In 2026, if anyone says that they are just conspiracies and not really exists in reality must be liar because on several incidents that they have exposed, even though they were trying better to keep them from the real public. And I am always fascinated whenever I get into a discussion about these secret societies and to find out what they are trying to do in the real world.

So why don't we have a thread that just discusses endless things about secret societies in this world and how it affect the geopolitics that ultimately affects everyone?

I wonder if the phrase "secret society" has a universal meaning. I feel that what a typical secret society is in America will be different from what it is in Africa.

Growing up, I have had different understanding of secret society due to the Bollywood movies I watched growing up. I those movies, secret society was depicted to men evil men who came together to undo people, kill people through their spiritual powers and thereby becoming rich with others stars.

I had believed this until I read about secret society and the goals of some. Now, even the secret societies I have witnessed have been hijacked, goals changed and no longer live upto expectation. Example is the popular one founded by a Nigerian noble loret Wole Soyinka.

In a nutshell, secret society might have changed from what it used to be in the old.

The concept of secret society is a product of many factors and those factors are what determines how everyone sees it. I do believe that secrete societies exist but based on your usage of "conspiracy" it appears that the secret society you're talking about is spiritually based. Everyone has what they believe in, but I doubt if such a spirit based secret society exists. The world has gone beyond superstition and unfounded claims.

There are lists of many peer based secret societies that sometimes focus on social vices, but I don't know if any more kind of secret society you may be referring to because the aspect of secret society I know is obvious to e everyone especially their activities daily.

These secret societies I'm talking about include robbery gangs, area gangster, and other gatherings orchestrated by mere youthful exuberances.

I am starting to wonder if these kinds of organizations say that they are not following religions and stuff but I feel they just use this to hide their real intention, it is always to have money and power and I am sure no one really dedicates themselves if they got no benefit in it.

I don’t know too much about secret societies. There’s the Skull and Bones? or whatever it is called that Bush was in supposedly along with some other Presidents.

I have some friends who are Freemasons. I think that is more of a gimmick these days but I’ve always thought about joining just because it is cool.

Yeah yeah there are secret societies but I don't think it is against the law to associate in a group where you all have common interests such as to acquire wealth, gain power and become influential. Though it depends on the laws of each country but if they are not formed to conspire against a government, then it is not a problem. I don't think it is wrong to join a secret society or organisation. The funny part is that most of these world leaders and politicians belongs to those secret society so there's no way to fight them or checkmate what they do. What about the forum here, I read about a secret group here some time ago so they are everywhere, must I tell you everything?

A secret society isn't supposed to be known by the public. This is why it's called a "secret society". As soon as an outsider like you gets to know about it, then it ceases to be a secret society. That being said, it's obvious that the secret societies do still exist. What we don't know today will be an open secret several years from now. I believe most of the so-called secret societies are mostly aligned with dirty politics, money, power, drugs, guns and sex trafficking rings. Religious Cults might also exist but not to a bigger extent

Any group of people that doesn't have talks openly to the public or requires a certain level of membership to access their policies or information is primarily a secret society. There exist of multiple categories; religious secret societies (priests), political secret societies (political parties), and traditional secret societies (kings, chiefs, etc.), most of them from the ancient days practice some ritual to keep up with their power in the society, which is why they'll never allow everyone into their coven.

However, the term secret society doesn't necessary mean that an organization is bad or performs ritual or ruthless to the society like it's perceived, if we come together and make up a policy, then begin to meet periodically, requiring other people to reach certain obligations before being allowed membership, then what we just formed is a secret society.

For instance, in this forum, if they were a board only accessible to Hero and legendary members, then that board is a perfect example of a secret society. Members and visitors will only read what is shared there if they reach the required rank, making it a secret only accessible to a certain group of members.

I can't deny that secret societies do exists and nowadays they're a lot that are being recognised and registered with the government as though they're just a common social interest group but deep down they're doing a lot of ugly things that isn't told or known by the public except for their members only. They're really that dangerous, uses the economic and political influences of their members to intimidate nonmembers and promote the interest of theirs. There are positions you as an ordinary person can't get to if you're not one of them because they would make sure you don't get it above their own member.

In every society we have the good, bad and ugly therefore, if the secret society was created for a purpose and deviated fro that purpose, it means that the bad ones have taken full control of the secret society and it won't serve the purpose of why it was created anymore. There is a reason why they are called secret society, you cannot be an outsider and know what's happening inside, you cannot find out what they are planning to happen in the real world without being an insider and for most of the situations, whatever they are doing that is in the public domain might not appear to you as something that is coming from the secret society. One thing you most understanding is the fact that most of the members of secret societies are incharge of various sectors of the world, they are there in the oil and gas industry, they are there in technological sector, and they are also there real estate, and they are also available in the political scene.

What if they were the controlling ones? Then we don't really find any information other than what they wanted us to know and we only got to know so much about them after the internet before that it was only the media which they never showed certain things. I am not saying they all are controlled by same group but there is always something that government wanted to hide from the public and it could be one of them.

Secret societies is called secret for a reason. Obviously you can't know much about secret thing. And I don't really want to go into conspiracy theories and overthink about these things. Because even if I would know about these secret societies, it won't affect my life somehow because I can't change anything.

I've always been hearing about secret societies where a group of people mostly the elites in societies belongs to and if you're becoming influential in the society they will somehow influence you into joining them. I think that secret societies are more than conspiracy theories because they do exist and they are also ruthless because they are influenced or backed by the "devil" who is evil so if you're in a secret society you have be evil atleast secretly.

I believe that what motivates people to join these secret cults are money, power and control, I hear that a lot of influencial politicians, entertainers and billionaires belongs to a secret society to protect their wealth and influence. The question is whether there are influencial people in these categories that are not into any secret societies? I guess that only them will know because if they belong they will likely lie about it because it is a secret. An eye opener for me was a movie that I saw, I think the title was "eyes wide shut".

Of course money and power is the side project of any secret society. Basically to function any body needs money and to enact it's will they need power. How they go about achieving these things is what really set them apart, cause goals may eventually be fulfilled does that mean the secret society will cease to exist?

In 2026, secret societies are a normal thing. Last year I saw banners in the street advertising secret societies. It says that those who are interested should call a certain number or fill out the registration form. Those in secret societies dont longer hide it, since the government officials are part of them. Im not in support of secret societies, but provided that they dont do evil things, I don't have a problem with them existing.

Although I don't know much about these issues, I don't want to make any strong comments. However sometimes I see some discussions that definitely arouse curiosity when I read them. Then I feel that it is necessary to find reliable information to know what the real incident was.  A few days ago, I watched a video about the Illuminati on YouTube , and it seemed quite interesting to me and it seemed true. However as far as I know beyond what we see in the newspapers or what we read on the Internet, powerful people in many big countries have their own calculations behind the scenes.

Movie channels like Simpson and Scobie doo example as well.

The billionaires we have in this world got so rich to the point they want to see all other lower and average citizens used as sports for their stupidly ideas tagged fun. It is disgusting how we're yet to see any of these billionaires cramped down though.

Even former secret society members wouldn't expose what goes on in their gatherings and other activities. So most of the information we get on the internet about these societies is speculation and sometimes assumptions. You can get credible information about these secret societies if you become a member. I have a friend who is a member of a secret society. He would never expose the deep things of their organization. He would only talk about their social activities.

I have a bad view about these organizations because of their violence and rituals. When people go as far as spilling human blood for rituals, I think I should associate with them.
