To buy or not to buy?

The crypto market has been in the "red zone" (bearish) for quite some time now. Altcoins have been hit real hard, losing a significant portion of their value compared to Bitcoin. Uncertainty is very high right now.

It makes me wonder whenever now it's a good time to buy more alts (especially prominent alts) or should I wait a little longer? I hear that central banks will keep rates high (or raise them) due to the deteriorating economic situation. If that's the case, then crypto will continue to decline during the remainder of the year.

I see altcoins as gambling. So the question look like asking people if you should gamble or not.

You can use DCA, but you can let the allocation on altcoins be little if compared to your bitcoin investment. I think buying some altcoins now will later be profitable, but my prediction can be wrong because many altcoins may not be not trustworthy.

At this point, you need to be careful with the kind of altcoins you want to buy so that, you don't end up buying altcoins that will just only keep on dumping and able to move uptrend with bitcoin price when the bear market is over. However, whomever is buying altcoins should know that he's gambling and use the amount of that you can afford to lose. Pay more attention on the growth of your bitcoin portfolio.

Alts? depends, since if you buy the those reliable alts then maybe its good to buy those coins, but for shitcoins or those something hard to determine if there's more greater value will came from those tokens then everything is really unknown. Because chances to experience rug pull is maybe high.

But if they really plan to buy then decide to hold all their accumulated coins, better just go directly on Bitcoin. Because we all know that this is been tested for many years or decade and so far it remain to be high potential and still the best coin in the market.

Altcoins are hard to speculate on, unlike Bitcoin, where we can make some possibilities of speculating the market and how it recovers, this is most essential at some point because Altcoins price when it dumped so hard, is almost impossible to recover but that is not the same with Bitcoin, so Altcoins is gambling and only your luck gives you whatever your realistic outcome becomes.
