Ethereum I (ETH1)

Fair Launch • No Premine • No ICO • No Dev Fund

A New Beginning for Ethereum

Ethereum built one of the largest ecosystems in crypto, but its initial distribution raised questions about the idea of decentralized programmable money.

72,000,000 ETH were created out of thin air. 60,000,000 ETH were sold through the ICO at $0.30 per coin, while another 12,000,000 ETH were allocated to the development team. Even today, this initial allocation represents roughly 60% of Ethereum's current circulating supply.

A monetary network designed for the future shouldn't begin with such a significant advantage given to a limited group.

Why Ethereum I?

Ethereum I - First Ethereum ever with No premine. No ICO. No developer allocation. No hidden mining or insider advantage. Number 1 choice for miners and holders. In code counting starts from 0, in blockchain as well, thats why it is Ethereum I - next chance for Ethereum. It brings Ethereum back to its Proof of Work roots, preserving open participation, GPU mining, and permissionless consensus.

Ethereum I is a fully community-driven project with no foundation, no venture capital backing and no privileged group receiving coins before everyone else.

Network Information

Code:
Network Name: Ethereum I
Ticker: ETH1

Consensus: Proof of Work
Algorithm: Ethash

Block Reward: 5 ETH1
Block Time: 15 seconds

Chain ID: 588588

RPC:
https://rpc.ethereum1.org/

Explorer:
https://explorer.ethereum1.org/

The network launched simultaneously with our first announcement (there was rebrand, more details in discord)

There was no private mining period, no early access and no insider advantage.

Mining

Ethereum I uses the Ethash Proof of Work algorithm and can be mined with any compatible Ethash, Etchash miner.

Connect your ASIC or GPU miner to the official mining pool (0% fees):

Code:
Pool:
https://pool.ethereum1.org/

Stratums:
stratum+tcp://pool.ethereum1.org:8108 - PPLNS
stratum+tcp://pool.ethereum1.org:8208 - SOLO direct
stratum+tcp://pool.ethereum1.org:8208 - SOLO rental

Start mining ETH1 and participate in securing the network from the first blocks.

Build the future from block zero.

Ethereum I preserves the EVM and the accessibility of GPU mining while returning to a fair distribution model.

If you believe open networks should begin with equal rules for everyone, join the community and help bring a truly community-driven Ethereum to life.

Ethereum I preserves the EVM and the accessibility of GPU mining
Once the ASICs join the network (which will be very soon), GPUs can pretty much be forgotten.

ASICs dont imply centralization, mostly they are rented, same to GPU, but we can kick ASICs if the community wants to. Ethereum I is a community-driven project, and it’s ready to evolve!
