Some years ago I have been seeing people that lost money in gambling in my street, that is how it is in many places. There are also always news about gambling addiction but despite that people are seeing all these, they still choose to be addicted all because they want to make huge amount of money in gambling. When they stop not to be greedy, they will become no more addicted.

Yes, gambling is everywhere now a days and there're a huge number of people in our communities that gamble for fun and some do it for money. I know some people who gamble, who mostly play aviator games to have some fun, they don't care about the money part, they just gamble on that game to have fun.

Here, I see less number of female gamblers but high number of male gamblers, I know it can vary from one community to other but it's also a fact that now a days gambling is everywhere and those who're into gambling can't really live without it. It also has lots of information about side effects. Even on a package of cigarettes pictures of consequences of smoking are placed, and that does not prevent people from smoking. Everyone know how destructive alcohol is. Almost every week we read or hear how people drunk drive and create accidents on road, harm themselves or there are drunk fights with deadly outcome. Then look at any store - there are always people in alcohol section.

I think everyone knows that gambling can be addictive, many players have heard stories about how gambling has ruined the lives of people who became addicted. But the reality is that no one wants to believe they could become addicted themselves. When it comes to you personally, you tend to think that you'll always be able to stay in control, just as you do now. It's because gambling has been part of our history. And some culture like Macau did make gambling as part of their national attraction as it makes money for them and for their people. The addiction part though could be the worst part of it.

But what can we do if it been with us since the beginning? Maybe the problem is with humans trying to be greedy and can't discipline themselves. It's because people adore negative news and news agencies know that. They just want more clicks and they don't care about reflecting reality. Gambling addiction is a huge problem, but it concerns less then 10% of gamblers, so, people who decide to gamble despite of such "news" are right. Through gambling you can learn how to control yourself and this is what they should be saying in the news, but they don't want to make people better, they just want more clicks.

Even if such news is being heard everyday individual who are gamblers will still engage in gambling because it's a source of income that requires taking risk so whether people loose or win it will still maintain it's popularity because of the winnings that comes from it, everyone knows that gambling is bad and could be addictive to those who bet with emotions, which is dangerous to those who can't control their betting habits.

Actually, the thing is that people are getting sick on a large scale due to alcohol and smoking and millions of people are dying every year due to these reasons, yet alcohol and smoking have become a fashion nowadays.

The reason why players keep on gambling despite several complains about it is because they have already knows the consequences that is pretty involved in gambling, so perhaps knows their possible way around it. Or that's just how the society today has been made to view it? A gambler bragging about his win in front of his older son, what do you expect the young man to do?
