I searched everywhere for this small miner and I couldn't get any useful information, I'm guessing it's brand new and maybe on preorder already?

The efficiency makes me believe so, the link that was dropped on where I take the screenshot from isn't working either, anyone know about this new efficiency solo miner?

What do you think about the spec too? 3.2TH for 34W only sounds very good, two of this will be 6.4TH using 68W.
My NerdQaxe is using 100W-120W for 6TH.

A simple search on Google found it with no problem. It is from Hammerminer. Philipma1957 will soon be doing a review on it in the Hardware area.

How the hell can't you find this using Google search? It doesn't take me than 4 seconds to get the information you are looking for, or there is something else you are using to search that you aren't sharing?

This miner is still very new and it will take 6 weeks max to get it if you preorder one right now.
Something strange is happening though as I can't open the official website as well, or this was what you meant?

Sadly it's not available elsewhere right now, can't find it on other Asic mining purchasing platforms, it's like there are location restrictions and I can't access the website, if that's what you are facing too then you are out of luck.

Wait for some weeks or month, it will spread around but $300 for this solo miner is pricey, yes the power consumption is very good but $300? I don't know what to say about this., a NerdQ++ is $200 with 6 Terahash right now.

Information on the image is a bit misleading. With 3.2TH/s and 34W, the actual efficiency is 10.625 J/T.

What do you think about the spec too? 3.2TH for 34W only sounds very good, two of this will be 6.4TH using 68W.
My NerdQaxe is using 100W-120W for 6TH.

It's efficiency it's definitely great. But from quick google search, it seems to have price $249 or higher. Meanwhile your NerdQaxe (6TH/s) have price around $219 - $329, which is better in terms of $/TH.

Hammer Miner Thor X1 Home Bitcoin Miner
Introducing the Hammer Miner Thor X1 - the next generation of home Bitcoin mining. Engineered with the latest S23-generation ASIC chip, the Thor X1 delivers powerful 3.2 TH/s performance at only 35W via USB-C in a compact, home-friendly design built for efficiency, reliability, and long-term operation.
https://bitcoinmerch.com/products/bitcoin-merch%C2%AE-hammer-miner-thor-x1-3-2th-s-lottery-miner

3.2 TH/s is very low for solo mining. Although mining consumes as much power as a light bulb, the chances of finding a block on such a device are slim.
It would be interesting to see a device with such chips capable of 90-100 TH/s.

Still waiting on this sample and the doge mining sample.

We talked last week and he told me they are working on firmware and he wants the items to come with the newest firmware.

My signature sponsor is a usa seller and carries them all.

I have zero idea if they are good. as I am yet to test them.

https://altairtech.io/?s=hammer&post_type=product&dgwt_wcas=1

all preorder.

If you click on my signature I get 1% kickback on the order.

If you click above I get no fee.

Either way you want to get them is fine by me.

And either way is the same cost to you.

I do suggest wait til I run them.

Now the Chinese builder that is doing these sent me other gear over the years.

I still use his beagle units as I love the info screens.

I can sit in my pc char and glance at prices for multiple coins in a snap.

They also had reworks s9 boards with different chips that I tested.

So far their gear was good.

But I am yet to get these for testing.

This is exactly what some people needs in their home, I think we should stop saying that this miners can't solve a block because 10 of them is 30TH and they will produce less noise and manageable operation, for those who different voltage in their homes who can't run massive Asic miners.

Trust me, some people are mining Bitcoin right now because these small miners exists, just like a friend who has only home miners and small miners in his home, he is running close to 140TH using home miners and solo miners only.

If anyone's willing to pay $2,500 for 10 of these devices, I wish them luck. During the cold rush, the only profits are from sellers of gold prospecting equipment. A few miners might be successful, but mostly, solo miners find blocks with high hashrate.
Better is the old ASIC S19 for $200, ePIC's controller and noise box

I have to say this I got tracking on these items .

I will post soon in my thread.

As to how to solo mine.

"you lose and never hit a block"

if you can accept this above any thing with 1 th or more and low power is

okay.

Now frankly I can list ten ways to mine solo  at fairly low cost. To medium cost.

I can build a 1 board t21 does 19 watts a th and down clocked with the epic controller it is quiet .

But it burns 665 watts. here is a screenshot of my 1 board t21 miner doing solo

this unit below has way more hash but is less efficient and it is not super cheap.

I can make these for about 700 bucks. you get way more hash rate and they are quiet.

but they are big and they burn .667x24=16.008  plus the fans power so 19kwatts a day so 365x19=6,935  lets say 7,000 kwatts a year.

for me my 20 cent summer and 28 cent winter power comes to 25 cents a kwatt so 0.25x7000= 1,750 usd a day

while giving me about  0.197 percent a year shot or 1 block every 500 years on average. So spending 700 to build it and 1750 to run it is

2450 first year and 1750 each year after for a 1 in 500 year shot.

or get the Thor hammer model for 250. it burns 0.038x24x365=332.88 kwatts at 25 cents or 83 bucks

so 250+83 first year and 83 every year after.

3.6th means 1 block every 5000 years

either way you are not hitting a block

500 years or 5000 years are too long

So having the 3.6th model you lose  way less money in your lifetime trying to hit a block.

So the argument for 3.6th vs 36th is pretty simple. depends on power cost and how much you want to lose for an unlikely shot at a block.
