One thing is that the EV doesn't change no matter how many times we switch sides. The best approach is always to conserve capital and that means not increasing bet size or using abnormal leverage multipliers no matter how many times we switch sides thinking it is a lucky turn, because in the end of all, the results and the math involved doesn't feel the emotions we go through.

At some point in my gambling, (my beginnings) I used dice to make wagers. Fortunately, I managed to get a factor of 1% or less on my bets. Anyway, OP; the side of the die is irrelevant, although some might think that variance is influenced if you change sides. (imho)
