There has been a wider wave of manipulation in the sports league, and only those who truth comes out we only know.

The NBA is clean to be honest but its players are the ones who are putting a stain on it by being engaged into gambling. Game manipulation is different and worse because it is intentional, usually done by a player to manipulate the outcome for personal interest. But in this case, it was more about using information, and that kind of information can be valuable for bettors who want to improve their advantage.

Idk if they directly sponsor the league but gambling firms are heavily involved. I watch NBA games sometimes and they usually encourage their fans to goto fanduel and place bets. Also, we don't have to say few bad eggs because we don't know the full extent of how far gambling has eaten into the game or how much manipulation is there. I want to believe there are points shaving here and there and prop hunting just like Beasley's case.

Exactly, there's a possibility that a working hands are doing things like this either directly with the league or indirectly by using those people who are involve into this business, and again, even there are rumors but there's none that being proven that it's been directly being manipulated but instead players and those officials who got caught they are the one who's dealing with it to change the outcome and make it favorable to whatever the manipulators wants take place.
