Sure it can. I don’t know how but I’ve seen it play out so many times. I remember some time ago when I normally go to watch the games at a viewing center, which is also a casino. It depends, it is true that watching football alone doesn't motivate people to gamble for example: there are people that doesn't know that gambling is a paid form of entertainment, they only view gamble as a means to have fun. It's true that watching football does not make you a gambler, but if you are around gamblers, you will also bet and want to win. It depends on the circumstances in which you are watching the game.
