What is Velkar?Velkar is a new
BlockDAG-based cryptocurrency built for a clean public launch, simple infrastructure, and a real chance for early participants to get involved from the beginning.

Why CPU First?Velkar starts as a
CPU-mined network because fair participation still matters.
At launch, the goal is simple:
- let more people join from day one
- lower the barrier to entry
- avoid an immediate hardware arms race
- give the network a more organic start
After launch, the community will have a voice.
A public vote will be held to decide whether Velkar should remain CPU-focused or move toward GPU mining support.That means the project starts with accessibility, but its longer-term direction can still be shaped by the people who support it.
