⚡ Uspex Z11 Custom Firmware  ⚡
Custom firmware for Antminer Z11
(based on Bitmain-compatible cgminer 4.9.0)

🎯 Main goal of the firmware:
Reduce Antminer Z11 power consumption by automatically adjusting voltage and frequencies per board, while maintaining a stable hashrate.

🔥 Key features
• Frequency and voltage control individually for each hash board.
• Autotuning for target hashrate.
• Modes:
• Stock — around 140 kSol
• 150 kSol
• 160 kSol
• Automatic undervolt per board.
• Saving of found profiles.
• Improved web interface.
• Hashrate display per board.
• Separate display of board and chip temperatures.
• Display of actual frequencies per board.
• Manual fan control.

💸 Devfee is 2%.

⚙️ How Stock mode works
Stock mode no longer uses the unstable factory scan.

Algorithm:

• Starts with base values 718 MHz / 870 mV.
• Waits for the miner to warm up.
• Collects hashrate statistics.
• If the average hashrate is in the range 136–142 kSol, frequencies are not changed.
• After that, undervolt begins.
• Voltage is reduced by 5 mV steps.
• If a board loses hashrate, gets HW errors, or becomes unstable, the voltage for that board is rolled back.

Goal of Stock mode: keep stock performance around 140 kSol, but reduce power consumption.

🚀 150 kSol mode
• Start values: 750 MHz / 880 mV
• The algorithm first adjusts frequencies of active boards to reach the target hashrate, then reduces voltage per board individually.

🚀 160 kSol mode
• Start values: 800 MHz / 900 mV
[warning]Important: for 160 kSol mode a 2000W+ power supply is recommended.[/warning]

Maximum limits:
• frequency up to 800 MHz
• voltage up to 920 mV
🧠 Autotuning logic
Autotuning works on active boards, regardless of their numbers.

Temperatures:
• up to 85°C — considered normal
• above 85°C — fans are set to 100%
• above 90°C — considered critical
HW:
• up to 10 HW per check window is considered acceptable
📊 Differences from stock firmware
• added per-board overclocking
• added per-board voltage
• added automatic undervolt
• added profiles Stock / 150 / 160
• removed update restrictions
• improved web interface
• added manual fan control
• added autotuning profile saving logic

⚠️ Installation recommendations

If you get a signature not found error when installing the firmware, follow the instructions below.
• Download the image (links below).
• Extract it to a micro-SD card formatted as FAT32 with a size between 2 and 32 GB.
• Unplug the miner from the power outlet.
• Insert the SD card into the miner.
• Turn on the miner.
• Wait until the status LED next to the Ethernet port stops blinking (this means the firmware update completed without errors).
• Wait 1 minute after the LED stops blinking, before turning off the miner.
• Turn off the miner.
• IMPORTANT! Remove the SD card.
• Turn on the miner. The miner is now restored to factory settings and you can install any other firmware.
📌 After flashing:
• Open the web interface.
• Check pools.
• Go to Autotune.
• Click Clear Tuning Config.
• Start the desired mode.

For the first test, Stock mode is recommended.

Autotuning is in beta stage. I ask everyone who uses this function to leave feedback on the results (hashrate/power consumption).

We are working on bug fixes and developing per‑chip control to improve performance/reduce power consumption.
Firmware for Z11e/J and all Z15 modifications is planned.
PS: If you have the ability to provide access to Z11e/J machines and all Z15 modifications, you will greatly help in the development of new firmwares.

Uspex Z11 Custom Firmware v6.6 Update
The main goal of this update is to stop the autotuner from endlessly climbing higher and to separate fixed profiles from true user-target autotuning.
What changed:
New fixed profiles:
140 kSol: 718 MHz / 860 mV
150 kSol: 731 MHz / 875 mV
160 kSol: 800 MHz / 900 mV
These modes no longer run long hashrate measurement windows and no longer try to increase frequency or voltage. The firmware applies the selected profile, verifies the actual board settings, saves the profile and exits.

Separate Custom Autotune mode:
user enters the desired hashrate;
target hashrate is split across hashboards;
each board is checked by average hashrate with +-5% tolerance;
measurement window is 1 hour;
tuning is capped at 800 MHz / 900 mV;
if the target cannot be reached, the firmware stops tuning and falls back to the safe stock autotuner.

Efficiency-first tuning logic:
higher frequency is not automatically better;
the goal is stable target hashrate with lower power usage;
unnecessary voltage increase is no longer treated as normal behavior.

Safety and stability improvements:
hard autotune limit: 800 MHz / 900 mV;
frequency and voltage verification after miner restart;
old profiles from other firmware versions are ignored;
temperature, HW errors and board health remain monitored.

Updated web interface:
fixed modes are labeled more clearly;
custom target mode is separated from preset profiles;
interface version updated to v6.6.

Important: 140/150/160 kSol profiles are convenient presets and targets, not a guaranteed hashrate on every unit. Actual performance depends on board condition, chips, temperature, PSU and pool behavior. For exact target matching, use Custom Autotune
