When discussing Bitcoin, we often focus on the price. Is the price low or high now, is there a dip coming, is it better to buy now or should we wait? These are natural questions. But I think a more important question for an ordinary investor is: How much money can I actually spend to accumulate Bitcoin for a long time, so that I don’t have to sell it halfway through? Because Bitcoin can be a strong asset in the long run, but its price is very volatile in the short run. If someone buys Bitcoin with the money they need, they are actually adding the risk to their personal life along with the market risk. If the price drops, they may become stressed, and if an emergency arises, they will have to sell at a loss. Then the problem is not with Bitcoin, but with the investor’s plan.

You have make some certain good pints. But you should know that Bitcoin's volatility is not tied to future or today or even short time trading. Bitcoin does not become volatile simply because you invested in the market for short time zzz nope. The volatility happens anytime, there is no restrictions or holding it.

The reason while buying and HODLing Bitcoin for long term has become a major talk is the positivity that goes with it. Since we don't know where the price will be, then maybe, holding for long can give you a chance of having more Bitcoin quantity in price since it may rise at anytime, though there is no guarantee.

When you buy to hold just for a shot time, you may be lucky enough to make profit because it's appreciating valuyis not known. Bitcoins volatility is not in short time or long term . Bitcoins volatility is not in the hands of shot or long term holding, it all depends on the market and probably, if you hold for long, you may be lucky to see your coins grow.

Looking into my past experience and how I got here today it's not just about how much one is making or can afford to invest in Bitcoin, some people are making good amount of money every month and they let bitcoin got into their head, to the extent that they are risking way to much on bitcoin, like someone who is making $500 monthly and he is putting $400 into Bitcoin only to survive on $100, if you ask them they will say they can afford to lose that money, it's a lie, because $400 isn't even half of their income, it is the FOMO in their head doing the talking for them, after source of income, a responsible way of investing comes next, one must put aside money for bad days too, like emergency purposes, for someone who is making 500 every month I don't expect them to risk more than $250 in investment.

Those people investing with $400 out of their monthly or weekly $500 income i wonder if they don’t have basic financial obligations which they should sort out or not. Although, most investors don’t really have basic needs to sort out as even if they do have basic needs, they are not likely the ones to take care of such needs, could be their parents or anyone else. What matters most is that the said $400 is their discretionary income and if not then i think they’re making a serious financial mistake by investing with over 90% of their weekly or monthly income.
I don't know how an investor would be able to invest $400 out of $500 of their weekly wages even though they don't have any responsibility to take care. This may be possible for someone living with their parents where the parents are taking care of all the bills including their feeding, shelter, and their education. An adult will not be able to invest $400 out of $500 salary.
Investing in Bitcoin should not make us invest in a way that will make us to go back to our investment and use part of it to settle deals.

When investor understand the risk that can be attached to crypto investments, they will not want to use all the money they have to invest in Bitcoin. The price of Bitcoin can go to any length and it's not something we need to hope on making quick profits from so the money can be use for other bills that can be hanging on our neck. We should always have the mindset to invest when we have extra fund we don't need to use presently.
That's right, bitcoin investment is a
a savings plan, it's an investment for a long term, any money you're using in bitcion should have nothing to do with your business capital or savings, any more for bitcoin investment is for a life time plan, that's how you can end more profit in bitcoin.

If you use your capital to invest in bitcoin you will later join those that see bitcoin as a scam project,  that's the fact,  bitcoin market is volatile,  you can never predict the outcome,  we can only speculate the price. The assurance is that if you hodl your bitcoin for long,it will be yield huge result.

We can always use Bitcoin for anything we wish to do with it: investment, saving, or trading. Anyone that just gets the knowledge can know what he will do with it, and achieve his goal with it. As an investor, you need to be having a plan in anything you’re doing, so that you won’t feel worried or have problems when it doesn’t go well.

Many people that just hear about Bitcoin and feel interested, without proper understanding, just because people are talking good about Bitcoin, they won’t try to make good research and know which type of method they are using for investment. But some will just use their capital to invest, and think they can be profitable easily. We should try to be keeping emergency funds in anything where doing not just put all our money on investments with any savings funds.

