Except that isnt the Guennol Lioness, this is:

There werent a bunch of variations of this found, this is a rare artifact that is now in a private collection.
A piece of this age and significance would have information about where it was recovered and by whom.
What you have is either a poor reproduction or AI images.

Thank you for your observation and sharing your professional opinion. It is clear you are an experienced collector familiar with this ancient Elamite sculpture.

I would like to share my view. Very few ancient antiquities are absolutely unique. Multiple similar works were hand-carved within the same historical period. My sculpture is not a modern reproduction. All ancient works were handmade, so no two pieces can be completely identical; identical works are almost certainly modern imitations.

The natural mineral penetration and ancient patina on this artifact prove its ancient origin, rather than contemporary craft or AI-generated images. Admittedly, the famous Guennol Lioness auctioned at Sotheby’s possesses more outstanding artistic charm. Even so, this sculpture was crafted with superb carving skills, it owns distinctive aesthetic value and important cultural relic significance. I am glad to have this friendly academic discussion with you.

all that and still does not change the fact that what you are selling is not the Guennol Lioness but something else that is - if anything - a copy of the Guennol Lioness.
