, especially with sports games it is very common.
Although I have not celebrated wins early but I have surely thought that I have almost won the bet but at the end lost them.
There have been several instances like this where the bet was initially in my favor but towards the end went in opposite direction.

In some of my sports bets it happened, when my favorite team is leading 2-0, there are still 10 minutes left to finish the game, I was 100% sure that I won the bet so I was celebrating, but in football it is possible to score in the last minute, unfortunately opponent team scored 2 goals in the last 10 minutes and the match was a draw, I lost that bet. Learning from here, I never celebrate in advance until the game is over and the winnings are added to my wallet. I try to be quiet and enjoy the game.

I agree with you. But sometimes it just happens even when we are actually aware on how the game is, and that nothing is sure until it over or the final wirsle is been  blown,  you still find yourself celebrating it prematurely regardless. It's crazy, but I think it's just overwhelming or over confidence of the team you might have chosen. Their was once it occurred to me, though the team I bet on was very reliable but something amazing happened just as I was about hitting almost a thousand dollars. Guy, throughout that day I wasn't myself.

Just dont celebrate early in most cases the result migjt change, as tine goes by, make sure that you hold your ground  when gambling, we sometimes celebrate early because we thought its already finish, gamblers tend to be like this most of the time, and thats the reason why it happens to them.