Is there someone who intends to give the house that will not first sit down and estimate the cost? Same applies to investing in Bitcoin, we have to plan ahead of time to know the strategy to which we are going to use for our investments, stipulate the particular amount of money for additional fund that will serve as backup or emergency fund, invest and also diversify our investment do some certain extent to avoid 100% risk, are you sure that we invested on profitable assets like bitcoin and not on a liability that will later have more risk than the benefits to serve.

Investing in Bitcoin should not make us invest in a way that will make us to go back to our investment and use part of it to settle deals.

To invest consistently in Bitcoin, it is reasonable to use the money that remains after all the necessary expenses are completed and the person does not face any financial problems as a result. Investing in Bitcoin is not such that if you invest today, it will double tomorrow. To profit from investing in Bitcoin, an investor needs to invest consistently and be aware of the risks and confidently hold Bitcoin for the long term and confidently use every opportunity correctly during market volatility and patiently wait for the right time and create an emergency fund for unknown dangers. As a result, the investor will be able to hold Bitcoin for a long time, which will reduce the amount of risk and will have the possibility of profit.

If you are trying to figure everything out from the beginning, you may not even start your Bitcoin accumulation because discouragement or procrastination may derail your ability to start, but once you can figure out your discretionary income, starting your Bitcoin accumulation is the best way forward because it will even spur you to learn more things on Bitcoin and what is needed to be able to develop a strong holding hands, like putting down emergency and reserve funds to protect your bitcoin investment from real life emergencies.

Then as for the diversification you spoke of, I don't think it's a bad idea, but it makes no sense to be diversifying when you are just starting your Bitcoin accumulation, when it's nowhere near your over accumulation status. But if you have gotten to that level of over accumulation, you can venture into land, gold and real estate, since they are not that of a bad investment, even though they might be inferior to Bitcoin in terms of profitability.

On the contrary, I think diversifying from the moment you start accumulating Bitcoin is not a bad idea. You should not wait until you own a large amount of Bitcoin before thinking about asset allocation. Because the purpose of diversification isn't just to protect your gains after you've accumulated enough, but also to reduce risk.

Risk is hard to predict. It doesn't wait until you've accumulated enough Bitcoin before it happen. It can happen at any time, and if all your assets are in Bitcoin, you'll take the full hit.

Have you heard the story of someone who spent 8 year accumulating 2BTC and then lost everything because of the Coldcard incident? Don't underestimate the importance of diversification from the very beginning.

Let's be realistic, can $400 out of $500 be a discreationary income for an investor, if we should go by the meaning of discreationary income, it is not, if I should ask, a situation where an investor does not have to handle his essential needs by himself, then there is no problem if he does make use of the afford mentioned amount but for such investor to be free from being demoted to talk out some amount from his Bitcoin investment at some point, $300 then $200 left for whatever is better.

Why I made the comment above is because, as someone that knows what discreationary income is, I'm not comfortable seeing some moves that seems to be like a mistake in Bitcoin investment.

No business is even a done with out a proper plan so as Bitcoin investment, to think of investing in Bitcoin you should be able to know your cash flow, know the right wallet to use also know that Bitcoin is a volatile asset and plan on how you can hold for long using only your discretionary income to accumulate Bitcoin.

I believe that one of the best strategy to use while accumulating Bitcoin is the DCA strategy, it's a suitable strategy that you can invest with without much pressure, with this strategy you can also be accumulating your Bitcoin either by weeks or months just depending when your discretionary income always come. I also think that our back up funds and emergency funds should come from our discretionary income.

Good and proper planning is very good in whatever we want to venture in to, but this doesn't also stand out to mean that people can not start something until they are are very sure they have everything properly planned out, one thing that is very important is to set up a standard as a step, through which you can get started while creating enough room to make readjustment while climbing up the ladder of your investment. In most cases people give excuses of wanting to have a proper plan first before starting something and end up not doing it which is procrastination. For investment like Bitcoin, DCA is pretty good for anyone to get started and make other plans of the investment as they go.
