A lot of new traders always have this mindset because they feel trading market is a safe heaven where we can make quick money or where they can flip a $10 into millions. But the reality isn’t that way so that hasty mindset and overconfidence in them lead them into making weak risk management and they just made decisions without weighing the market moves at all just see trends and boom they place an entry without experience or knowing if the movement are traps or strong movement’s.
Tons of social media post and influencers deceive the people that how does the trading was. Base on their post its just basically predicting the market instantly you can get a huge amount profit but if you really deep dive into it is there is a lot of thing you need to consider. Knowledge in the aspect of market structure, technical analysis, indicators, current market trend, and even news. So if you think people in trading just earned a lot without hard work thats not in reality is. Tons of liquidation and sleepless nights happens. That right this influencers posts and videos can instantly deceive so many people that trading is a place to make millions without much effort but the reality hits the negative way. Traders faces drawbacks in their trading journey, they faces a lot of emotional hurdles, they face manipulations and market volatility and it just only few that accept all this pains and keep pushing forward because the mindset is set right and the determination but many just fall back during the journey. so as a new trader let not get tempted by others success and think we can reach there in short period of time, There a lot needed to make it out in trading profitably.

Traders don't trade with caution alot of them trade blindly without making good entry and exit plans. Because of wanting to get quick and higher profits, some traders will use high leverage even though they have a small sized account. By doing that, their capital becomes liquidated. another one is when traders over trades, whereby they don't know when to stop and close for the day. Some of them might trade 6 times a day because they want to quickly flip their accounts. Capital flipping is one of the issues with these traders, especially the low sized account owners, they don't know that trading requires compounding, risk management and strong psychology.

Many traders don't want to know; they just want to make money. They should realize that when you learn, you'll be more aware of what to do because if you don't know exactly what to do, you'll keep blowing the account. The best thing is to learn and then lower your level of greed because greed is one of the things that causes traders to blow accounts; the amount of leverage they use is simply too much, so when you want to trade, you should be prepared. And in order to be a trader, you must be prepared to study because trading entails a great deal of responsibility. You will not want to trade and you will not be prepared to take on the responsibility of learning and gaining more experience because one of the ways out of trading is to have the experience to be able to do anything you want.

The goal of most people who trade is certainly to get quick profits but the difference is that some do use calculations, strategies or analysis and some blindly as you say. I myself think why they lose their first capital is because it is natural, for those who do it with a strategy I think the First Capital lost is like a way to test the strategy, so if the results are disappointing then there is something that needs to be fixed again.

Most people see trading as a place that they can make quick profits, and most newbies are misled by the posts on social media on how people are making money with trading and things like that, they always think all those posts which they are seeing are real, so they are always desperate to make money from trading, and they don’t know that all those posts they see are fake, and those people that created the posts have another motive for doing that. I don’t think anyone that really understands trading, will say trading is a place where you can make quick profits, everyone knows how difficult and risky it is to make money when trading. All those posts we see on social media are just seeking for attention, some of them have a trading signal, and some of them are looking for engagement. I myself think why they lose their first capital is because it is natural, for those who do it with a strategy I think the First Capital lost is like a way to test the strategy, so if the results are disappointing then there is something that needs to be fixed again.
When I started trading, I didn’t lose my first capital alone, I lost so much money during that period, because I don’t have anyone that will guide me properly during that period, so I just had to learn in the hard way. After depositing in my wallet, I waste everything within a short period of time, and I will have to look for a way to deposit more.

We all have goals in the market and one of them is ensuring we hit our ATH in the market. It's not mandatory that we should lose all our first capitlal, since when it have become a necessity to lose first capital in trading? I've seen traders been able to grow their accounts with their first capital because they made good use of solid trading strategies. To be on a safer side, what these traders do is simply setting up a demo account and ensuring there sealing every moved in the market and mistake are been monitored there, then before facing the real market, the trade is prepared for what's coming for him. Blowing first account is now normalize as something we shouldn't be surprise about because it's happening everyday in the market.

In my opinion, most new traders lose their initial capital. I believe the reasons are numerous, including, as you mentioned, the high multiples involved in futures trading, poor management skills, and overly bold decisions that ultimately lead to significant losses and the loss of all their money.
Honestly, I've often lost capital in the past when trading, and the reason I lost my capital was because of the "fomo" (intentional impulse) of buying coins that were pumping, forgetting that the risk was very high, even though profits were quicker. So, in essence, I believe one of the factors that causes new traders to lose significant amounts of money is the desire to get rich quick from trading and not wanting the long process.

As you rightly pointed out, every party involved in trading is naturally driven by the desire for profit. Your assessment is spot-on success hinges on the methods or strategies employed, with the ultimate goal being to maximize the returns generated from the trading activity. Capital loss often stems from a lack of understanding regarding the necessary trading methods or strategies consequently, it is only natural for those who do not grasp these essentials to lose their capital. This underscores the importance of possessing the right knowledge—specifically regarding strategies and techniques—to avoid the pitfalls we have discussed. Furthermore, it is crucial not to rush when trading. Hastiness can lead to a flawed mindset ultimately resulting in disappointing outcomes and preventing us from achieving the profits we aim for.

In my opinion, becoming profitable is less about finding the perfect entry and more about surviving long enough to gain experience and improve your discipline.
I 100% agree with this. A lot of traders are impatient, judging their baby steps in the game to a fully grown adult (veteran) in the game who have been trading for years, seen the rise and fall of different cycles, seen the market crumble and bounce back, seen the first tick of the year and different years, they just want to be as successful as those guys that have blown their accounts more than they can count. Not knowing that those experiences will hone their skills. Only after going through these crucibles will you truly understand the market like the back of your hand. It isn't a day or two's work, it takes time; how long? It depends on the individual and the route they took. I'm curious to hear from other traders here. What do you think is the biggest reason most new traders blow their first account? Was there a lesson that completely changed the way you trade?
Well, I can't say for everyone, but one of the reasons I lost a lot and blew the accounts I did was due to lack of emotional control. Whenever I lost a trade, there is this urge to trade again to recover the loss, and this will lead to more loses until I blow up that account. If you can always take a breather, re-organize your thoughts and strategy after every loss and don't let your emotions get the best of you, I think you'd see a clear path at the end.

I've been thinking about this lately, and I don't believe most beginners fail because they have a bad strategy. There are countless free strategies online that can be profitable when applied correctly. From what I've observed, the bigger problems are poor risk management, overleveraging, and the constant search for a "holy grail" strategy. Many traders abandon a system after just a few losses, even though every strategy goes through losing streaks. Social media doesn't help either. It's filled with screenshots of huge wins, making beginners believe they should double their account every week. That mindset often leads to taking unnecessary risks instead of focusing on consistency. In my opinion, becoming profitable is less about finding the perfect entry and more about surviving long enough to gain experience and improve your discipline. I'm curious to hear from other traders here. What do you think is the biggest reason most new traders blow their first account? Was there a lesson that completely changed the way you trade?
They don't know that they are going to end up blowing up their accounts, trust me, if you told them before they start trading they would have argued about it. I believe that most gamblers who knows how to trade today have once blown their account when they are new to trading, it's very easy to get carried away by emotions and thoughts. The level of discipline that trading requires is far more crazier than that of gambling, maybe it's just me but I believe that with gambling the goal is to never dream about making money but in trading it's all about making money, there is nothing to turn into entertainment here.
