The exchanges chart or trading view

I have noticed most of the forex traders that later learn about crypto trading like tradingview chart. In fact some exchanges have their own chart which is the default and also have tradingview chart which you can change to.

I do not learn about forex, I have only preferred crypto trading which I learned by myself. I prefer to use just the exchange chat for making analyses as it contains everything that I need like the indicators and tools that traders can use to draw on the chart.

Someone told me the exchange chart is somehow, that tradingview is better.

What is your opinion about this?

If the tradingview chart you are referring to is the type that gets integrated on exchanges and are free for anyone to use, then I would say that i prefer exchange chart because they usually appear more modern while the tradingview chart appear to be an old class.

Though maybe this is because I didn't trade forex for long before I discovered and moved into crypto trading, so I am more of a crypto trader than forex, so it's possible a hard core forex trader may still prefer the tradingview chart, I can't tell but the honesf truth for me is that exchange chart appears more modern, but this can change if we move to the paid version of tradingview since this is like fhr premium and has alot of cool features the free version doesn't have.

This kinda depends on preferences.

The time I started to become a trader, I was already using TradingView, which, for me, until now it's my favorite, compared to some exchanges' charts.
Maybe it's because TradingView is already the tool I'm used to, as it's already everything what I need.

Exchanges usually use corporate TradingView plans that allow their customers to have all or many of the paid Tradingview features for free.

If you compare it with what you get on your plain free Tradingview account, the difference is significant.

However, on exchanges you can only chart the assets listed on there, that's the downside.

I have been using trading view to do analysis for a long time now, at first I didn't understand, so I was using the chart on exchanges to do analysis but I realized they didn't contain enough tools when I started getting familiar with trading view. When I used binance exchange to trade, that's when I observed that you can switch between the normal exchange chart to trading view chart but I don't see the option on bybit but honestly, I prefer to use the normal trading view for my analysis before going to execute my trade on the exchange.

I also prefer the exchange chart, it is people that are stuck with the old trading that will prefer the trading view chart. I have gone through it before on two exchanges but I do not like it both on mobile phone and laptop. Some people may say they prefer the trading view that it is more accurate but which I do not believe if talking about profit and loss in trading. Using trading view or the modern exchange chart is not what that will let someone be a successful trader, there are a lot of things more that a trader need to learn.

This do depends on how the trader began with his trading process and with how he is able to use one in better way than the other or combining both. Though there are traders that do use trading view and exchanges charts interconnected in expediting their trade.

There are sets of traders that will prefer using the trading view chart in doing a run down of their analysis and later switch onto an exchange of their choice to execute the trade base on what they have analysed from trading view.

I feel the same. TradingView is the best platform for trading, no matter what market you’re trading in. It provides access to almost every market, along with all the necessary details. Traders prefer TradingView because of the wide range of indicators it offers. Almost every type of indicator is available there, so traders can focus entirely on trading without having to look elsewhere for tools.

Moreover, I think the majority of exchanges nowadays use charting interfaces that are very similar to TradingView. Still, it’s better to use TradingView itself.

Also, there’s no need to buy the Premium plan when you’re just starting out. The free version provides more than enough features for beginners.

I use both of them sometimes. TradingView is choppy; switching back to the built-in chart by the exchange shows me a cleaner chart than TradingView. But since the built-in chart from the exchange has limited indicators or some of the indicators do not exist that you can see from TradingView, I still need to combine them when analyzing just to get what I need from another chart.

Like on the mobile version of the chart, it's clearer to me to use the built-in one than the TradingView chart, and you have an option to slide your position, TP, and SL on the built-in chart.

However, there are many advantages of using TradingView so we can't argue about tools because almost all the tools you need exist.

My local biggest exchange has a custom chart that's completely unsuitable for technical analysis, and even worse, they don't have the option to switch to TradingView mode.
I know Binance has its own custom chart, and it's very good, and they also include several community indicators.

It all depends on your preferences and analytical needs.

It all depends on how you learned how to trade. If you learned how to trade and the person who explained it to you used TradingView, you would find it easier to understand, and the same goes for if the person that taught you how to trade or how you learned to trade was using the original charts on the exchanges. Personally I think TradingView is more user-friendly than the original charts on exchanges.

I also prefer to use TradingView more often because I find it more convenient for technical analysis than the charts and tools offered by exchanges. That said, it’s worth noting that many exchanges have now integrated TradingView charts into their platforms, thereby giving users a choice.

The exchanges is what I mostly looking at.

But to see for a better view and reference, it's okay to source and look out at it in trading view. While most of us are using free.

If you're the type of trader that likes to pay for some additional features of it and that's helping you win your trades, it's worth it I guess to use it that way.

My first advice in trading is to stick to a winning strategy. What ever tools you are used to and it favors you, why change it?
It's good though to always have alternatives, but we must understand how the exchange chart known as the modern one and the Tradingview which is the traditional one are both powered by the same engine even though their difference in design concept.

Any big exchange actually use tradingview under the hood with the exception of the real time data being fed to the chart is from exchange's internal data.
Tradingview's chart is usually an aggregate chart getting data from exchanges, it's basically the same thing except inside the exchange, the trading chart don't have technical analysis limitation which is a free premium features.

Use free tier tradingview for checking multiple exchange, but use exchanges' provided chart if you are trading because they have most accurate information.
