Since you have been in this crypto space have you in anyway come across an hack or breach that became successful with on a bitcoin wallet using someone's public keys?
Or have you read something anywhere that says it's not safe to reveal your public keys online?
In general, are there possible threats with exposed Bitcoin public keys?
Same answer .. Nope
The whole public key trend became popular once again because of Quantum computers trend. There’s passibility of future threat when your public key is exposed but again it’s a future possibility and not a present threat/ issue..
Generally, before the whole QC thing, your BTC address has always been mapped to a public key. Reusing it to receive from a different source, before or after spending from it, is a threat to your privacy itself. Exposing the public key opens the door to another possible future threat.
But there’s nothing like what you just mentioned.. Article &Threads about that are just for future speculation and there’re couple of it on this board already including the Technical boards, just do your search you will find them.
